The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Ray Lewis’s son turned himself in to police Friday on third-degree criminal sexual conduct, WMBFNews.com reports.
Ray Lewis III, 20, a cornerback at Coastal Carolina University, was accused of sexually assaulting 2 women at an apartment building near the CCU campus in Conway, S.C., the NY Daily news reports.
“The arrest warrant alleges that Lewis did engage in sexual battery with an 18-year-old female with the knowledge that the victim was incapacitated and/or physically helpless from the use of drugs and/or alcohol,” according to documents obtained by WMBF News.
Lewis III was booked Friday morning and released on $10,000 bond after 90 minutes in a holding cell.
Ray Lewis, who won two Super Bowls with the Baltimore Ravens, will forever be tarnished by his arrest in connection with the stabbing deaths of two men near an Atlanta nightclub following the Super Bowl in 2000.
Thanks to his celebrity status Lewis was only found guilty of obstruction of justice, for allegedly disposing of the murder weapon.
