Chris Brown is back behind bars. The 36-year-old singer/songwriter was arrested on an outstanding warrant in Manchester, England.
Brown was arrested early Thursday at a 5-star hotel in Manchester. Metropolitan police stormed The Lowry Hotel and arrested the American superstar without incident.
Police were armed with a warrant stemming from a violent incident in a nightclub in February 2023.
The UK Sun reported Brown was arrested hours after he flew into Manchester on a private jet.
Brown was planning to perform a huge concert in London, the UK Sun reports.
The violent incident reportedly took place at Tape nightclub in London, England on February 19, 2023. Brown is accused of assaulting music producer Abe Diaw by smashing a Tequila bottle over his head. He then allegedly punched and kicked Diaw.
Diaw suffered several injuries in the scuffle.

Diaw filed a lawsuit against Brown in 2023, but he was unable to serve the singer who lives in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Ryan J. Daneshrad, Diaw’s attorney in his lawsuit against Brown, tells TMZ, “We can confirm that Chris Brown was involved in an incident with our client, and the injuries sustained are serious. We are pursuing all legal remedies to hold him accountable. At this time, we will let the facts speak for themselves through the proper legal channels.”
Brown has had serious anger management issues in the past.
The “Run It” singer was charged with assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. He accepted a plea deal and was ordered to serve 5 years probation and attend domestic violence counseling.
Brown is still being held in a Manchester Jail this morning.
