A delivery driver for Uber Eats is going viral for taking pictures of her feet to boost tips.
Jade Phoenix, of Los Angeles, is using her best asset to boost tips after she makes food deliveries.
In a post on the social media platform Threads, Jade said her feet pics prompted customers to leave extra tips after their food is delivered.
“I started leaving my feet in the frame of the picture of the food by the door,” she told her followers.
“I’ve seen my tips go up by a lot with people adding extra tips after the drop off!”
She shared several photos of her feet next to bags of food deliveries. One photo shows Jade’s feet clad in white sandals with white pedicured toenails.
Another photo showed her wearing the same sandals next to a grocery bag.
Her post went viral and other food delivery drivers said her strategy paid off for them too.
One driver shared a screenshot of their own tips after taking pictures of their feet.
The screenshot showed a generous $49.69 tip on a $15.99 food delivery.
The driver said the customer significantly increased the tip after the food delivery.
Jade said her feet pics are her new “side hustle” and she shared a QR code for her Venmo account for those who want to see more feet pics.
Someone joked in the comments: “This is not tax advice, but I bet you could write off your pedicures.”
