Former comedian and Nickelodeon star Kel Mitchell is now an officially licensed pastor after graduating from theology school.
Pastor Mitchell currently serves as youth pastor at Spirit Food Christian Center, a church in Southern California, according to WENN.com.
Mitchell, 41, is best known for his comedy hijinks with sidekick Kenan Thompson on Nickelodeon’s hit 1990s series All That.
They were so popular that Nickelodeon rewarded them with their own TV spin-off, Kenan and Kel.
The guys used their television success as a launching pad for movie fame. In 1997 they starred in the movie Good Burger.
They also appeared together in an episode of Sister, Sister with Tia and Tamera Mowry, four episodes of The Steve Harvey Show, and an episode of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.
The Chicago native has a 2-year-old daughter, Wisdom, with his 2nd wife, Christian rapper Asia Lee (pictured above), whom he married in 2012.
Asia, 41, is stepmother to Mitchell’s two children, Lyric and Allure, by his first wife, Tyisha Hampton, whom he divorced in 2005. Kel and Tyisha are pictured above during happier times in 2004.
