Meagan Good’s ex-husband DeVon Franklin revealed he still has feelings for his ex-wife now that she’s off the market.
All men love a good challenge. But friends say DeVon waited too long to win Meagan back.
A source told PEOPLE that Meagan and Jonathan were good friends “for some time” and they fell in love amid the fallout over his arrest on assault charges earlier this year.
“Meagan has shown considerable support towards [Jonathan],” the insider told PEOPLE.
DeVon expressed his feelings for Meagan during an appearance on The Breakfast Club.
“Does it upset you when you see her out and about with Jonathan Majors?” co-host Charlamagne asked DeVon.
“Upset me? No,” he replied. “She’s happy. That’s a blessing.”
DeVon, 45, told DJ Envy that he’s “doing much better” mentally. “There are nights when I’m crying myself to sleep,” he added.
He told Claudia Jordan that he and Meagan are “still friends” and the love he feels for her has not “gone away.”
DeVon said he doesn’t feel bitterness or hate towards Meagan’s new man.
“Here’s the thing: If that was the case, if I had that perspective, whatever I’m putting out, that’s what’s coming back. So I don’t have any ill will [toward] anyone in that regard ’cause I don’t have any ill will toward myself in that regard. So no, there’s no hate… There are feelings, and… I’ll leave it at that.”
Meagan, 41, separated from DeVon in December 2021 after nine years of marriage. They finalized their divorce in June 2022.
