Wigdor LLP law firm, along with the Law Office of Kevin Mintzer, filed a summons and notice on behalf of “Jane Doe” against music executive Jimmy Iovine (center).
Ms. Doe’s allegations include that Iovine engaged in multiple instances of s**ual abuse and forcible touching of her, including a specific incident of s**ual misconduct in NYC in 2007.
The summons and notice were filed today (Nov. 22) under the Adult Survivor’s Act (“ASA”) before the statutory deadline of Nov. 24, 2023.
According to the summons, “Jane Doe” is seeking damages for injuries she has suffered as a result of being s**ually abused, forcibly touched, and subjected to s**ual harassment and retaliation by Iovine in violation of anti-discrimination laws in or around August 2007.
The lawsuit will be filed at a later date.
Iovine, 70, is best known as the co-founder of Interscope Records and co-founder of Beats by Dr. Dre, along with music producer Andre Young, a.k.a. Dr. Dre (right).
Last week, the Wigdor LLP law firm filed a lawsuit against Sean Combs on behalf of singer Cassie Ventura alleging r*pe and abuse.
Combs quickly settled the lawsuit the next day, Nov. 17, for a rumored 8 figures.
