Rapper Latto shamed her mom, Misti, for apparently giving birth to her at age 14. Latto, 25, posted a photo of Misti holding her. She captioned the photo: “My mama 15yo fast azz w me.”
Latto’s followers were surprised that Misti was only 15 years old in the photo. Which means Misti was pregnant at age 14.
Fans wondered how old Latto’s father Shayne Stephens was at the time – and if statutory r@pe charges could still apply.
Latto responded that her parents are 3 years apart. That means Shayne was 17 or 18 when he fathered Latto with a minor.
Latto was born Alyssa Michelle Stephens in Columbus, Ohio. The age of consent in Ohio is 16. Which means Misti was too young to consent to sex with an 18-year-old man.
Per Ohio’s age of consent law, “No person who is eighteen years of age or older shall engage in sexual conduct” with a minor.
