Kourtney Kardashian and her 11-year-old daughter Penelope are “triggered” by NBA star Tristan Thompson cheating on Khloe Kardashian.
The Kardashians have been criticized in the past for involving their minor children in adult situations on their reality TV series.
During this week’s episode of “The Kardashians”, Kourtney said she is “triggered” by Tristan’s cheating on Khloe (pictured). She said her adolescent daughter feels the same way.
“I feel she gets it from me,” Kourtney said. “I told her the first day of school, I was, like, so triggered by him and I don’t know why, and I was like…”
“You know why,” a producer said to Kourtney.
The pregnant mom-of-4 replied, “Right, I know why, but I was like, I feel like we all brush it off and are fine and I was just so triggered and I was, like, I just can’t do it anymore.”
In a confessional, Kourtney said, “Tristan has made horrible decisions and choices, you know, with my sister… There’s times when I’m so triggered by him I can’t be around him, and then there’s times where I just let it go because we just want harmony and he’s the father of my niece and nephew.”
Tristan, 32, was repeatedly unfaithful to Khloe, 39, while they were together. He fathered a son with a California woman in 2021. The boy was born in December 2021. Tristan also shares daughter True, 5, and 1-year-old son, Tatum, with Khloe.
Tristan and Khloe have settled their differences and she agreed to let him and his disabled brother move into her Calabasas mansion recently.
