An assisted living facility in New York has filed charges accusing Wendy Williams‘ niece of kidnapping the former talk show host.

On Wednesday, the luxury assisted living facility where Wendy lives filed a police report after she left the grounds with her niece.

Sources tell TMZ that Wendy’s niece, Alex Finnie, took Wendy out to an Italian restaurant for dinner on Wednesday.

According to sources close to Wendy, the Coterie facility called NYPD and filed a police report claiming Alex evaded staff by sneaking Wendy out of the building.

Wendy is not allowed to leave the 5th floor memory unit without the staff’s permission.

TMZ was told that an attendant actually accompanied Wendy and Alex down to the lobby and opened the door of their Uber for them to get in.

Sources say Wendy allegedly has a history of noncompliance with her medications when she’s not in a facility.

The medications stabilize the chemicals in Wendy’s brain so she can be alert and oriented and think clearly.

When she’s not taking her meds, Wendy’s dementia worsens – and she becomes a danger to herself.

By locking her inside the facility, Wendy will receive her psychiatric meds and she will be safe.

The turn of events comes as a New York judge expressed annoyance at Wendy’s behavior.

TMZ reviewed an email that Judge Lisa Sokoloff fired off to Wendy’s lawyer. The judge referenced a prior hearing in which she ordered that Wendy be moved to a new facility.

Apparently Wendy’s lawyer fired back saying it would be wrong to move her to an even more restrictive facility than where she is right now.

The judge wrote in the email: “I have always contended that [Wendy] will be given the independence she can handle. I question how well she has handled the independence she has been given.”

Multiple sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ that the judge is upset that Wendy has been speaking to the media and complaining about her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey.

Wendy called police on Monday asking them to escort her out of the Coterie facility, which she called a “luxury prison.”

Video obtained by TMZ shows the cops loading Wendy into an ambulance. She was transported to a New York area psychiatric hospital where she reportedly score 10/10 on 2 psych exams.

A lawyer for Wendy’s court ordered-guardian, Morrissey, issued a statement saying Wendy is not being isolated from her family.

In a cease and desist letter to TMZ, the law firm said Wendy can call her family and visit them anytime.

Former En Vogue lead singer Dawn Robinson revealed she’s been living in her car for the past three years. But the 56-year-old Sagittarius says her living arrangement is by choice.

Dawn was a founding member of En Vogue, the Grammy-nominated group that also consisted of singers Terry Ellis, Cindy Herron, and Maxine Jones.

The platinum-selling group is best known for their No. 2 hit singles “Hold On” and “My Lovin’ (You’re Never Gonna Get It)”, as well as the top 10 hits “Giving Him Something He Can Feel” and “Free Your Mind”.

Dawn also performed as the lead singer of Lucy Pearl before leaving to go solo.

En Vogue continues to tour, but Dawn has fallen on hard times since leaving the group twice to go solo.

In a video on YouTube, Dawn revealed she has been living in her car for three years. She added, it is her decision to make her car her permanent home after living with her mom in 2020.

Dawn admitted she isn’t easy to live with. Dawn said her mother’s “anger” was the reason behind her decision to leave live in her vehicle.

“That was wonderful until it wasn’t. I love my mom, but she became very angry,” she explained. “A lot of her anger, she was taking out on me. I was her target all the time and I was like, ‘I can’t deal with this.'”

The singer turned to her then-manager, who initially said he had room for her, but he didn’t. Dawn relied on him to find her an apartment, but he refused to look at the places she picked out.

“Then when I got to his place, he actually didn’t have room for me,” she said, adding that she ended up checking into a hotel and staying there for 8 months.

During that time, she began researching “car life” and discovered it was doable.

“I loved what I was seeing. I just thought, ‘Wow I can do that. I can do this,'” she said.

Dawn admitted that her current living arrangement allows her to be “free.”

“I felt like, ‘Wow, this is so different.’ I felt like I was on a camping trip,” she said, adding that she showers at a local fitness center.

Dawn also stunned the Internet when she revealed many celebrities are sleeping in their cars, but she didn’t say any names.

Men on social media offered to put her up for the night – or longer term if she would hit them up in the DM.

But Dawn said she’s not looking for sympathy or hand outs from her fans.

“Like I said, I’m learning about who I am. I’m learning myself as a person (and) as a woman,” she said.

Detroit Lions CB Terrion Arnold Was Upset After Getting Stuck With $100K Dinner Bill

Detroit Lions defensive back Terrion Arnold was upset after getting stuck with a massive 6-figure dinner bill.

Arnold, 21, was forced to pay $80,000 plus a service fee and tip for the team’s rookie dinner recently.

On his Instagram Story, Arnold posted a photo of the outrageous dinner bill he received at the Sexy Steak restaurant in Detroit.

Arnold explained he got stuck paying the ridiculous restaurant bill for the Lions’ traditional “rookie dinner” event. The group of 20 players dined on succulent steak, chicken, fish, fresh noodles, potatoes and all the fixings. The bill also included insanely expensive bottles of wine.

Arnold’s receipt shows that he paid $80,000 for the group of 20, plus a massive 22-percent service fee, and $4,800 in taxes. That brought the total bill to $104,200.

The amount is a drop in the bucket for Arnold. His four-year contract with the Lions is worth $14.3 million, and his 2024 base salary was $795,000.

Arnold’s NIL deal was worth a hefty $813,000 when he played at Alabama.

If Arnold steps up big as a cornerback next season, he could demand a contract worth over $100 million.

Here’s what X users had to say about the massive dinner bill.

“Damn he just paid my car off onna ‘service fee.'”

“$17k Tip is wild.”

“That’s so dumb why would anyone pay that much for food?”

“On god we all going to jail because I ain’t paying that shit.”

“Their menu items aren’t even that expensive. Why are they charging a flat rate of $4,000 per player?”

“It’s a real place. I thought it was a strip club but it’s an upscale restaurant/venue. Absolutely possible at $5k per player.”

Halle Berry says women should celebrate menopause with a ‘shiesta’

Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry says menopause is a milestone in a woman’s life that should be celebrated with a “shiesta.”

During an appearance on Tamsen Fadal’s new podcast, “The Tamsen Show,” Halle, 58, said she’s officially entering menopause this month.

Menopause is defined as a time in a woman’s life when menstruation permanently ends.

Halle is celebrating the milestone with a “shiesta,” she told the former PIX11 anchor-turned-menopause advocate, Tamsen Fadal.

“When a woman realizes that she’s in the menopause — you know, 365 days [without a period], and you know you’re in it — it is their duty to give that woman a ‘shiesta’ to celebrate her, like we do every other milestone in our life,” Halle said.

Halle, who also has diabetes, revealed that she controls her diabetes with diet and exercise, and she was able to wean herself off insulin and oral medication.

Halle believed healthy living would allow her to skip menopause. “I thought I would skip menopause, whatever that was,” she half-jokingly told Fadal.

BACKGRID

“There was a feeling of, ‘Hey, I can do pretty much anything I want to do if I eat right and exercise, and prioritize my health and well-being,” she explained.

Former PIX11 anchor Tamsen Fadal gave up her coveted job to help educate women about menopause.

Fadal told Page Six last year that she quit her job after 15 years at the anchor desk at New York’s PIX11.

“It wasn’t that I couldn’t do my job anymore,” Fadal said, “but I had a bigger story to tell. I couldn’t stop talking about it. I couldn’t stop studying it. I couldn’t stop talking to women about it.”

Fadal wrote a book about her menopause experience, titled “How to Menopause: Take Charge of Your Health, Reclaim Your Life, and Feel Even Better than Before.” The book is due in stores on March 25.

Halle received an advanced copy and described the book as “the menopause Bible” in a post on Instagram.

“You will no longer feel alone by being 100% seen. It’s also full of ways to begin managing this new glorious phase of life!” Halle wrote.

Judge is tired of Wendy Williams’ shenanigans – wants her moved to another facility

The judge in Wendy Williams‘ guardianship case is tired of her shenanigans. As you know, Wendy called police to escort her out of an assisted living facility on Monday.

Video obtained by TMZ shows Wendy being loaded into an ambulance outside the facility. She was transported to a psych hospital where she scored 10/10 on 2 psychological exams.

The former talk show host previously complained that she was being held prisoner at the facility. She argued that she couldn’t speak with friends or family on the phone and she wasn’t allowed to receive visitors.

But Wendy’s legal guardian denied the allegations in a letter to TMZ from a law firm threatening a lawsuit. The lawyer repping Wendy’s guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, claims some of the media coverage by TMZ is “untrue, inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading.”

The lawyer says Wendy can call her family and see them whenever she wants. Morrissey notes that Wendy traveled twice to Florida to visit family.

But Wendy claims the judge actually turned down the last visit — for her dad’s birthday — and reversed that decision after TMZ‘s documentary, “Saving Wendy,” aired on Tubi.

The judge presiding over Wendy’s case is annoyed by Wendy’s manipulative behavior.

TMZ reviewed an email that Judge Lisa Sokoloff fired off to Wendy’s lawyer – and the judge is tired of the former talk show host’s manipulations. The judge references a prior hearing in which she ordered that Wendy be moved to a new facility.

BACKGRid

Apparently Wendy’s lawyer fired back saying it would be wrong to move her to an even more restrictive facility than where she is right now — a residential facility called Coterie.

The judge wrote in the email: “I have always contended that [Wendy] will be given the independence she can handle. I question how well she has handled the independence she has been given.”

Multiple sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ that the judge is upset that Wendy has been speaking to the media and complaining about her guardian, the guardianship and the facility she’s in, which she calls a “luxury prison.”

According to TMZ, the judge has repeatedly warned Wendy not to speak to the media.

Recently, Wendy dropped a note from her window to paparazzi taking pictures of her outside. The note read “Help Wendy!”

RHOA’s Porsha Williams Claims Stake in Simon Guobadia’s $7 Million Mansion

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams made a bold move to stake her claim on estranged husband Simon Guobadia‘s $7 million mansion in Atlanta.

Simon, 60, is currently locked up in an immigration detention center in Lumpkin, Georgia on an immigration hold for being in the U.S. illegally.

Simon will be locked up for months or even years while his immigration case winds its way through the court system. He may wind up being deported.

Meanwhile, Porsha, 42, is sitting lovely in Simon’s mansion while he sits in jail. An Atlanta judge gave Porsha permission to live in the mansion for three years – as stipulated in her prenup that she signed.

But Simon wants her out of his mansion. He even offered to pay for her to live somewhere else, but she refused.

Now Simon is trying to sell the house as a private listing.

According to StraightfromtheA.com, Porsha’s attorney filed a “Lis Pendens” at the courthouse to stop a potential sale of the house.

A Lis Pendens is a legal document that advises banks and potential buyers that another party has a pending lawsuit on the property.

Porsha filed the document 2 days before Simon was picked up by immigration officials as he arrived at Atlanta airport on a flight from Dubai to attend a hearing about the prenup.

Via StraightfromtheA.com:

For those unfamiliar, a Lis Pendens isn’t exactly a lien, but it does make things messy for any potential buyers or lenders. It’s often used in divorce cases to prevent assets from being moved around before everything is settled in court.

The real tea? This filing happened mere days before Simon’s unexpected detention by ICE, which only adds fuel to speculation that Porsha may have played a role in tipping off authorities. Coincidence? You decide.

The 5-bedroom, eight-bathroom, 15,284-square-foot estate has been a major point of contention in the couple’s messy divorce. Purchased solely by Simon in 2021, the home is technically his — at least on paper. However, Porsha has made it clear she isn’t moving without a fight.

Former first lady Michelle Obama discussed the “gray area of marriage” and divorce in a new podcast she launched with her brother Craig Robinson on Wednesday, March 12.

Michelle and Craig debuted their podcast called “IMO With Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson.” IMO is an acronym for “in my opinion.”

In an early review of the podcast, the New York Times said the siblings candidly discuss life, divorce, relationships and personal experiences.

In the podcast’s trailer, Michelle said she believes in the power of vulnerability and openness. She says that by being real about life’s struggles, people can feel less alone and more equipped to handle life.

Michelle made headlines when her husband, former President Barack Obama showed up at former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral without her.

She was also absent when Barack attended President Donald Trump’s inauguration in January.

And Barack appeared solo at a recent NBA game at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

Rumor has it that Michelle and Barack’s divorce is imminent because he has been secretly dating former “Friends” star Jennifer Aniston.

Jennifer denied the rumor, but Barack has not said a word publicly in his defense.

The podcast, produced by the Obamas’ Higher Ground, will feature weekly guests including Seth Rogen, Keke Palmer, Tyler Perry and Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky.

Rapper Lil Yachty says Black Lives Matter was a scam during a cooking show with Internet comedienne Quenlin Blackwell.

During their friendly banter, Quenlin, 24, asked the 27-year-old Atlanta native about his charitable donations to organizations such as Black Lives Matter.

“BLM is a scam,” Yachty said. “BLM was a, it was literally a scam. They had bought mansions and – you probably wouldn’t know anything about it because you don’t care about Black people,” the rapper told Quenlin.

“I do care about Black people. Look at my chocolate,” said Quenlin, referring to her skin complexion.

“I think I’m literally the most pro-Black person in this room,” she added.

“Because you have an all-white staff?” Yachty asked, while pointing to the people behind the camera.

“They’re not white – they’re [people of color],” she replied.

“And I’m gay,” someone behind the camera said.

“I, too, have a gay,” Yachty responded, referring to a staffer on his team.

Patrisse Cullors, co-founder of Black Lives Matter, is accused of using public donations to purchase a $6 million mansion and other property in California.

West Virginia coach bans dancing on TikTok: ‘It ain’t the image of our program I want’

West Virginia football coach Rich Rodriguez has banned his team from posting dancing videos on TikTok.

“We try to have a hard edge, whatever. And you’re in there in your tights, dancing on TikTok. It ain’t quite the image of our program I want,” Rodriguez told reporters on Monday.

Andrew Wevers/Getty Images

Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter often posts dance videos on TikTok. The former Colorado football star received over 1 million ‘likes’ on a video that showed him dancing with his Heisman trophy.

But Rodriguez says dancing on TikTok is far from the masculine image he wants for his players.

“I told the team today, everything today is about trying to make people individual,” Rodriguez said. “It’s all about the individual. Football is one of the last things that’s more about the team than the individual. I banned dancing on TikTok, I guess I did that. Anything that doesn’t look like what our program should look like.”

The TikTok video streaming app is popular among adolescents, teens and young adults. TikTok videos set trends and can make or break songs.

Rodriguez says he’s not banning TikTok, he’s just asking his players to focus on winning football games – not dancing.

“In 20 years if they want to be in the basement in their pajamas eating Cheetos and watching TikTok then go at it,” Rodriguez said. “Smoking cannabis? Whatever. Knock yourself out. But I hope your focus can be on winning football games. How about let’s win the football games and not worry about winning the TikTok.”

A funeral and celebration of life will be held for iconic Neo-Soul singer Angie Stone this weekend. The family announced funeral plans in a post on Instagram this week.

Stone, 63, died on March 1 when a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van she was riding in lost control and overturned on a highway in Alabama.

The singer’s celebration of life is set to take place on Friday, March 14, in Austell, Ga. Then a traditional funeral will be held on Saturday in Columbia, South Carolina.

In a recent video, Stone’s daughter, Diamond Stone explained why she shared her Cash App online following her mother’s tragic death.

Diamond defended sharing her Cash App after GoFundMe shut down a fake page that raised over $12,000.

She expressed frustration when Stone’s fans questioned why she needed the money.

“I posted my Cash App today because people were asking where they could send money to us because of all the scams and all the things that’s been going on,” Diamond said.

“I posted my Cash App. If you wanna donate, donate. If you don’t, don’t. All that negative – ‘Where her money at? Why she doing this?’ It don’t f***ing matter why I’m doing it,” she added.

“Some of y’all have no respect for the dead of their family,” Diamond said. “Some of y’all have no idea what we going through. So, I’m saying this one time and one time only: if you don’t wanna send no f***ing money, keep yo’ nasty as* comments to yo’ self, ’cause now ain’t the time nor the place. And anybody who know me know I go 10 toes about mine.”

In 2015, Angie Stone was arrested for assaulting Diamond and knocking her front teeth out during a fight in their Atlanta area home.

Angie shared Diamond with her ex-husband, Rodney Stone. She also had a 27-year-old son, Michael Archer, with soul singer D’Angelo.
