Denzel Washington clarifies ‘Gladiator’ kiss after director said it never happened

Denzel Washington clarified his same-sex kiss in “Gladiator II” after director Ridley Scott said it never happened.

If you recall, Washington said he kissed an actor in the film, but the scenes ended up on the cutting room floor.

“I actually kissed a man in the film but they took it out, they cut it. I think they got chicken. I kissed a guy full on the lips and I guess they weren’t ready for that yet,” he told Gayety magazine, according to Variety.

Black women were surprised that Washington kissed a male actor when he refused to kiss Julia Roberts out of respect for his marriage.

But Washington walked back his comments after director Ridley Scott said the ghey kiss never happened.

The Oscar-winning actor said the public’s reaction to his ghey kiss was “much ado about nothing.”

“They’re making more of it than it was. I kissed him on his hands, I gave him a peck and I killed him,” Washington said at a Hollywood premiere.

Fans argue that this is another example of gay for pay — straight people using the LGBTQ+ community for clout.

Judge in Sean Combs’ case orders prosecutors to destroy notes seized in illegal search of his cell

Sean Combs won a legal victory when a judge ordered prosecutors to destroy notes seized during an illegal search of his jail cell.

Judge Arun Subramanian ordered prosecutors to destroy 20 pages of legal notes seized during a raid of Combs’ cell at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn last month.

Subramanian said the notes or even excerpts from the notes cannot be used in any form in an upcoming bail hearing for Combs on Friday, Nov. 22.

Combs is expected to be released on $50 million bond during his third bail hearing following his arrest at a Manhattan hotel on Sept. 16. He is awaiting trial on federal sëx trafficking and racketeering charges.

WENN

In a nearly 90-minute hearing on Tuesday, Combs’ legal team argued that the notes were covered by attorney-client privilege. They suggested that prosecutors seized the notes because they don’t have a solid case against the music mogul.

Sources believe Combs was arrested and jailed without bond to convince his A-list pals to support Democratic candidate Kamala Harris during the election.

However, despite Harris paying millions of dollars to A-list celebrities, she lost the election in a landslide to President-elect Donald Trump on Nov. 5.

Trump is expected to pardon Combs if the rapper is convicted at his trial in May 2025.

Former NFL star Ryan Clark called out NBA rookie Bronny James for refusing to travel with the Lakers G-League team South Bay Lakers.

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst said Bronny is “only going to play in the South Bay Lakers’ home games. He’s only going to kind of be a part-time G League player, and he’s not getting on United Airlines to fly to these road games.”

Bronny made his G-League debut earlier this month. He scored 6 points in the South Bay Lakers’ 110-96 win against Salt Lake City.

But Bronny scored 4 points in a 122-127 loss in his second game, as his parents LeBron and Savannah James looked on.

ESPN analyst Ryan Clark said Bronny should play in the G-League to develop his skills.

“What Has Bronny James Earned?,” Clark tweeted. “What has Bronny James done where he should be too good to fly commercial?,” Clark said during his podcast “The Pivot”.

“If I’m Bronny James… I’m begging [agent] Rich Paul, I’m begging [Lakers coach] JJ Redick, I’m begging my father [LeBron James], ‘Please let me travel with this team… Please let me go somewhere where I’ma get up more than six shots in three games, to not only prove it to my organization that I’m worthy of being on this team, but to my damn self,'” Clark explained.

“You don’t get treated differently because of your parents. You get treated differently because of your ability to contribute,” he added.

Seattle sushi restaurants forced to shut down over TikTok food critic review

A chain of sushi restaurants in Seattle shut down after a TikTok food critic gave them a bad review.

Fans of TikTok personality Keith Lee claim they saw something moving in the raw sushi he ate at the Fob Sushi Bar.

“It’s not the freshest sushi I’ve ever had,” he said, adding that the rice was “overcooked” and “gummy.”

At the 1:50 mark in the video, something wiggled on a piece of sushi before Lee ate it.

Lee’s followers told him about the critter he’d just eaten. They flooded the restaurant’s social media pages with angry comments.

The management at Fob Sushi responded with a post on Instagram, calling the claims “false”.

“[W]e follow strict FDA and HACCP standards to ensure the highest quality and safety in every dish,” the management wrote. They said the movement seen in the video is due to “natural elasticity in the fish — not worms.” The restaurant was last inspected by the local health department in January and no issues were found.

In a response video, Lee said, “It did appear that something moved,” but he didn’t see it before he ate it. He said that he cannot “confirm or deny” what it was, but he suffered no ill effects from eating whatever it was. He claimed that one of his followers went there the next day and that individual ended up in the hospital.

“For the restaurant to post a statement indicating that me holding the sushi or me holding the chopsticks a certain way is why the sushi moved — I personally don’t agree with it,” Lee said.

“Because I’ve had sushi a thousand times, and I’ve held sushi a thousand different ways, and never once have I seen sushi behaving that way.”

On Monday, November 18, Fob Sushi Bar announced that it was closing its locations in Bellevue, where Lee ate, and Seattle “until further notice.” The restaurant said it is conducting a “thorough investigation” into what happened and how to prevent it from happening again.

Now dozens of employees are out of work at the family-owned and operated restaurants.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a suspect who fatally shot a woman inside her wrecked car in South Los Angeles.

Police responded to a 911 call about a car wreck on the 2000 block of Century Boulevard near Wilton Place at 12:46 a.m. Sunday.

Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered a woman had been shot inside her Mercedes-Benz which crashed into a concrete foundation. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police later identified the dead woman as Lanai Dees of Los Angeles. KTLA video shows a white Mercedes-Benz that was cordoned off by police tape in an alleyway.

“[The LAPD officers] observed a deceased female suffering a gunshot wound [who was] seated in a vehicle that had collided with a concrete foundation,” deputies said. “Investigators learned a traffic collision with injuries was originally reported to LAPD… when officers and the L.A. City Fire Department arrived on scene, they observed the victim in the drivers’ seat of the vehicle which had crashed into a concrete foundation in the alley.”

Dees’ brother Jordan Dees said she was in South LA visiting a friend. “She was an amazing person,” said Jordan Dees. “She was very sweet and very kind.”

Jordan said his sister was shot multiple times after her car crashed. He believes the shooter was a passenger in the car who fled the scene.

“We just know that she knew someone over here, and next thing you know, she got killed,” Jordan said. “She was in her car, so we don’t even know what happened… the car is wrecked and she was shot.”

“She didn’t deserve what happened to her at all,” he said through tears. “Please help. Please call the police, call me if you know me… if you know anything, please don’t stay silent, because we have to get the person that did this. We have to.”

Kim Kardashian Bonds with Her $30K Tesla Optimus Robot (Video)

Kim Kardashian is the first American citizen to take delivery of her own Tesla Optimus robot. On Monday, Kim shared cute videos to her Instagram Story and X (Twitter) that showed her bonding with her new $30,000 robot.

In one video, the SKIMS founder and Optimus Bot joined hands to make the heart symbol.

In a caption Kim wrote, “meet my new friend,” as they made the heart gesture with their hands and the bot showed off some dance moves. The robot even mimicked jogging after Kim asked it what it would like to do next.

Kim also shared a look at Tesla’s new Cyber Cab – a sedan version of their Cyber Truck that can drive itself.

The Optimus Bot made its debut during Tesla’s “We, Robot” event in October, where the robots interacted with attendees such as rapper 2 Chainz, who placed an order for his own robot on the spot. It was later revealed that the robot was remotely controlled and his voice was provided by a Tesla employee using a headset and microphone.

X users compared Optimus Bot to the robots seen in the 2004 Sci-Fi thriller I, Robot starring Will Smith. The resemblance sparked some controversy online. The film’s director, Alex Proyas, called out Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, and his design choices on X. “Hey Elon [Musk], can I have my designs back please?” he wrote, referencing the similarities between the Optimus Bot and his movie’s CGI robots.

Prosecutors: Note Seized From Sean Combs’ Jail Cell Proves He Paid Off Kalenna Harper

The feds claim that Sean “Puffy” Combs paid off former Diddy Dirty Money group member Kalenna Harper before he was indicted in New York. The information came from legal notes seized from Combs’ jail cell during a recent raid at MDC Brooklyn. The notes suggested Harper was paid for making a public statement on Combs’ behalf.

Julien Hekimian/WireImage

Federal prosecutors claim they found evidence to support their allegations that Combs used fellow inmates to contact his victims and witnesses. Harper (right) denied allegations made by ex-band member Dawn Richard (left) in a lawsuit filed by Richard against Combs in September.

WENN

Dawn Richard, formerly of Danity Kane, accused Combs of sëxually assaulting and harassing her.

Richard accused Combs of years of abuse and mistreatment when she was his bandmate. She also alleges Combs psychologically terrorized her over the years.

WENN

But Harper (left) came forward to say she never witnessed any abuse inflicted by Combs on Richard (right).

Court documents reveal that a note seized from Combs’ jail cell could prove he paid off a key witness (Harper), referred to as “Witness 2.” Prosecutors claim Combs reconnected with the witness, who was once “part of his inner circle” after she was mentioned in a lawsuit filed against him. They claim the witness’ Sept.13 Instagram post, came coincidently after their renewed contact.
