Rapper Bow Wow is being sued for $15,000 by an irate father who claims the rapper cheated his 10-year-old daughter out of a feature.
The lawsuit comes a month after Bow Wow was given a special proclamation by the Atlanta city council during the 4th Annual Black Music Moguls Brunch on June 04, 2023 in Atlanta.
According to court documents obtained by Instagram blog The Neighborhood Talk, the father of a 10-year-old aspiring rapper paid Bow Wow $3,000 via Cash App for a feature or a verse.
The girl’s father said Bow Wow accepted the money but failed to come through with the feature on a track.
The family filed a lawsuit for $15,000 – including the $3,000 plus attorney fees and other court costs.
“Based on the foregoing and as a direct consequence of Defendant’s actions and failures, Plaintiff’s total damages, including costs and attorney’s fees, amount to $15,000.00,” the documents stated.
Bow Wow, real name Shad Moss, denied the claims in a Twitter post on Wednesday.
Bow Wow said he doesn’t have a Cash App and he is the victim of a scammer who is impersonating him.
“I dont conduct business on apps,” he wrote. “I do NOT use or have cash app. So if you aint call management and send a wire .. you def was NOT dealing w me. Be careful who yall send yalls money to online. This happens everyday to folks. This the 3rd time somebody acting like me catfishing people.”
