Everyone has beef with Oprah Winfrey these days. If you recall, actress Taraji P. Henson fell out with Oprah over an equal pay dispute. Taraji eventually got her money.
Now it seems that actress Kerry Washington has beef with Oprah. Viewers who tuned in to watch the 2024 NAACP Image Awards in Los Angeles saw Kerry appear to snub the 70-year-old media maven.
Video shows Kerry warmly embrace Tyler Perry. She then moved away as Oprah reached out to hug her. Kerry posed with Tyler for a photo op.
Afterwards, Kerry and Tyler chatted while Oprah turned her back on them.
Oprah made one more feeble attempt to connect with Kerry by patting Kerry’s hip. But Kerry never acknowledged Oprah.

It was an awkward moment for Oprah, one of only 7 Black billionaires in the U.S.
Perhaps something happened backstage at the awards show? Or maybe they had beef before the awards. It looked like Tyler was attempting to mediate, which is something he’s very good at.
