NBA YoungBoy is back behind bars following his arrest on weapon and drugs charges while awaiting trial in Utah.

The 24-year-old rapper, real name Kentrell Gaulden, was already on house arrest when he was busted with a gun and drugs in his Utah home.

A SWAT team executed a search warrant on YoungBoy’s $7.5 million home Tuesday morning. Multiple agencies were involved, including the FBI, and Homeland Security.

The Cache County Sheriff’s Office told ABC4 Utah and FOX13, “Current criminal charges for Mr. Gaulden include pattern of unlawful activity. The pattern of unlawful activity includes violations of the Utah Controlled Substances Act, the Identity Fraud Act and fraud.”

The federal agencies used the rapper’s own social media videos to gather evidence. In one photo, he lay on the floor next to a bottle of prescription pills and a styrofoam cup in an apparent suicide.

In 2021, a Louisiana judge ordered the rapper to stay on 24-hour house arrest in Utah while awaiting trial on federal charges of weapon possession in his home state.

Since his house arrest began in October 2021, he’s released three albums: The Last Slimento, I Rest My Case and Don’t Try This at Home.
