DaBaby vigorously denies slapping multiple women at a nightclub in Tampa, Florida last weekend.
The law firm representing the alleged victim, Tyronesha Laws, claims she is the woman he slapped, but DaBaby’s lawyer says “multiple victims” called the law office claiming to be the woman the rapper slapped.
As cell phone footage shows, DaBaby viciously slapped a woman who accidentally touched his face with her cell phone at the Whiskey North nightclub in Tampa, where the rapper was scheduled to perform last weekend.
Trouble is, the rapper admits slapping “someone,” but he says too many alleged victims are coming out of the woodwork.
DaBaby’s attorney, Drew Findling, tells TMZ, enhanced video shows DaBaby slapping a woman who struck his left eye with what appears to be a phone with the flashlight on — NOT the person standing to the left or the right of the individual shoving the phone in his face.
Tyronesha told TMZ she was standing next to a young lady who reached out with a cell phone — flashlight activated — toward DaBaby right before he allegedly smacked her in the face.
Cell phone footage shows the troubled 28-year-old rapper slapping the person holding the phone — but that person has not come forward.
Findling says his law firm has been contacted by multiple women claiming to be the victim, but they haven’t been able to verify her identity.
DaBaby already apologized to the woman he struck, saying he thought he was hitting a guy in a wig and couldn’t tell the difference because he was blinded by the light in his face.
After the slapping incident, DaBaby was booed off the stage and the show was immediately canceled by club promoters.
