The couple shared posts on Instagram of the joyful moment when Eric popped the question.

“God truly blessed us with a love that feels like destiny. We couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter ????. Special thank you to everyone who made this moment so beautiful!!”
In the video, Eric walked Jasmin into a room that was covered in white rose petals and lined with bouquets of white and light pink roses and lit candles.
As they walked down the rose-petal-covered aisle, the pair stood in front of a red heart before Eric pulled out a diamond ring and asked Jasmin to marry him.
In an appearance on Big Boy TV, Martin said Eddie told him to foot the bill for the wedding because Eddie has paid for the last six of his kids’ weddings. Eddie reportedly said it’s Martin’s turn to pay for a wedding. But Martin is financially strapped.
Martin reacts to his daughter and Eddie Murphy's son's recent engagement and reveals he’s paying for the wedding because Eddie Murphy said since he’s already paid for the last six of his kids’ weddings, it’s Martin’s turn to pay for this one.
Eddie, who is a dad to 10 children, shares Eric with ex-girlfriend Paulette McNeely, while Martin shares Jasmin with his first ex-wife, Patricia Southall.
In June 2022, the “Martin” alum, 59, joked he was going to “try” to get Murphy, 63, to pay for their kids’ future wedding.
Comedian Steve Harvey was dragged to kingdom come after he revealed his secret to a long, happy marriage in a recently resurfaced video.
During a 2022 appearance on “The Talk,” the 67-year-old comedian told men to “keep your damn mouth shut” if they want their marriages to survive more than 15 years like his.
"Keep your damn mouth shut."
Steve Harvey shares advice on how to make a marriage last.
Steve and his third wife, Marjorie, 60, were wed in 2007. Marjorie Bridges has three grown children and Steve has four adult children in their blended family.
His advice to men to keep their mouths shut and let their wives do the talking didn’t go over well with today’s Gen Z social media users.
One person wrote: “How many failed marriages this man had? I’m not tryna hear nothing from him.”
Another person wrote, “It took Steve 3 marriages to start giving advice… and this the guy I’m supposed to listen to when I’m still on my first marriage 20yrs and counting.”

A third X user wrote: “He just told the whole world who wears the pants in that household and the divine order doesn’t matter to him.”
Steve Harvey's advice to 'keep your damn mouth shut' might seem humorous or even practical in some situations, it's actually a concerning and unhealthy approach to relationships. A successful marriage or partnership is built on mutual respect, trust, and open communication.
And you a fool if this is advice you’d take, or actually follow just bc of who it’s coming from-STOP listening to these people you’ve never met a day in your life ! ?
Im sure its my generation, but i wont. If i am with someone that wont let me express myself, especially if i dont like something, then they aint the one. Now theres times ill hold my tongue cause i understand im in the wrong on it and would just be lashing out.
Meghan Markle showed off her mostly makeup-free face at the Paley Honors Falls Gala for Tyler Perry on Wednesday Dec. 4 in Beverly Hills.
The 43-year-old ex “Suits” actress supported a teary-eyed Tyler Perry as he was recognized for his filmmaking achievements and philanthropy.
According to Vanity Fair, the fresh-faced beauty, 43, wore a glamorous strapless black gown by Oscar de la Renta and a $36,000 diamond tennis necklace and a gold Cartier bracelet. Unfortunately, it seems Meghan lost one of her diamond earrings. Meghan wore her jet black hair in an elegant updo.

Meghan applied a thin layer of lipstick but left the rest of her face untouched. You can count Meghan’s freckles in this close-up shot.
The Duchess of Sussex arrived at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel’s massive ballroom and strolled down the red carpet until she spotted the billionaire media mogul. She giggled and rushed over to Tyler, clapping her hands before greeting Perry with a long hug. Then the good friends posed for photos together.

Tyler is Godfather to Meghan and Prince Harry’s 3-year-old daughter Lilibet.
Meghan sat next to Tyler and supported him throughout the evening. He choked back tears as Oprah Winfrey delivered a powerful speech about his “ginormous spirit” in fulfilling dreams for strangers and overcoming severe physical abuse by his father and sexual abuse by several adults in his community.
“He took his pain and his trauma and transformed that into art, into humor, and into hope,” Oprah told the audience. “He made people feel seen and feel they matter — and that is the secret and the power of Tyler Perry’s success.”
Country singer Oliver Anthony ripped into Beyoncé‘s Cowboy Carter album, calling it “complete trash.”
The “Rich Men North of Richmond” singer claimed he was urged to give Cowboy Carter a good review, but “It makes me just want to throw up.”
Anthony shared his thoughts in a YouTube video titled “What I’ve Learned from the Music Industry So Far…”
Anthony said rapper Gucci Mane tried to sign him after his 2023 viral success with “Rich Men North of Richmond”. But he went with different management.
Anthony said one member of his new management team tried to get him to give Beyoncé’s album a good review.
He said, “‘We gotta figure out how to make you cool.’ And one of the guys I worked with, he wanted me to make some stupid f*cking post about Beyoncé’s country album, about how it was good, even though it was complete trash. It makes me just want to throw up.”
Anthony said he was particularly offended by Beyoncé’s rendition of the Dolly Parton classic, “Jolene,” claiming he couldn’t even listen to the entire song.

“It’s just total cringe,” he said about the tune. “It represents how degenerative our society has become, that a song like a Beyoncé’s version of ‘Jolene’ can come out and anybody actually listen to it and think it’s not just complete f*cking trash.”
Anthony claimed his management had hopes of them doing some kind of song together. He suggested those kinds of requests happen all the time, because music industry executives are more concerned with profit than true talent.
Anthony also discussed record labels paying to artificially boost songs like Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”
The country singer explained the psychological manipulation behind campaigns to artificially boost certain artists up the charts while talented artists are ignored.
“How many people do that?” Anthony continued. “It’s so much theatrics and illusion and characterizations that are built into this whole thing to like keep people hanging on for more. And God, if it’s that bad in music, it’s gotta be bad in everything.”

Beyoncé and Shaboozey (pictured) were snubbed by major country music awards shows in 2024.
Country music fans accused Beyoncé and Shaboozey of cultural appropriation. One country music fan wrote: “Imagine if a country singer made a rap album and submitted it for a BET Award in the rap category. Black people would all be outraged.”
UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was separated from his wife for years when he was fatally shot outside a Manhattan hotel on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
Thompson and his estranged wife, Paulette, lived in separate homes about a mile from each other, the Wall Street Journal reported. Thompson purchased the $1 million home where Paulette and their 2 sons live in suburban Maple Grove, Minnesota.
Minnesota police investigated a bomb threat at Brian Thompson’s home just 12 hours before he was executed in NYC.
Paulette, a practicing physical therapist, revealed on Wednesday that her husband had previously received threats. When asked about a possible motive, she told a reporter it may have been due to a “lack of [healthcare] coverage.”
Police say the suspect arrived in NYC on a Greyhound bus from Atlanta, Georgia on November 24 around 9 p.m. Investigators are reviewing video surveillance from Greyhound bus stations in Atlanta and NYC.
The suspect used a stolen New Jersey ID to register a room at a NYC hostel on the Upper West Side on Nov. 24. He roomed with 2 other men on the 4th floor, according to reports.
NYPD
On Thursday, the NYPD released photos of the suspect flirting with a desk clerk in the lobby of the NYC hostel. The desk clerk convinced him to pull down his facemask so she could see his smile.
He checked out of the hostel about an hour before the shooting. Police executed a search warrant in the room at the hostel.
The suspect was seen on surveillance footage outside the hostel around 5 a.m. on Wednesday. He was also seen outside a nearby housing project carrying an e-bike battery.
Video footage shows the suspect exiting the subway and walking toward the Hilton hotel on West 54th Street near the Avenue of the Americas.
He arrived at the location about 10 minutes before the shooting. His movements suggest he knew what time Thompson would arrive at the Hilton and which door he would use.
Thompson was fatally shot outside the Hilton Hotel just after 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
The suspect approached Thompson from behind and shot him in the back and leg. The gunman then fled the scene on an e-bike.
Google Maps
Google Maps shows the spot outside the Hilton where Thompson took his last breath.
The NYPD released video that shows the suspect leaving Central Park on a black e-bike just after 7 a.m. Wednesday.
JUST IN: Minnesota police investigated a bomb threat at Brian Thompson's home just 12 hours before he was executed in NYC.
The development comes as investigators have zeroed in on a gun store in Connecticut where they suspect Thompson's k*ller purchased the gun.
Thousands of UHC consumers on social media vented their anger at the insurance giant for denying their claims. A post on a subreddit for doctors on Reddit.com was deleted by moderators due to hundreds of posts celebrating Thompson’s murder.
Some doctors expressed their frustration with UHC for denying claims to maximize profits for the company’s shareholders.
One doctor posted a letter written by an oncologist who was outraged that UnitedHealthcare denied anti-nausea medication for a child receiving chemotherapy to treat cancer.
Former FBI supervisor Robert D’Amico said the motive for Thompson’s murder was likely a personal vendetta against UnitedHealthcare.
UnitedHealth reported a profit of nearly $400 billion in 2023. For 2025, the company expects revenue to be between $450 billion and $455 billion.
Thompson earned $10 million annually as UHC CEO. He received a $20 million bonus in 2023.
Police say the suspect wrote the words “defend,” “deny,” and “depose” on three shell casings left at the scene of the shooting.
The message is similar to a book on insurance companies refusing to pay claims titled, “Delay, Deny, Defend.”
The book’s subtitle is, “Why insurance companies don’t pay claims and what you can do about it.”
The NYPD offered a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
Fans of Hailey Welch, also known as “Hawk Tuah girl” lost their life savings on her latest attempt to cash in on her 15 minutes of fame.
Hailey launched her Hawk Tuah ($HAWK) meme coin on the Solana blockchain on Wednesday. Within 24 hours of the launch on Dec. 4, the Hawk Tuah coin crashed 94% from a value of about $500 million to around $29 million.
Hailey’s fans are outraged and they’re demanding refunds. They note that Hailey promised Fortune magazine that her coin launch “is not a cash grab” or a rug pull.
A “rug pull” is a crypto scam where the memecoin developer pulls the rug out from under investors by running off with all their funds.
That’s what Haailey’s fans say she did to them. One fan said she lost $35,000 of her savings in the scam. She is threatening a lawsuit if her money isn’t refunded.
“Hi @HaileyWelchX, my $35,000 that I purchased of $Hawk is now $2,000,” the fan wrote on Bluesky. “I purchased your $Hawk that you were so excited about with my life savings and my children’s college education fund as well. You didn’t mention that you were going to buy 97% of the supply and sell it almost immediately to make a large profit.”
Another investor lost over $1.3 million buying the Hawk Tuah coin. Others took to social media to report they lost their life savings as well.
A law firm urged investors who lost money to call his office.
Hailey went viral in June when YouTube duo “Tim & Dee TV” approached her outside a bar and asked, “What’s one move in bed that makes a man go crazy every time?”
Hailey I’m not even kidding when I say this, you are most likely going to prison
The English Football Association (FA) will again speak with Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi to remind him about uniform regulations. But Guehi will not face a suspension after writing “I love Jesus” and “Jesus loves you” on his rainbow armbands.
Guehi, the team captain, repeatedly defied rules when he wrote the religious phrases on his rainbow armbands during a Premier League campaign celebrating LGBTQ+ inclusion.
Guehi wore a rainbow-colored captain’s armband against Newcastle on Saturday, Nov. 30, with the message “I love Jesus.” He again wrote a religious message on his armband in a match between Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town on Tuesday, Dec. 3. He scrawled the message “Jesus loves you” on his rainbow armband in that game.
The rule governing team uniforms states: “The appearance on, or incorporation in, any item of clothing, football boots or other equipment of any distasteful, threatening, abusive, indecent, insulting, discriminatory or otherwise ethically or morally offensive message, or any political or religious message, is prohibited. The advertising of tobacco products is prohibited.”
After the Ipswich match, football fans swarmed Guehi’s Instagram page with mixed reactions. Guehi took to his Instagram and wrote: “Jesus [loves] you. Stay blessed.”
Guehi’s father John, a church minister, insisted his son “didn’t offend anyone” and that it “isn’t fair he should be singled out just for showing his religious beliefs.”
John said Marc’s blessings include people in the LGBTQ+ community.

The New York City Police Department released surveillance images of the suspect wanted in the shooting death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
Thompson, 50, was shot and killed outside the Hilton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan just after 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
The suspect approached Thompson from behind and shot him in the back and leg. The gunman then ran across the street and hid in an alleyway before fleeing the scene on an e-bike. The suspect discarded a cell phone in the alley.
Police also recovered a water bottle and candy wrapper at the scene of the shooting which they believe are linked to the gunman. Fingerprint and DNA analysis were conducted on the items, law enforcement sources told ABC News.
Police executed a search warrant at a location in New York City where they believe the suspect may have been staying, sources told ABC News.
Police analyzed surveillance footage around New York City and captured footage of the suspect at 5 a.m. outside Frederick Douglass Houses, a public housing project on the Upper West Side. The footage showed the suspect carrying what appeared to be an e-bike battery.
On Thursday morning NBC 4 New York reported the suspect wrote the messages “defend,” “deny,” and “depose” on three shell casings left at the scene.
The message is similar to a book on insurance companies refusing to pay claims titled, “Delay, Deny, Defend.”
The book’s subtitle is, “Why insurance companies don’t pay claims and what you can do about it.”
UnitedHealthcare has the highest claim denial rates in the entire health insurance industry at 32%.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry flew across the country to attend an event in New York City on Wednesday, December 4.
Harry was disappointed that news got out about his apparent split from his wife. “Apparently we’ve bought or moved house 10, 12 times,” he told journalist Andrew Ross Sorkin. “We’ve apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it’s just like, what?” Harry said.
When asked why he and Meghan were attending events separately, Harry told Sorkin, “Because you invited me, you should have known!”
