Egg Prices Plunge Nearly $2 – Lower Than When Trump Took Office

You’ll be happy to know that egg prices have dropped nearly $2 since President Donald Trump took office in January.

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins broke the news on Tuesday morning.

“A good piece of news we just got in the last day or two is that the average cost of a dozen eggs has now gone down a dollar and eighty-five cents,” Rollins told reporters at the White House.

Late last month, Rollins announced that the Department of Agriculture would spend $1 billion to curb the spread of the bird influenza, which has caused havoc in the poultry industry.

Trump’s critics blamed him when the price of eggs didn’t drop in the 2 months since he took office.

The Trump administration worked hard to bring the price of eggs down by taking measures such as importing 1 million eggs from foreign countries.

At a local Publix in Gwinnett County, the price of a dozen white eggs was $4.19 last week. Today it is even lower – just $3.29 for a dozen white eggs.

The stars of CBS’s hit soap opera “Beyond the Gates” removed their wigs for a portrait to celebrate natural hairstyles during Black History Month.

Daphnée Duplaix, Tamara Tunie, and Karla Mosley took off their wigs and joined the social movement of Black women who celebrate their natural hair.

In the video below, Dani (Karla Mosley) is arrested for pulling a gun at Bill and Hayley’s wedding.

The natural hair movement is a movement that encourages people of African descent to embrace their natural, afro-textured hair – especially in the workplace.

The movement originated in the United States during the 1960s, and resurged in popularity in the 2000s.

The first natural hair movement on record started in the 1960s. It was known as the “Black is Beautiful” movement.

The movement was about embracing the beauty of our skin tones, facial features, and our glorious crowns.

Today the movement is being kept alive by young Black women on college campuses who love their natural hair.

Natural hairstyles are versatile and beautiful. They include braids, locs, bantu knots, twists, and afros.

The CROWN Act was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives in March 2022. The CROWN Act extends civil rights protections to natural hairstyles worn in the workplace.

The legislation was passed after sales representatives like Imani Jackson and news anchors like Brittany Noble-Jones were terminated from their jobs for wearing their natural hair in the workplace.

Friends fear Wendy Williams will fall off the wagon if she leaves assisted living facility

Wendy Williams’ friends and family fear for her health and well-being if she is allowed to leave an assisted living facility.

Nurses at the facility monitor Wendy’s mental status and make sure she’s compliant with her medications. But, most importantly, the nurses make sure she doesn’t drink alcohol.

Wendy, 60, was transported to a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation on Monday after she begged police to help her leave the assisted living facility.

She got her wish — a trip to the hospital, where she received perfect scores on two psychiatric exams.

On “The Breakfast Club,” Wendy was joined by her caregiver, Ginalisa Monterroso, who said she called police and asked them to escort the former talk show host out of the assisted-living facility.

Ginalisa said she pushed Wendy to request an independent medical evaluation while at the hospital. The facility had initially sent a nurse to keep an eye on her, which Ginalisa refused.

In a video clip, obtained by TMZ, Wendy is seen walking with two police officers on Monday morning.

Once at Lenox Hill Hospital, doctors gave Wendy two psychiatric evaluation tests, which she passed with flying colors.

But friends say Wendy passed the exams because she’s on medications that stabilize chemicals in her brain. The medications allow her to think clearly.

Friends fear Wendy will stop taking her medicine and start drinking again if she is released from the facility.

Without her medications, Wendy will relapse and her erratic behavior will make headlines again.

Wendy is expected to appear as a guest on ABC’s “The View” on Friday, March 14.

Rihanna rocked her flared jeans with a leather aviator jacket with a fur shawl, Fendi monogram handbag, and Amina Muaddi knee high snakeskin boots (retail $1,820).

Rihanna, 37, hid her baby belly under the oversized jacket. Sources say she isn’t ready to announce her third pregnancy yet.

Joy Taylor returned to the set of FS1’s sports show “Speak” following a 2-week suspension on Monday. Front Office Sports confirmed a report from The Athletic that Taylor had been allowed to return.

Earlier reports claimed Taylor was fired for posting a risqué photo that showed her biting a corn cob in a sexually suggestive manner.

Taylor, 38, wore a revealing pink top with a plunging neckline that exposed her cleavage. She matched the top with pink satin pants.

“It’s good to be here” she told television viewers. Then she asked her co-hosts — Keyshawn Johnson, Paul Pierce, and Michael Irvin how they were doing. “Better now,” Irvin answered, as everyone giggled.

Irvin, Pierce, and Johnson shared hosting duties in Taylor’s absence.

Married men on a manosphere board celebrated Taylor’s return to the show.

One fan wrote: “Ms peanut butter skin is back from her vacation.”

Another fan wrote: “My baby is back! Just stop fu#kin your co workers.”

A third person wrote simply, “My god.”

Front Office Sports previously reported that Taylor had been “sidelined” by the network. There was also a report that she was fired.

Taylor, Skip Bayless, and FS1 boss Charlie Dixon were named in a lawsuit by former FS1 hairstylist Noushin Faraji. Dixon was placed on leave from FS1 after he was named in a second lawsuit by former on-air personality Julie Stewart-Binks, according to The Athletic.

Noushin accused Bayless and Taylor of creating a toxic environment on the set. Both Bayless and Taylor denied the allegations.

A judge denied Fox News’ request to dismiss the case, suggesting that Noushin has enough evidence to win her lawsuit. Fox’s motion to move the case to a federal court also failed, meaning the Los Angeles Superior Court will continue to hold jurisdiction over the case.

Fans of coaching legend Bill Belichick are concerned for his health as he begins his new gig as head football coach at the University of North Carolina.

Belichick, 72, and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, 24, recently attended the UNC-Duke men’s basketball game in Chapel Hill.

Cell phone video shows the elderly coach holding hands with the much younger woman as they headed to the Dean Smith Center for the game on March 8.

Belichick seemed off balance and unsteady on his feet while Hudson held his hand and guided him.

The coach turned around to chat with NFL legend Lawrence Taylor walking behind him.

Some TikTok users joked that Hudson wore out Belichick in the bedroom.

One person wrote on X: “I know that walk, young thing wore his a$$ out last night.”

Others said the video proves Belichick may not be strong enough to coach the Tar Heels football team this season.

One medical student offered a physical assessment on X, writing, “Looks like a bad hip, back, and knee walk to me.”

Another fan suggested the long walk across the campus was the likely cause of Belichick’s unsteady gait.

The person said even “20-somethings” would struggle to walk the campus. However, Hudson, Taylor and the others in the video seem to be handling the walk just fine. Only Belichick is struggling.

A third fan said the former New England Patriots head coach is just “old af.”

“Time for a hip replacement Peepaw,” someone else commented on X.

Others said Hudson looked more like Belichick’s “nurse” than his girlfriend.

Someone else suggested Hudson is cheating on the geriatric coach.

“Calling it now. It will all go left when he finds a UNC football player in [Hudson’s] contacts,” the fan wrote.

Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) hopped on TikTok to share a video confirming a TikTok account is really hers.

“I just wanted to jump on really quickly – first of all to say thank you. My staff is really excited that we are over a million. So for everyone that was trying to figure out if this is my actual account – it is,” Crockett said.

Crockett went on to say she has 2 official accounts on TikTok.

An X (Twitter) user uploaded an old photo of Crockett that shows her noticeably darker skin complexion.

“She must have the ‘Cake Soap’ filter on her phone. Because her skin looks a lot lighter,” the user wrote.

X users agreed that Jasmin’s newly-lightened skin and light eyes don’t align with her “Sista Girl” image.

One person wrote: “That skin lightening self hatred sends a bad message to younger girls looking at this idiot as accomplished.”

Another person wrote: “@JasmineForUS is so tone deaf she doesn’t realize she is turning off serious voters who want better for their families & communities.”

A third person commented: “Ion know what private school she went to, but they must have had a class on eye lashes and cake soap because she got straight A’s in that.”

City workers in Washington, DC have begun removing the iconic Black Lives Matter mural to transform Black Lives Matter Plaza into Liberty Plaza.

The work began on Monday, March 10, and is expected to be completed in 6-8 weeks.

The mural is being removed under pressure from President Donald Trump and Republican lawmakers.

The mural became a symbol of unity against racism and police brutality in the wake of George Floyd’s death on May 25, 2020 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The area near the White House was officially renamed Black Lives Matter Plaza in 2020.

The mural’s removal was announced on DC Mayor Muriel Bowser’s X account. She said that the removal is part of D.C.’s America 250 mural project, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.

The giant bold yellow mural was originally painted along 2 city blocks on 16th Street in 2020 to protest police brutality and racism. The DC mural was removed once before in 2021 for a construction project. But it was soon repainted.

The District Department of Transportation said the project will take 6-8 weeks to complete.

“DDOT will closely coordinate with local stakeholders to ensure a smooth process, and we appreciate the public’s patience as we work to enhance this important corridor,” DDOT said in a press release.

Republican Andrew Clyde introduced legislation last week to withhold federal funding until DC removed the mural. Mayor Bowser announced that the mural would be removed in a post on X.

“The mural inspired millions of people and helped our city through a very painful period,” Bowser wrote. “But now we can’t afford to be distracted by meaningless congressional interference.”

A similar mural was painted in the street outside Trump Tower in New York City by then-Mayor Bill de Blasio and his wife Chirlane McCray, along with other city officials in 2020.

One of his male followers slid into his comments asking for tips on how to secure a celebrity baby mama.

According to the Urban Dictionary, “Keep it P” could mean keep it player, keep it pimpin’ — or in this case, keep her pregnant.

Women were outraged at the idea of a bum knocking up Skai to secure his financial future.

One person wrote on X: “So instead of bettering himself for his alleged child, this man is out here giving tutorials on being a professional baby daddy??”

Another person wrote: “Yerky Yerky being more focused on ‘keeping it P’ than keeping a job is insane behavior.”

A third person pleaded with Skai to take him to court for child support – even though he doesn’t have a job.

The fan wrote, “Sis, get that child support in order and keep it moving. Don’t let this clown bring you down.”

Savannah Chrisley says Chloe is her sister – not her niece: ‘Chloe has not had an easy upbringing’

Reality TV star Savannah Chrisley says it’s “infuriating” when people refer to her sister Chloe Chrisley as her niece.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Savannah said her parents adopted her brother’s child, Chloe, which makes Chloe her sister.

“My heart, honestly, breaks for Chloe because she has not had an easy upbringing. Her biological parents turned their backs on her from a very young age,” Savannah, 27, told PEOPLE exclusively. “When my parents got custody of her, her biological father [was] completely out of the picture [and] mother [was] out of the picture. That was their choice.”

When Todd and Julie Chrisley were incarcerated for bank fraud, Savannah took custody of Chloe, 12, and her brother Grayson, 18.

Savannah’s other siblings include Chloe’s father Kyle, 33, Lindsie, 35, and Chase, 28.

Kyle fathered Chloe with his ex Angela Johnson, who gave up her parental rights.

Savannah cringes at comments saying Chloe is her niece.

“It’s just infuriating because people want to use race to cause this huge divide,” she says, noting that fans need to “do your research” and “know the full story.”

“Her mother gave her away,” said Savannah, pictured with Chloe and Grayson. “It wasn’t like my parents went out here and said, ‘Hey, I want a sixth child. We’re in the latter part of our life and we want a sixth child.’ No, they took Chloe because they loved her and they wanted to save her from a very bad situation. They wanted to give her the best life possible.”

“When Chloe looks at me, she’s like, ‘That’s my sister.’ When people look at my dad and say, ‘Well, that’s Chloe’s grandpa.’ Chloe’s like, ‘Why do they keep saying that?'” Savannah continues. “So, when people make these public comments, they always want to put titles on things. When in reality, all they’re doing is hurting her. They’re hurting the child.”

Savannah added: “[Chloe] hates it when people say, ‘Oh, that’s your aunt,’ or, ‘That’s your grandpa.’ Because that’s not what she identifies with. And a child psychologist said, ‘If she calls you mom, that’s because you make her feel the love of a mother. You show up like a mom does. You show up like a dad does. So, if that’s what she identifies with, let her call you that.'”
