After a lot of small talk about Carmelo going to New York from Denver, MIss Yee finally got down to business.
When asked if she had "that talk" with her husband about not embarrassing her with NY's ample groupies, Lala said: "I don't have to have that talk. I would hope after almost eight years he has enough respect for me not to do that."
Yee asked Lala if she could accept Carmelo cheating if he did it discretely.
Lala responded, "If he's doing it discretely, do a good job. 'Cause when I find out all hail is gone break loose!"
Then Yee asked the question that we've all been anxious to hear the answer to: "What about that love child?"
But instead of addressing the question openly and honestly, Lala simply laughed it off, saying she wasn't aware of any baby that her hubby spawned outside of their marriage.
"If I knew about a baby... first of all, what kind of woman would it make me to say 'hide your kid?'"
Keyshia Cole headlined the Power Live Presents Keyshia Cole In Concert at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in NYC last night. Prior to stepping onstage, Keyshia appeared on BET's 106 & Park to promote her album, Calling All Hearts. According to BET blog, will give a special musical performance on April 30 during the New York EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women. Good for her!
Young Money artist, Lloyd, performed at the Power Live Presents Keyshia Cole In Concert at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill last night.
Rapper Bow Wow and his BFF, Chris Brown performed live on BET's "106 & Park" yesterday in New York City. Brown's album, F.A.M.E. is in stores today. Please unfollow me on Twitter.com if you have any plans on purchasing that garbage. I want only mature adults following me. Bow Wow's rumored baby mama, @miss_joie, needs to learn a few things about being a mature adult before she gives birth to their baby. Last night, she had a meltdown on Twitter that was brought on by a barrage of insults and offensive tweets by users on Twitter. I am ashamed to say that your auntie joined in on the taunts last night. I regret doing that because @miss_joie is obviously a very emotionally troubled young lady.
According to Bossip (via TerezOwens), NY Knicks star forward Carmelo Anthony had a good reason to want to be traded to New York, he has a love child there.
While I applaud all men who at least acknowledge their out of wedlock children, Carmelo is a dirty dog for doing this to Lala. He knows how insecure she is as evidenced by her increasing dependence on plastic surgery. This will only send her spiraling deeper into depression. Poor thing.
Supposedly there was a hidden reason behind Melo getting shipped to the Knicks…My source tells me that a big perk of his trade to the New York is he can now have more quality time with his side baby, by a woman in the New York area. My Sources say that the child is 11 months old and that when his then girlfriend (now wife) LaLa Vazquez found out about the pregnancy she gave him the ultimatum of marriage or a very messy break up. My source goes on to say…”People don’t even know the half of it. Just because her life is in the limelight, LaLa thinks Carmelo wouldn’t do anything to ruin there image in the public eye…which is not the case. I know for a FACT, he’s not faithful. Melo is a sweet talker and his sex game is on point…I’m not proud of what I did, but I’m not the first and certainly not the last”
It turns out that Shaquille O'Neal's ex-baby mama, Shaunie O'Neal, is just as low down and dirty as Shaq said she was before she ran off with all his money and a much younger man. It's amazing that Shaq had 4 kids with this woman before he realized how ambitious and messy she was. But I digress.
As you know, Miss Jones broke the story about Paige carrying Mr. Ochocinco's fifth baby. Of course denials abounded on Twitter, but Ochocinco, 33, has yet to formally deny the allegations himself. Besides that, Miss Jones has irrefutable proof that I can't share with you guys at this time for legal reasons.
But there's more to this sordid story.
According to Miss Jones, Shaunie, 35, offered Paige an undisclosed sum of cash to be quiet about Ochocinco running all up inside her raw while he was supposed to be planning his nuptials to "Basketball Wives" franchise star, Evelyn Lozada, 41.
But apparently, Shaunie's cash offer wasn't enough, so Paige politely declined. Good for her. If they really want to shut her up they'd better publicly acknowledge her seed. All a pregnant groupie wants is a little respect from her seed donor, who in this case is Chad Ochocinco.
It seems that Shaunie realizes her carefully constructed empire will crumble once the public finds out that Chad and Evelyn are not a real couple -- and that their real goal all along was to have several spin-off shows from "Basketball Wives" so they can all eat cake when it's not even their birthdays.
Though Evelyn and Chad's relationship is a complete sham, I don't doubt that Chad is tapping Evelyn's back every now and then while it's convenient -- and because Evelyn really does have a thing for him, but he's not feeling her like that. Something tells me this story will not end well for all parties involved.
Pop superstar Justin Bieber usually has a team of adults around him to remind him to stop talking in case he says the wrong thing (which is often, I hear).
But his handlers weren't with him when Rolling Stone magazine contributing editor Vanessa Grigoriadis rode around Atlanta in Bieber's Range Rover recently. Grigoriadis was in town to interview Bieber for a cover story, and the impish 16-year-old said exactly what was on his mind, whether it was politically correct or not.
On becoming an American citizen, the Canadian native who makes Atlanta his second home, said: “You guys are evil. Canada’s the best country in the world.”
Bieber also compared America's healthcare system to the free healthcare in Canada:
“We go to the doctor and we don’t need to worry about paying him, but here, your whole life, you’re broke because of medical bills. My [American] bodyguard’s baby was premature, and now he has to pay for it. In Canada, if your baby’s premature, he stays in the hospital as long as he needs to, and then you go home.”
But it's what Bieber said about abortion that has him in hot water with pro-abortion groups, particularly when he implied that rape "happens for a reason."
"I really don't believe in abortion," the teen idol said. "It's like killing a baby?" When asked if he was still adamantly pro-life in cases of rape, his stance didn't really change. "Um. Well, I think that's really sad, but everything happens for a reason," he said. "I don't know how that would be a reason. I guess I haven't been in that position, so I wouldn't be able to judge that."
This seemingly innocent opinion led to many headlines and jeers at Bieber's expense, ridiculing him for implying something as traumatic as rape "happens for a reason." But Grigoriadis, the interviewer, has a different opinion of what Bieber was trying to convey. "I think he meant that God has a plan," she told PopEater. "Even for the most die-hard Christian, it's hard to justify rape as part of God's plan, and harder to justify rape that leads to pregnancy and abortion. I think he was wrestling with that in his answer, which I found to be solid and logical. I think it is being widely misunderstood. He did not say that rape was part of God's plan."
Is rapper Bow Wow aware that a groupie is having his baby?
That's the rumor floating around the blogosphere this week. As rumors go, this one is pretty ridiculous. But some bloggers earn six figures from their gullible readers who will believe anything.
The groupie, named Joie, whom I introduced you to here last June, is indeed pregnant. But she's not confirming -- or denying -- that Bow Wow is her baby daddy. In fact, she's keeping the rumors alive on her Twitter page at least until the real father comes forward.
This past weekend, Bow Wow, real name Shad Moss, 23, was spotted at Atlanta's Compound nightclub partying with his current LSLH flame. Both Bow Wow and his new lady seemed oblivious to all the baby talk that's making the rounds. The two cuddled and made love faces at each other in the VIP all night long. She made sure that everyone in the club knew she was with Bow Weezy.
Bow Wow and his cutie pie girlfriend partied with friends into the wee hours of the morning before leaving the club together. He sure isn't behaving like a man who's about to be a daddy for the first time (that we know of). He's acting more like a man with no worries -- or baby mamas at home.
I wonder what Miss Joie, who lives in LA, thinks about these pictures?
Ziggy Marley, 42, the eldest son of revolutionary reggae legend Bob Marley, welcomed a new addition to his family last week.
According to People.com, Ziggy Marley and his wife Orly Agai Marley welcomed a baby boy, Abraham Selassie Robert Nesta Marley, on Jan. 26 in Los Angeles.
This is the third child for the singer-songwriter and Agai, Marley's manager and wife of more than six years. They also have a 5½-year-old daughter Judah Victoria and a 4-year-old son Gideon Robert Nesta.
Ziggy, whose father was a notorious womanizer, seems to be a good husband and doting dad.
Bob Marley's website acknowledges 10 other children besides Ziggy. Marley died of cancer in 1981.
According to Life & Style magazine, singer Mariah Carey, 42, and her husband Nick Cannon, 30, will soon be proud parents of a boy and a girl. Nick says the twins are due to be delivered in late April or early May.
“Even before we announced it was twins, I was trying to keep everything genderneutral because I didn’t want to impose an identity on them too soon,” says the pop diva. “There were fan contests on Twitter about what gender they are and rumors about them being two boys or two girls—but nobody guessed this!”
Aren't you proud of Mariah for marrying a black man after so much speculation and hype about her denying her blackness?
A supermarket in the heart of the Bible belt has censored the current issue of US Weekly magazine which features Elton John, 63, and his husband, David Furnish, on the cover holding their adopted baby.
John and Furnish entered into a civil partnership 5 years ago. Their son Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John was born on Christmas day to a surrogate mom.
John's untraditional family unit doesn't sit well with the Bible belt folk who still preach family values, even though the Bible belt states leads the nation in divorce and teen pregnancy rates.
A Harps supermarket in Mountain View, Ark., censored an Us Weekly cover featuring Elton John, husband David Furnish and their new baby, Zachary. Deemed inappropriate for "young Harps shoppers," the store placed a "family shield" in front of the magazine.
Twitter user @jennhudd saw the censored cover and began tweeting a photo to celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres, Anderson Cooper and Neil Patrick Harris, asking them to "bring attention" to the store's decision.
The Mountain View Harps responded to a call from PopEater on Wednesday afternoon with a curt "no comment" before hanging up. A call to the corporate office had us placed on hold, redirected and sent to a voice mail when asked for official comment.
According to credible sources, singer Brandy Norwood is pregnant with her 2nd child.
Norwood, 31, already has one daughter, Sy'rai Iman Smith, 7, who is probably thrilled to have a little addition to their household.
This all makes sense when you consider that Brandy's once stellar recording career is now a thing of the past.
Norwood has recently taken up with 27-year-old BET 106 & Park co-host Terrence J., who fancies himself to be an actor. But Terrence can't seem to find any legitimate acting work. So, like Brandy, he too accepts scripted reality TV gigs.
It should come as no surprise that the two of them are now supposedly dating.
Brandy, who recently appeared as a contestant on 'Dancing with the Stars,' is currently featured on the 2nd season of VH1's "Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business," which premiered in December 2010.
Now, word has it that Brandy is in the early stages of her 2nd pregnancy. No one is surprised. But industry insiders are wondering who the daddy is. The baby's sperm donor certainly isn't Terrence who has never had a real girlfriend in his life.
I have been an avid reader of your blog and I even signed up to become a member. I didn't receive any confirmation back but now I see things happen for a reason. Your post on Mrs. Obama's suspected pregnancy this morning did not strike me as surprising. However, your venomous, callous outlook toward President Obama has spewed over onto his wife. Why would you need to post, "I WONDER WHO THE FATHER IS"? That was flagrantly disrespectful and out of line. I know you have your freedoms as a blogger but remember, Mrs. Obama is still First Lady. Have some respect. Everyone knows you're not American. I wonder how come you're not so scathing towards your fellow Brits. Do Americans amuse you? Do better Sandra Rose.
Twitter is abuzz with the startling news that First Lady Michelle Obama is pregnant with her third child. The White House has yet to confirm or deny the rumors. I wonder who's the daddy?
2011 is starting off with a bang as rumors have begun swirling that First Lady Michelle Obama is pregnant. But, reps at the White House have yet to comment on the latest buzz. Could Michelle have gotten the baby bug from friend Mariah Carey who also has a bun in the oven?
Back in early December, when Mariah was busy singing her infamous Christmas carols at the Christmas in Washington special, the singer let it slip that she was expecting twins with husband Nick Cannon. The Obamas were the first to know this detail about her pregnancy.
Now, a month later, it is being reported that Michelle Obama is pregnant. Did she get the baby bug from Ms. Mariah Carey? Only time will tell.
I totally agree with loyal reader S S who writes in to ask "does [Seal have] anger towards black women?" It's quite clear that Seal has unresolved issues by the way he manhandles baby Lou in public. He is never careful with that child. Where in the baby handbook does it say it's okay to pick up a 1-year-old baby by her arm?
Loyal reader S S writes:
I really thought you were being overly critical of Seal and his daughter. I don’t like to accuse people of stuff like that unless I am certain. However, after careful consideration and more than one photograph he seems unusually angry, annoyed, and too aggressive with his handling of her. I don’t see the same aggression attached to his sons. It is disturbing to say the least and the look on his already scary face is heart breaking. Do you think it is because he has anger towards Black women? I sincerely hope he is not mistreating or abusing her. I will pray for that baby. If he treats her roughly she will think it normal when others do it as she gets older. Not fair.
Actress Vivica A. Fox says she is ready to settle down with her young beau, Slimm, a local club promoter who swept the 46-year-old off her feet when they met last year.
"I waited for God to send me a good man, and he's a good Southern man," she said to Wendy Williams during the show's taping in NYC on Wednesday. Slimm sat in the audience and beamed proudly when Vivica hinted that the couple are seriously considering having a baby!
"Is he keeper? Like, do you want to have a baby? Do you want to get married?," asked Wendy.
"Yes. Absoulutely," Vivica responded confidently before turning to the audience and asking, "Don't you guys think it's time for me to have a baby?"
"YEAH!" they responded enthusiastically. Both Vivica and Wendy discussed the challenges of having a baby when you're a woman of a certain age. Vivica confirmed she still has her periods, but she hasn't yet begun testing to see if she's still ovulating.
Awww, I'm so happy for Slimm! He's such a nice guy. A true gentleman.
