Wendy Williams called into ABC’s “The View” to discuss her recent visit to a psychiatric hospital.

Wendy said she received an independent psychological evaluation and had blood drawn for thyroid function tests.

“But most importantly… it was my choice to get an independent evaluation on my incapacitation, which I don’t have it,” Wendy told the ladies on The View.

“You sound Ok to me,” said Joy Behar.

“How dare they say I have incapacitation. I do not!” Wendy said emphatically.

Co-host Ana Navarro (2nd from right) asked Wendy about her niece Alex Finnie sneaking her out of an assisted living facility on Wednesday. Wendy has lived at the $18,000 a month facility for 8 months.

Wendy explained how she got out of the facility – with help from her niece, Alex, and “the boyfriend” who flew in from Miami.

She said she left the facility “with permission from the guardian, of course.”

However, the guardian filed a police report with the NYPD accusing Alex of kidnapping her auntie.

The former talk show host said, when they returned to the Coterie, they stopped and posed for the paparazzi. “That’s what I do – I stopped, I posed…”

Wendy said two staffers, who should have been off duty, were still downstairs “like they’re waiting for me, and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, what is about to happen?’ It is a locked unit, like, they have to use keys – the people who work here – to open it so we can take the elevator downstairs. I am not permitted to do anything but stay on this floor – the memory unit floor where the people are 90, and 80, and 70.”

“Look, I’m 60 and I don’t even know what a memory unit… why am I here where people don’t remember anything? You know what I’m saying? So I stay in the bedroom the majority of the time,” Wendy continued. “I never go out to eat with them. You know, I stay in the bedroom.”

Wendy said she is not allowed to have friends, such as her advocate Ginalisa Monterroso, come to visit her.

Co-host Sunny Hostin told Wendy that her guardian’s lawyer issued a statement denying her claims that she is being kept from her family. The lawyer added that Wendy is receiving “excellent medical care.”

Sunny asked Wendy how she’s keeping her spirits up when she can’t do something she really loved to do (hosting her own talk show).

“I am a college educated woman,” Wendy replied, “I’ve been doing important things all of my life… and these 2 people don’t look like me, they don’t dress like me, they don’t talk like me, they don’t act like me. And I venture to say, they will never BE me.”

Wendy added that she was referring to her guardian and the judge. “I need a new guardian and then I’ll get out of [guardianship],” she said.

According to friends, Wendy has a history of noncompliance with her medications over the years.

Psychosis in patients with dementia includes symptoms such as hallucinations, paranoid delusions, depression, anxiety, and more.

Friends say Wendy is where she needs to be – at an assisted living facility for her own safety and well-being.

Singer Normani and NFL star DK Metcalf Are Off the Market

On Thursday, NFL wide receiver, DK Metcalf, signed a $100 million deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

At the signing, DK announced that he and pop star Normani were engaged. The Steelers shared photos of a smiling Normani with DK after he signed his contract.

DK’s deal with the Steelers possibly reunites him with his former Seahawks teammate Russell Wilson.

Russell is rumored to have urged the Steelers to sign DK after he asked to be traded from the Seahawks last week.

According to reports, the Steelers aren’t willing to pay Russell $38 million a year on a contract extension.

Russell is set to meet with the NY Giants on Friday, March 14, about the starting quarterback position.

But the 37-year-old father-of-3 might be convinced to settle for less money from the Steelers since DK will be his teammate.

Russell and DK are close like brothers. Russ and his wife, pop star Ciara reportedly played matchmaker for DK and Normani.

During an interview with Apple Music in June 2024, Normani explained how she and DK first met.

“We actually met through Ciara and Russ,” Normani said. “It’s like, if you could trust a couple [to set you up], that would be the couple.”

Normani said Ciara invited her to a party – and she wouldn’t take no for an answer.

“[Ciara] was really adamant about coming [to the party],” Normani recalled. “I just knew it was something else because she was very adamant, and when I was on the way, she was like, ‘Oh yeah, your boy’s gonna be there.'”

Rich and Powerful Men Who Visited ‘High-Class Brothel’ in D.C. Will Be Named and Shamed Today

Twelve rich and powerful men who who were clients of a discreet high-class brothel will be named and shamed in court on Friday, March 14.

The twelve men are due to appear before a probable cause hearing in Cambridge, Massachusetts, at 10 a.m. Friday to determine whether they should face charges.

The men include high-level government employees and contractors, public officials, military officers, doctors, and CEOs.

A total of 28 alleged johns will appear in court over the next 2 weeks, the Boston Globe reports.

Some of the johns lawyered up and sought to keep the hearings closed to the public to conceal their identities. They claimed they had a right to privacy.

All of the johns face misdemeanor charges and none of the men have been arrested.

The accused men face a charge of paying for sex, which is unlikely to result in prison time if they’re convicted.

The men reportedly patronized an exclusive brothel ring that operated out of six luxury apartments in Cambridge and Watertown, Massachusetts, as well as Washington, DC’s suburbs.

Federal prosecutors filed charges against the brothel operators because the $600-an-hour prostitutes who worked at the brothel were exploited.

The brothels were raided in late 2023, according to the Boston Globe.

Millions of dollars in cash and stacks of gift cards that were used as payments were among the items seized when the brothels were raided by feds.

Men who paid for the services of one of the sex workers had to provide extensive documentation to verify their identities.

Many of the clients are married and some hold high positions within the U.S. government.

Not all of the johns will be named and shamed in open court. Their identities are being withheld for national security reasons.

Monthly memberships were also available to men who became regular visitors to the brothels.

Three pimps who ran the prostitution ring have already confessed to their crimes.

Four of the brothels were run out of luxury apartment buildings in the suburbs of Boston.

Another 2 brothels were run out of luxury apartment buildings on the Washington DC-Virginia border.

Multiple media outlets challenged requests to hold the hearings in private. The Massachusetts’ State Supreme Court previously ruled the hearings should be held publicly.

However, advocates for the prostitutes say naming the men will scare others into not paying for sex and lower the demand for sex workers, many of whom are trafficked and sometimes killed.

Michelle Obama’s podcast with her brother Craig Robinson debuted to low numbers this week.

Mrs. Obama and Robinson launched their video podcast, titled IMO, on Monday, promising weekly episodes. IMO is short for “In My Opinion.”

The first two episodes of IMO drew just 4,000 views, but viewership increased to 13,000 views by Thursday.

Popular conservative blogger Benny Johnson tweeted: “Michelle Obama’s first couple podcast episodes absolutely flopped not even getting a combined 20,000 views in the 15 hours after posting. The comments filled with people saying ‘nobody asked for this.'”

Another person tweeted: “Were You One of the 25K That Listened?”

Michelle and Craig discussed his divorce and Michelle’s discomfort being the first-ever Black first lady in the White House.

Michelle told her brother that she wouldn’t have “gotten through” eight years in the White House without her “big brother” to motivate her.

Michelle told the audience that no one in the family “banked on” Barack Obama becoming president.

“‘That’s another sort of unusual aspect to our lives. Our relationship was this whole, you know, being married to the president of the United States thing, that that none of us kind of banked on, I mean we knew Barack was smart and you know ambitious, but, you know, I think – but you talked me into supporting his run,” Michelle explained.

Michelle, 61, added that Craig, 62, was the one who convinced her to support her husband’s first run for president.

“[Barack] was smart enough to know that he needed to come to you and sell you on the idea,” Michelle told Craig.

“Because I was definitely like, no, no way, this is crazy. We’ve done enough crazy stuff.”

Michelle also talked about Barack’s habit of always procrastinating and not being on time.

Barack had to adjust to what on time was… you know, I’ve got this husband who, when it’s time to leave, he’s getting up and going to the bathroom,” Michelle explained.

“And I was like, dude, like 3 three o’clock departure means you’ve done all that,” she said. “It’s like, don’t start looking for your glasses, you know, at the 3:00 departure.”

“He’s improved over 30 years of marriage,” she joked.

@imopodcasts Welcome to IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson. Episodes 1 and 2 premiere tomorrow on YouTube or wherever you get your podcasts. #michelleobama #craigrobinson #podcast ? original sound – IMO Podcast

President Trump plans to eliminate income tax for anyone earning below $150,000 a year

If you bring home less than $150,000 a year in salary you may not have to pay income tax on your earnings.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick says President Donald Trump’s goal is to eliminate income tax for workers earning less than $150,000 a year.

“When the president balances the budget, his first move is going to be – he has suggested that he would like to waive taxes for people under $150,000. That’s aspirational – that when we balance the budget – and let me tell you, he’s got a plan to balance this budget,” Lutnick said in an interview with Fox News.

Lutnick said Trump will make his no tax plan possible by eliminating a trillion dollars in wasteful government spending.

Trump also plans to distribute $5,000 refund checks to 150 million Americans, as well as end taxes on tips, overtime, and on social security payments for seniors who continue to work.

Trump campaigned on abolishing the IRS, but he would have to push his plan through Congress first.

An easier goal would be to end taxes for people earning less than $150,000 a year. That would include seniors, high school students, and low income wage earners.

X users celebrated Lutnick’s comments and praised Trump, calling his tax plan a “great move” and “amazing”.

Wendy Williams is back in her $18,000 a month apartment at an assisted living facility in New York after an unauthorized night out with her niece.

In photos exclusively obtained by Page Six, the former TV talk show host is seen wearing a plush Versace bathrobe as she waves to the paparazzi outside her 5th floor window on Thursday.

Wendy, 60, appeared in good spirits despite referring to the Coterie facility in Lenox Hill as “a luxury prison.”

Wendy wore a bright pink Versace robe, while peeking out a large window in her apartment and flashing a big smile.

On Wednesday, the Coterie facility called NYPD and filed a police report claiming Wendy’s niece Alex Finney evaded staff by sneaking Wendy out of the building.

Wendy is not allowed to leave the 5th floor memory unit without the staff’s permission.

BACKGRID

In 2022, Wendy was placed in a guardianship after Wells Fargo froze her bank accounts and expressed concerns that a family member was making large withdrawals and taking advantage of her diminished mental capacity.

Wendy is due to appear on ABC’s “The View” on Friday, March 14, in her first return to TV since a controversial documentary aired on Lifetime Network.

Raymond Hall/GC Images

On Monday, Wendy called police to escort her from the facility where she has lived for 8 months. Video obtained by TMZ showed cops loading Wendy into an ambulance.

She was whisked to a psychiatric hospital, where she reportedly scored a perfect 10/10 on 2 psych examinations.

Wendy has been battling claims that she’s suffering from degenerative frontotemporal dementia and progressive aphasia.

However, Wendy’s friends say the medication she’s taking for dementia allows her to think clearly. They fear that she will deteriorate mentally if she stops taking her medications.

Friends say she has a history of noncompliance with her medicine when she is not in the facility.

Tesla Cybertrucks vandalized all over the country: ‘You’re hurting people that work for a living’ (Video)

People are spray painting, egging, and setting fire to Tesla Cybertrucks nationwide.

The vandalism has gotten so out of hand that Cybertruck owners are leaving their vehicles at home and taking Uber or Lyft to work.

The vandalism is triggered by frustration over Tesla founder Elon Musk‘s policies. Musk is an unelected official who heads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) that seeks to eliminate wasteful government spending.

Musk’s DOGE has laid off thousands of government workers as part of a massive reduction in the federal workforce.

A Cybertruck owner shared photos of the vandalism to his vehicle.

“For one, you’re hurting people that work a 9-5 job. I’ve worked very hard for this truck. This was my pride and joy,” the owner, who asked to remain anonymous, told KING 5. “You’re not hurting Elon; I already purchased the truck. You’re hurting people that work for a living…”

Four Tesla Cybertrucks were set on fire in Seattle on Sunday. Elsewhere, Cybertrucks are intentionally damaged amid nationwide protests against Musk.

Videos on X, which is owned by Musk, shows a Cybertruck that was egged and smeared with dog poop on a Brooklyn street.

Last week, 7 Tesla charging stations near Boston were deliberately torched beyond repair. On Saturday, protesters gathered outside a Tesla showroom in Manhattan’s West Village, shouting, “Nobody voted for Elon Musk!” At least six protesters were arrested.

Some owners are taking precautions by covering the Tesla logos on their trucks with logos from other vehicles. The disguise seems to be working, since those trucks are left undamaged.

During an event at the White House on Tuesday, President Donald Trump said vandalizing Cybertrucks and other Tesla vehicles is now a federal offense punishable by jail time and or a fine.

Trump warned that anyone vandalizing the electric vehicles would “go through hell.”‘

“You do it to Tesla, and you do it to any company, we’re going to catch you, and you’re going to go through hell,’ Trump said.

Trump told Musk, “You know, Elon, I don’t like what’s happening to you, and Tesla’s a great company.”

Trump purchased a red Tesla Model-S sedan for himself, while urging his supporters to buy Tesla vehicles. Trump noted that presidents are not allowed to drive for safety reasons.

A fleet of Tesla vehicles were parked outside the White House for the event.

Sales of Tesla vehicles have declined by more than 50% worldwide. And Tesla’s stock is also taking a beating in the stock market.

The stock price plunged to $240 on Thursday, March 13, from a high of $472 earlier this year.

In related news, a federal judge ordered Trump to rehire thousands of probationary workers who were fired by DOGE from 6 federal agencies.

High school track runner claims evidence proves she didn’t attack opponent with baton (Video)

A Virginia track runner is facing an assault and battery charge after hitting another runner in the head with a baton during a track meet.

The incident happened during an indoor track championship in Virginia over the weekend.

Brookville High junior Kaelen Tucker, 16, was running the second leg of a girls 4×400 meter relay final when she breezed past 17-year-old Alaila Everett from IC Norcom High School.

In shocking video, Alaila is seen raising her arm and bashing Kaelen on the back of the head with her baton. Kaelen lost her balance and stumbled off the track.

Alaila and her high school were disqualified by race officials for “contact interference”.

In an interview on ABC, Alaila claims she has new footage that proves she is innocent.

Alaila claims Kaelen drifted into her lane and the victim’s arm hit her baton.

“Her arm was literally hitting the baton until she got a little ahead, and my arm got stuck like this,” Alaila said while raising her arm in a reenactment. “I would never do that on purpose. That’s not in my character.”

However, the video her family provided to ABC’s “Good Morning America” doesn’t show the initial head strike with the baton. The video begins after the initial hit.

Another X user posted a different angle showing the first strike on Kaelen’s head with the baton.

During a previous interview, Alaila cried while blasting Kaelen Tucker for only thinking about her concussion injury, and not thinking about Alaila’s “mental” health.

Alaila said she has received death threats since video of the incident went viral.

Alaila’s father, Genoa Cost, also appeared on “Good Morning America.” He said Kaelen’s family took out a restraining order on his daughter.

“We will continue to uplift and support our child to the upmost. We as a community will continue to fight for her,” Genoa said.

“The truth will be exposed in due time and God’s timing is always perfect. Unity for Alaila,” he added.

One X user wrote, “Her doubling down on her “innocence” is just making it worse.”

Everyone grieves differently, but the mom of a slain 5-year-old Texas girl is facing backlash for celebrating at a balloon release party for her late daughter.

Texas rapper G$ Lil Ronnie, real name Ronnie Sibley, and his daughter R’mani Sibley were fatally shot on March 3 at the Slappy’s Express Car Wash in Forest Hill, Texas.

2 men have since been arrested and charged with capital murder in their deaths.

Now the Internet is dragging R’mani’s mom, Shamon Jones, for turning up at a balloon release in Fort Worth on Wednesday night.

In cell phone video, Jones is seen holding stacks of cash and dancing while her security guard stood nearby armed with an assault rifle.

“Security all day!” someone behind the camera yelled. The person added, “Yeah blog this, ho!”

Jones then held up a Louis Vuitton cross body bag. “Yeah, yeah,” she said to the camera while dancing to rap music.

Jones previously lashed out at bloggers for circulating the murder video and for criticizing the way she grieves for her daughter.

“Anybody sharing that video of my babies last moments you will be blocked!! Y’all are my Facebook friends I don’t want that image of them in my head I’m trying so hard not too spazz on you mfrs,” she wrote in an emotional post on Facebook.

In an earlier video, Jones admitted, “I ain’t gon’ lie, I grieve a little different.”

Some X users sympathized with Jones.

One person wrote: “I know grief is kicking her behind and if it didn’t hit yet it’s going to, she is distracting herself and being ‘strong.'”

Another person wrote: “She gonna need the most counseling in about 3 years when the feelin randomly hits her.”

A third person commented: “I know she’s grieving but be a lady.”
