A Louisiana man stabbed his parents to death for not getting him fast food on Thanksgiving eve.
The NY Post reports Ronald Pritchett, 32, of Purvis, Mississippi, faces charges of second-degree murder and auto theft.
Pritchett stabbed his parents Percival Pritchett, 58, and Renitta Pritchett, 57, on Wednesday in the New Orleans suburb of Jefferson Parish. Pritchett fled to Mississippi in his father’s stolen Chevrolet Suburban.
Percival died from stab wounds in his chest; Renitta died from stab wounds to the head.
“They ordered food from a fast food restaurant and didn’t include him,” said Lamar County Sheriff Danny Rigel in an email to the NY Post.
A tactical team and K-9 dogs tracked Percival’s stolen vehicle to a building in Purvis, MS, where Pritchett was holed up.
When Pritchett refused to come out the tactical officers sent in the dogs. Pritchett was treated at a local hospital for minor bite wounds.
He was booked as a fugitive in the Lamar County jail.
