Hazelbrook Middle School in Tualatin, Oregon, reopened Tuesday, Oct. 3, after a bomb threat shut the school down on Friday.

“Tualatin Police Department and the FBI fully investigated the threat; the threat is not credible and has been resolved,” the school said on its website.

There was a heavy police presence at the school when it reopened on Tuesday.

Hazelbrook Middle School received an email threat of a bombing and shooting that led to an immediate evacuation on Friday. The school did not reopen on Monday.

The threats came after a student wearing feminine clothing was seen assaulting 3 girls in viral videos last week.

The school district sent a letter to parents asking them not to share or discuss the videos on social media. The letter also asked parents not to discuss the student’s gender.

An Oregon school district refused to confirm whether the student was transgender or not.

The student is facing charges and will not return to the school, according to district officials.

One parent kept her child at home on Tuesday due to the school administration’s lack of accountability.

“I’ve heard there have been other assaults, I’ve personally interacted with another mom that had assaults last year from this kid,” Leslie Hering told KATU.

“Again, something should have been done. I think that’s what most parents are upset about, that there’s been no accountability,” she added.

A similar incident occurred in downtown Baltimore recently. In cell phone video, a group of thugs are seen harassing a person wearing feminine clothing.

Video footage shows the thugs throwing objects at the person who made the mistake of flirting with one of them and calling him “cute”.

Fortunately, the person wasn’t injured. Baltimore police are aware of the video and are investigating the violent incident as a hate crime.
