Power couple Steve and Marjorie Harvey deny Internet rumors that they are getting a divorce. The couple apparently learned of their impending divorce while in Louisville attending the Kentucky Derby with friends over the weekend.
According to Radar Online, Steve hurriedly sold off property in his portfolio to prepare for a bitter divorce from Marjorie, his wife of 12 years. But in a video posted by Marjorie on her Instagram page on Friday, both she and Steve expressed surprise that they were divorcing.
Their son, Broderick Steven Harvey, Jr., informed them that he’d just heard they were getting a divorce.
“I heard that, too,” said Steve, turning to face Marjorie, “You leaving me?”
“Were getting a divorce?” Marjorie asked, feigning surprise.
“You leaving me?” Steve repeated. “But if you leaving, when was you gonna tell me?” he said with a straight face. “I didn’t know I was leaving,” said Marjorie. “I just found out I was leaving.”
“They say we broke, too,” Steve added. “We ain’t got no money.”
Steve then asked Marjorie to return her high end clothing and shoes for refunds. “But I already wore it,” Marjorie tells him.
Afterwards, the couple partied with Phaedra Parks, 2nd from left, and Connie Orlando, right, at KFC YUM in Louisville on Friday night.
