British actress and singer Cynthia Erivo stopped by “The View” to promote her new movie, “Wicked” in New York City on Thursday. Video shows Cynthia walking briskly toward the paparazzi gathered outside ABC Studios. She smiled and waved at the cameras before proceeding to her Uber VIP.
Cynthia showed no signs of the frail condition that prompted co-star Ariana Grande to wrap her arm around her waist.

Fans expressed concern for the actress when photos showed her skeletal appearance at a promo event in London. Fans fear Cynthia’s extreme weight loss could be a sign of a terminal illness or anorexia.

Photos showed Ariana Grande protectively holding her co-star, presumably to keep her from falling.
Cynthia also visited “The Tonight Show” on Wednesday evening. On the late-night show, the performer showcased her many talents including her incredible whistling skills which she used for a rendition of “Over the Rainbow.”
Cynthia said that she didn’t audition with Ariana Grande and didn’t know the singer was up for the role of Glinda until the casting was confirmed. “We’d never met,” she said. Cynthia was relieved that she didn’t have to work with 2 unnamed actresses she auditioned with.
“It was really easy,” she said of her work relationship with Ariana. “She was lovely.”
Ts Madison’s business partner Dominique Morgan (left) is charged with stealing $100,000 from a bail fund to help the transgender community.
The trans community wonders if Ts Madison is also mixed up in the scamming. This is bad news for Madison who is engaged to be married, as Sandrarose.comreported last month.
Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez announced the charges in a press release. Morgan is charged with one count of second-degree grand larceny and 23 counts of first-degree falsifying business records.

The charges stem from Morgan’s alleged embezzlement of funds in July 2022 as executive director of The Okra Project, a nonprofit that bails trans individuals out of jail.
Gonzalez alleges that Morgan stole $99,000 from the nonprofit and diverted it in a bank account that Morgan controlled. Morgan also allegedly used the money to pay for Mercedes-Benz car payments, clothing, meals, and a $19,000 “closet renovation” from California Closets.
The charges were filed in NY. So Morgan was released on no cash bail and is scheduled to appear in court in December. If convicted, Morgan could receive between five and 15 years in prison for the grand larceny charge, Gonzalez wrote.
Morgan was fired from the Okra Project, but Ts Madison gave Morgan a job managing the Madison Starter House in the Atlanta area.

The Starter House is Madison’s former home that provides housing and resources for transgender people in the Atlanta area. Morgan manages the Starter House, which opened earlier this year, according to Forbes.
Madison tells Forbes, “When I first came up with the idea to donate my first house to charity, I thought about how I moved to Atlanta homeless, broke, poor, sick from silicone poisoning, and with no sense of direction or place to go. One of my trans sisters took me in and became like a second mother to me. She motivated me and gave me the tools to start over and make it on my own.”
Fans wonder if Madison knows Morgan is facing charges and could be sent to prison if convicted.
YouTuber Oliver Twixt breaks down all the details in the video below.
Last week, rapper Dave Blunts, 23, performed his viral song “The Cup” in front of a sold-out crowd in Los Angeles.
The rapper’s morbid obesity affects his mobility, so he raps while sitting in a chair onstage.
Video clips show the aspiring artist excitedly taking in the moment as fans rap the words to his song. The video went viral on social media, eventually catching the eye of Snoop Dogg.
Instead of remarking on Blunt’s talent, Snoop fat-shamed the brother.
“We’ll put down the chicken wings and Tata chips [nephew] and that chair gone break soon get to the end of the cup,” Snoop wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.
Snoop’s followers chastised the aging rapper for not uplifting a fellow artist.
“This ain’t cool unc,” wrote one person. Another fan wrote, “help him out rather than clowning.”
A fan suggested Snoop and the other trolls take a chance to learn more about the rising rapper.
One fan said the video is a call for help. “We watching this man sing about ending his self. Somebody encourage this man to get a therapist and a trainer. He’s very talented and we tired of losing talented people too early. I wanna see more black men get old bruh.”
Blunts shared his own IG post about his “first performance” with a message stating prior to going on stage, he was “about to have a nervous breakdown.”
Another person said, “Sh*t lowkey sad because I like dave blunts and he’s actually making fun music lol. Can’t hate on the music so they hate on his looks. Wonder how much more great art we would have if people didn’t feel the need to bully every single person that’s trying.”

Fans haven’t seen or heard from Grammy-winning songbird Anita Baker since she canceled her Mother’s Day concert in Atlanta. Her concerned fans are wondering whether she’s OK.
Baker, 66, canceled her show at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena just six minutes before she was supposed to go on stage. The cancellation left fans disappointed and angry because some of them flew to Atlanta for the show.
At the time, furious fans flooded the internet blasting the Detroit native for being “unprofessional,” Atlanta Black Starreported.
Now her fans are wondering where she is because they haven’t heard from her since the Mother’s Day show was canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
But rumors are spreading that the Soul singer suffered a mild stroke and is recovering.
Fans patiently wait on the “Sweet Love” singer’s social media hoping that she will speak to them.

Baker hasn’t updated her X/Twitter page since September.
On August 1st she retweeted a fan who wrote: “Your Team & True Fans are standing by whenever YOU’re ready to Speak.”
Another fan wrote: “The real fans miss you Ms.Anita, hoping that all is well.”
A third person wrote: “Miss Baker, Whenever you feel ready would love to see you on tour again.”
Alright now that this election b.s. is over, onto more important topics:
A Georgia pastor who killed his mistress on the night before his wedding must serve his life sentence in prison. William Pounds had appealed his conviction for killing his mistress, Kendra Jackson, on the night before he was to marry his fiancée in 2015.
Pounds served as pastor at King’s Chapel Memorial CME Church in Perry, Georgia, at the time of the murder.
He lived a double life as a charismatic preacher by day and a womanizer at night. Pounds was also a senior master sergeant assigned to the 116th Air Control Wing at Robins Air Force Base.
Pounds was engaged to his fiancée, Vicinda Crawford, whom he dated for 10 years.
Facebook
Jackson was a 46-year-old mother of three who worked as a personal banker at the BB&T branch near Macon Mall, according to The Macon Telegraph.
Pounds had been dating Jackson for years, while in a longterm relationship with Crawford.
The two women met for the first time in May 2015, on National Pastor Appreciation Day. They showed up separately to surprise Pounds when they bumped into each other.
The women soon realized they had much in common and exchanged cell phone numbers.
“These texts led the women to discover that Pounds was cheating on each woman with the other, despite presently being engaged to be married to [Vicinda] Crawford,” the appeals court decision read. “Through their text messages, Crawford and Jackson consoled each other over their situation.”
“Pounds was repeatedly able to convince each woman that he had left the other and wanted to be with her,” the appeals court said.
Jackson ended her relationship with Pounds, but Crawford remained committed to him. They were to be married on June 12, 2015.
On June 11, 2015, Pounds called 911, saying Jackson shot herself after learning of his plans to marry Crawford. Her death was initially ruled a suicide, officials said.
But forensic testimony revealed “no evidence that [Jackson] had the gun in her hand” when she was shot in the head.
In the hours and days after Jackson died, Pounds told conflicting stories about Jackson’s death. Pounds told friends that Jackson had fired a shot at him, but he did not remember that detail when an investigator questioned him.
Pounds also told a firefighter at the scene that he hadn’t been in the bedroom when Jackson allegedly shot herself.
A jury of seven women and five men deliberated for about three hours and 15 minutes before finding him guilty of malice murder on Oct. 24, 2017.
At the sentencing hearing, Judge Howard Z. Simms said, “Mr. Pounds — and I’m not gonna dignify you by calling you Rev. Pounds – you didn’t earn that. You are a liar, you are a manipulator and frankly you are an outright charlatan.”
“I don’t believe that the truth is in you,” Judge Simms said before handing down a life sentence.
Pounds appealed his life sentence to the Georgia Supreme Court. But the court rejected his appeal last week, saying the evidence against him was “ample.”
Actors Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors are reportedly back on the market. According to a popular social media influencer, Jonathan and Meagan have called it quits after dating for over a year.
Jonathan is currently in Canada filming his new movie “Merciless”, while Meagan is living her best life as a single lady in LA.

Jonathan and Megan went Instagram official after he was arrested and later convicted of assaulting his ex-girlfriend. Fans were skeptical of their relationship because they believed Meagan was being paid by the movie studio to date him.
Jonathan’s relationship with Meagan helped him from a public relations standpoint. His Black female fans saw him as a good guy who was safe for Black women to date.
Jonathan previously only dated White women before hooking up with Meagan. Now it looks like he’s gone back to the other side.
The TikTok blogger said to her fans, “Jonathan is going to be big in Hollywood again, and I think that’s affecting his relationship with Meagan.”
Actor Denzel Washington‘s fans won’t get to see him kiss a man in his upcoming film “Gladiator II.” Washington revealed his gay kiss in a video interview with Gayety magazine. He said the scene was cut from the long-awaited sequel.
The Oscar winner stars in Ridley Scott’s film as Macrinus, a wealthy gay powerbroker in Rome who keeps a stable of male gladiators for sport.
According to Variety, the “Gladiator II” script mentions that Macrinus has been in relationships with other men in the past. This fact prompted Gayety to ask Washington: “How gay is the Roman empire?”
Washington responded: “I actually kissed a man in the film but they took it out, they cut it. I think they got chicken. I kissed a guy full on the lips and I guess they weren’t ready for that yet.”
Despite being gay in the movie, Washington said his intimate moment with another man was the kiss of death. “I killed him about five minutes later. It’s ‘Gladiator.’ It’s the kiss of death,” he said.

Washington said Gladiator II is one of his final films. He’s not sure how many acting jobs he’s got left in him before he retires. Washington said he’s inspired by great filmmakers like Gladiator IIdirector Ridley Scott.
“I have to be inspired by the filmmaker, and I was tremendously inspired by Ridley,” Washington told Empire magazine earlier this year.
“For me it’s about the filmmakers. Especially at this point in my career, I am only interested in working with the best,” he told Australia’s “Today” program. “I don’t know how many more films I’m going to make. It’s probably not that many. I want to do things I haven’t done.”
Lakers fans are upset that LeBron James‘ son Bronny James is only required to play home games for the South Bay Lakers G League team.
Bronny made history last month when he and his dad became the first father-son duo to play together in a NBA game.
Last month, the Lakers said Bronny would be sent down to the G-league to develop on Nov. 9.

Bronny scored 6 points in his first G League game for South Bay Lakers on Saturday. On Sunday, Nov. 10, Bronny played garbage minutes in the Lakers win against the Toronto Raptors.
Fans reacted when the Lakers announced Bronny James will not be traveling with the G League team for road games.
“He’s only going to play in the South Bay Lakers’ home games,” ESPN’s Brian Windhorst said on his podcast. “He’s only going to kind of be a part-time G League player, and he’s not getting on United Airlines to fly to these road games.”
Windhorst griped that Bronny is getting “special treatment” and it doesn’t benefit the Lakers or the G-league team.
“He’s getting somewhat special treatment and nepotism,” said Windhorst. “Now, I think it’s actually detrimental to him. I don’t like that. I don’t know whose idea it was, but obviously, the Lakers are fine with it — they’re doing it. On this particular instance, I think that’s gone too far, and I don’t think it benefits Bronny. I don’t think it benefits the South Bay Lakers, and I don’t think it benefits LeBron at this point.”
Fans expressed their opinions about the Lakers giving Bronny preferential treatment over other G League players.
One fan on a manosphere board wrote: “This isn’t a good look on Bron. Basically he forced the Lakers to draft his son and they get that one cool moment and then everyone agrees he isn’t NBA worthy. So what was the point of all this? So Bron could have the moment he wanted? What about Bronny? Just a bad look.”
Another fan wrote: “This is a bad look. They’re doing him no favors. He’ll never get the respect as a legit player who’s putting in work.”
A third fan wrote: “Ok, I was fine with everything they were doing with him until now. What’s the point of him not traveling with the g league team? He has to be the highest paid g league player this season with a 4 year fully guaranteed contract. What do you really gain from this?”
This is really dumb by the Lakers, they are hurting Bronny more than helping him. I don't even get the reasoning by it. Just flat out dumb. https://t.co/wPfjbA1qa4
the Lakers are officially the laughing stock of the NBA. wow they should have never drafted someone that don't even have the talent to play in the G-league. Plus he didn't even prove himself in college.
Don Lemon and actress Jamie Lee Curtis made dramatic exits from X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday. They both left X after Donald Trump announced X owner Elon Musk as his new efficiency advisor.
President-elect Trump appointed the Tesla founder to head his newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) alongside former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.
Musk’s official job title is “Efficiency Czar.” He and Ramaswamy are expected to slash government waste by firing thousands of federal employees on day 1 of Trump’s presidency.
“Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle the Government Bureaucracy,” Trump said in an announcement on Tuesday.
Curtis tweeted the Serenity Prayer before deleting her X page after Trump announced Musk’s appointment on Tuesday night.

A case worker for the Arizona Department of Child Services who was strangled during a livestream is out of the hospital and recovering at home.
De’Andre Johnson is accused of nearly killing his daughter’s case worker in an unprovoked attack he livestreamed on Facebook, Arizona officials said.
On Nov. 5, Mesa officers responded to a 911 call about a man choking another man in the lobby of an office building.
When police arrived, they found the victim lying on the floor in an “altered state of consciousness,” officials said.
Johnson live-streamed a video on Oct. 31 expressing concerns about the case worker interviewing his 9-year-old daughter in a room.
Johnson said his daughter did not want to return to school the next day. Johnson was irate that the case worker was alone in a room with his daughter for an hour.
After speaking with the case worker in the lobby, the two men stood up and fist bumped each other. Johnson adjusted the angle on his cell phone before grabbing the case worker from behind and putting the man in a chokehold.
The victim was in the chokehold for 2 minutes and 30 seconds before witnesses intervened and Johnson released him.
Johnson stood over the victim and asked, “You’re still breathing?” before choking him again.
“It’s very difficult to watch,” DCS Deputy Director David Lujan told AZ Family. “I think what was really telling about the video is that case worker had more than an hour-long conversation where they are talking calmly. Things seem to be going OK, they fist bump to say good bye, and then just out of the blue this happens.”
Johnson was arrested and faces charges of first-degree attempted murder, aggravated assault of a DCS worker and unlawful fight charges.
