The audience score on Rotten Tomatoes is only slighter better at 12%.

Ice Cube stars as Will Radford, a surveillance and threat assessment expert at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Redford leads a team searching for a hacker known as the Disruptor.

Their search is disrupted by a shower of meteors hitting Earth. The “meteors” contain large machines that wreak havoc on humans.

The entire movie is shown through surveillance and cell phone videos on Ice Cube’s computer screen.

LMO wrote, “War of the Worlds is just terrible, in every sense of the word. Ice Cube can’t even seem to drink a coffee convincingly.”

Another reviewer wrote: “I honestly believe an elementary school classroom full of kids shooting on an iPhone could do a better job than what was done in this movie!”

Someone else wrote: “Awful waste of time. I’m thinking they spent about 14 dollars making this.”

War of the Worlds is streaming now on Prime Video.

“Thank you for coming to my wedding. I wish I would’ve got a chance to take pictures with you!” Kendra P. wrote.

Kendra’s friends were not happy that Monica and Anthony co-opted their wedding for a photo shoot.

Others said Mo’ could’ve simply congratulated Kendra P on her wedding day.

Monica would never get married without her children, her mom, and her close friends in attendance.

“The Boy Is Mine” singer and Brandy, 46, recently confirmed they are going on tour this fall.

Sean Combs Denied Bail Again, Will Remain Behind Bars Until Sentencing

Despite a plea from Sean Combs’ ex-girlfriend and alleged victim, a New York judge has denied his forth request for bail.

Judge Arun Subramanian ruled against granting bond for Combs on Monday, according to TMZ. The judge sided with federal prosecutors who asked him to keep the music mogul locked up at MDC Brooklyn jail while he awaits his October 3 sentencing hearing.

Combs, 55, was convicted on 2 misdemeanor counts of transporting his own girlfriends – including Huynh and Cassie Ventura, across state lines for the purpose of prostitution.

He was acquitted on the more serious RICO xes trafficking charges.

In his order, the judge said there were no “exceptional reasons” that justified releasing Combs before his sentence.

Combs’ ex-girlfriend Gina Huynh, also known as “Victim 3” in the federal indictment, wrote a letter to Subramanian pleading for Combs’ release on bond.

Huynh, 33, went missing in May and did not testify against Combs during his 6-week trial.

She identified herself in the letter to the judge in support of Combs being released on bond before his sentencing hearing in October.

Huynh called Combs a good father who has “made visible efforts to become a better person and to address the harm he had caused.”

According to CNN, Combs’ former assistant George Kaplan testified that he saw Combs throwing apples at Huynh in his Star Island home.

However, Huynh said that by the time their relationship ended, Combs had “embodied an energy of love, patience and gentleness that was markedly different from his past behavior.”

Former White House official calls on the feds to investigate the WNBA for violating Caitlin Clark’s civil rights

A former Trump administration official is calling on the federal government to investigate the Women’s National Basketball Association for violating Caitlin Clark‘s civil rights.

Former White House adviser Sean McLean has called on the government to step in and investigate the physical abuse of the league’s top star.

There are rumors that Clark was forced to fake her groin injury so more attention would be focused on the rest of the league.

A viral video of Clark kicking a soccer ball while she’s supposedly injured only added to the speculation that she’s faking her injury.

The league’s TV ratings have plummeted to numbers not seen since 2023 – before Clark was drafted No. 1 in 2024.

There is no timetable for Clark to return to the Indiana Fever starting lineup.

“The league has fostered a hostile workplace for Ms. Clark through excessive fouling, targeting, and hostile comments from other players and owners,” McLean wrote in the Wall Street Journal.

“These aren’t isolated—they’re documented, continuing and ignored by officials. The disparity in treatment invites real scrutiny. Not a single player has been suspended for flagrantly fouling Ms. Clark,” he added.

Former Chicago Sky star Chennedy Carter signed with a Mexican professional league after she was bounced from the WNBA following her brutal hit on Clark last year.

But McLean says the WNBA is not doing enough to protect Clark.

McLean noted that Clark’s treatment is drastically different from any other young athlete entering a professional sports league.

“Ms. Clark’s targeting may reflect a culture of disparate treatment, and the evidence provides reasonable cause for a federal probe into potential civil-rights violations,” McLean wrote.

McLean suggested that Clark should file a civil rights lawsuit against the WNBA similar to the lawsuit filed by Dearica Hamby when she was penalized for taking time off to have children.

“Instead of protecting its transformative star, the league’s leadership ignores the relentless targeting of Ms. Clark, treating its greatest asset as if she were a PR headache,” McLean added. “That approach could turn into a legal liability for the WNBA.”

Candace Owens says Donald Trump asked her to stop saying Brigitte Macron is a man

Podcaster Candace Owens says President Donald Trump asked her to stop saying France’s first lady Brigitte Macron is a man. Brigitte is the wife of France’s President Emmanuel Macron.

The Macrons sued Owens in Delaware for slander after she aired an 8-part series about Brigitte Macron.

Brigitte, 72, has three biological children from her first marriage.

In a new interview with Tucker Carlson, Owens claims that President Trump personally called to ask her to stop making false allegations about Brigitte,

“I was called by Trump in February,” Owens told Carlson in a podcast interview released Friday. She noted that Trump called her after Emmanuel Macron visited the White House in February.

Owens said she first heard from someone “pretty high up” at the White House who warned her to stop talking about Brigitte. Then came the call from President Trump himself.

Owens said she was shocked by the call from Trump.

“Emmanuel Macron personally flew to DC and asked Trump to ask me to shut up – to just stop speaking about his wife,” she told Carlson.

She said Trump sounded “confused” by the request.

“He sounded very confused. He said he was very confused when a leader of the leader of France took him aside during negotiations for Ukraine and Russia to inquire about whether or not he knew Candace Owens,” she said.

Owens said Trump told her, “You must be a very powerful person, Candace.” He added that Owens’ claims were upsetting Macron’s wife.

“She’s old and this is really, really impacting her,” Owens quoted Trump. “I saw her up close and she looks like a woman to me. I had dinner with her at the top of the Eiffel tower,” he told Owens.

Owens said she told Trump she would dial back her claims for a while. But she refused to make a longterm commitment to back off.

Olympic sprinter Christian Coleman refuses to press charges against Olympic gold medalist Sha’Carri Richardson for assaulting him at Washington state’s SeaTac Airport last weekend.

Sha’Carri, 25, was arrested on domestic violence charges on July 27 and released on July 28.

She is accused of shoving Coleman, pushing him multiple times, and throwing headphones at him at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

She was charged with fourth-degree domestic violence and held in jail for more than 18 hours, TMZ reports.

As the news spread online over the weekend, fans wondered what goes on behind closed doors if that’s how she abuses him in public.

But Coleman, 29, rushed to defend his sweetheart. The mild-mannered sprinter said Richardson has “a lot of emotions” trapped inside her.

“She’s a human being, and a great person,” he said. “She has a lot of things going on, a lot of emotions and forces going on inside of her that not only I can’t understand, but nobody can. She’s one of one. And I’m one of one too.”

Coleman’s description of Richardson’s mental state sounds similar to the one given by Richardson’s ex-girlfriend, Jamaican hurdler Janeek Brown.

Richardson accused Brown of domestic violence.

“I was in a relationship with a Jamaican athlete that never cared about me from jump,” Sha’Carri wrote in a social media post in 2022.

“I was abused and stole from yet protected her from the judgment of her country & family while they dragged me,” she added. “I had to deal with homophobic [sic] and so much more that I’m still healing from.”

Brown said in an interview: “I was abusive once that there’s physical evidence of. And we moved on, and even after then I was trying to move on from that, we still got nowhere.”

Outrage: Trump Paves Over White House Rose Garden with Concrete Patio

President Donald Trump loves dinner parties and entertaining guests from all over the world. So he paved over the Rose Garden with a concrete patio so his guests can relax outdoors after dinner.

Paving over the Rose Garden is just one step in Trump’s plans to completely renovate the White House. Also in Trump’s plans is a $200 million golden ballroom to accommodate 650 guests.

The $200 million cost for the golden ballroom will be covered by taxpayers and private donations, according to reports.

Critics took to social media to complain about the Rose Garden being paved over for a “parking lot.”

“This is far worse than what Melania did during his first term,” one person wrote on a female-majority gossip board.

Another person wrote: “These people are trying to just make everything sad. He could have done this idea but made it more colorful.”

A third person wrote: “That’s where he’s burying those Epstein files.”

But others saw the benefit in paving over the Rose Garden.

“Making America great! He’s cutting costs,” one Trump supporter wrote.

Another Trump supporter added: “This is better for the environment. Save water!”

Sean Combs’ Ex Gina Huynh Writes Letter to Judge Pleading for His Release On Bail

Sean Combs’ ex-girlfriend Gina Huynh, also known as “Victim 3” in the federal indictment, wrote a letter to U.S. District Court Judge Arun Subramanian pleading for Combs’ release on bond.

Huynh, 33, went missing in May and did not testify against Combs during his 6-week trial.

She identified herself in the letter to the judge in support of Combs being released on bond before his sentencing hearing in October.

Combs, 55, was convicted on 2 misdemeanor counts of transporting his own girlfriends – including Huynh and Cassie Ventura, across state lines for the purpose of prostitution.

He was acquitted on the more serious RICO xes trafficking charges.

Huynh’s message was included in a letter sent to the judge by Combs’ legal team on Sunday.

In her letter, Huynh insisted Combs was not a danger to the public and that he’s a changed man who “has not been violent for many years.”

Huynh’s letter disputed the government’s allegation that Combs was violent toward her.

“I am writing because I do not view Mr. Combs as a danger to me or to the community,” she wrote. “This is his first criminal case. Throughout the investigation and proceedings he has been cooperative, respectful and compliant. He has substantial ties to his family and community, including children who depend on him for emotional and financial support. Granting him bond would allow him to continue caring for his family and fulfilling his responsibilities while still subject to the Court’s supervision.”

The judge may not be swayed by Huynh’s letter since he has shown bias toward Combs by holding him in jail for months while others who committed similar crimes are free on bond.
