LeBron James and his son, LeBron Jr., aka Bronny, made history on Tuesday as the first father-son duo to ever play together in an NBA game.

LeBron, 39, officially welcomed Bronny, 20, to the NBA with a little hazing incident before the season opener at the Crypto.com Arena in LA.

In the Nike commercial, LeBron is seen pouring Fruity Pebbles cereal through the sunroof of Bronny’s car. When Bronny comes out of the house, he opens the car door and a large amount of cereal pours out on the ground.

“Come on,” says Bronny, as LeBron pulls up in the backseat of a Maybach. “Hey, rook! You better not be late,” LeBron tells Bronny.

“Yo, are you serious?” says Bronny.

“Clean up my driveway. It’s a mess,” said LeBron.

“Yo, you’re too old for this!” Bronny yells as LeBron drives away.

“Thank god that wasn’t my car,” Bronny said about the prank after the Lakers’ win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night.

Bronny played 3 minutes and did not score during the Lakers’ 110-103 win. The arena nearly erupted when LeBron passed the ball to Bronny for a three. But Bronny missed.

After the game, Lebron spoke on winning his first game opening game as a Laker with his son.

“That moment, us being at the scorer’s table together and checking in together, something I will never forget. No matter how old I get, no matter how my memory may fade as I get older or whatever, I will never forget that moment.”

Another father-son duo, Ken Griffey Sr. and Ken Griffey Jr., were in the house to see history in the making.

The James and Griffeys embraced on the court before taking photos together.

Ken Jr. and Ken Sr. made history when they played together in 1990. They hit back-to-back home runs and Junior stole a fly ball from his father.

LeBron suggested an equivalent feat could happen if Bronny passed a lob to him for an alley oop and he did the same for Bronny.

Unfortunately, that didn’t happen on Tuesday.

When Bronny missed the wide open three point shot, his mom, Savannah, was so disappointed that she picked up her $40,000 Hermes purse and left.

Days after former President Donald Trump worked the drive-thru at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s, the CDC reported a deadly E. coli outbreak — at McDonald’s.

Trump scored high points with the working class by working a shift at a McDonald’s restaurant in suburban Philadelphia on Sunday, October 20. He also served fries to mainstream reporters and a few lucky customers.

The campaign stunt was a huge success, but Democrats and their media allies were furious.

On Tuesday, media outlets breathlessly reported that deadly E. coli bacteria was found in McDonald’s quarter pounder burgers. They claimed one person died and dozens more were hospitalized in Colorado and other states.

But some doctors correctly pointed out that E. coli bacteria can’t survive high heat – so the quarter pounder patties couldn’t be the culprit.

Then ABC News and other outlets reported that E. coli was found in the onions on the quarter pounders.

But McDonald’s puts onions on all of their burgers. So why single out the quarter pounder?

Most Americans are wary of any press release coming from the CDC after the COVID pandemic debacle in 2020.

Escherichia coli, or E. coli, normally exists in our intestines and is found in the stool of healthy humans.

E. coli in the gut is harmless to most humans. In fact, E. coli benefits humans by preventing other bad bacteria from colonizing the gut.

However, E. coli can cause serious infections in people with impaired immune systems, including people with HIV/AIDS and cancer patients.

Handwashing with soap and warm water kills E.coli on the hands.

Trump supporters are suspicious of the CDC’s motives. They say the E. coli outbreak story is too much of a coincidence so soon after Trump worked his shift at McDonald’s.

Former President Barack Obama made history on Tuesday when he became the first former president to perform a rap song on stage.

The 63-year-old retiree rapped the lyrics to “Lose Yourself” after he was introduced by rapper Eminem, 52, at a campaign rally in Detroit, Michigan.

Before introducing Obama in his hometown, Eminem urged people “to get out and vote,” and endorsed Harris.

“I have done a lot of rallies, so I don’t usually get nervous,” Obama said while campaigning for Vice President Kamala Harris. “But I was feeling some kind of way following Eminem.”

Obama then launched into the opening verse of Eminem’s hit song, “Lose Yourself,” from the 2002 film “8 Mile”. He re-worded the lyrics in the first person.

“I notice my palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy/ vomit on my sweater already/ mom’s spaghetti/ I’m nervous but on the surface I look calm and ready to drop bombs/ but I keep on forgetting,” Obama rapped as the crowd cheered. “I thought Eminem was gonna be performing. I was gonna jump out. Love, love me some Eminem,” the former president added.

Eminem is not fond of former President Donald Trump – or any Republican. He endorsed President Joe Biden in 2016. And he’s gone as far as dissing Republican candidates in his rap songs.

In 2016, Eminem released a song titled “Campaign Speech,” warning Americans not to vote for then-candidate Donald Trump.

Eminem later said Trump’s policies were harmful to America and criticized fans who helped Trump win the 2016 race.

Obama and his wife, Michelle, hit the campaign trail for Harris who is tied with Trump in national polls.

According to pollsters, Harris is losing ground with Black males, Hispanics and Muslims.

Cardi B is fed up with pranksters sending food and government employees to her home. In a livestream video, the “Enough” rapper revealed she hired private investigators and an attorney to find the pranksters who sent Child Protective Services and pizzas to her home.

The rap star was spotted with her style team while heading into Revolve Group Headquarters in downtown Los Angeles on Monday, Oct. 21.

“I promise you, I’m going to call [lawyer] Drew Findling in the morning, and I’m going to call a private investigator,” the mom-of-three said. “I’ma hire a private investigator and I’ma get my aunt’s husband, which is a private investigator to check on who is it.”

Cardi B said she won’t wait for CPS to identify the “anonymous” tipster. “I’m gonna find out myself,” she warned. “And you know what I’m gonna do? I’m not even pressing charges on you.”

Cardi said that if the prankster is a boy, her estranged husband, Offset, is going to “beat you the f*** up.”

She said if the prankster is a woman, she and her sister, Hennessy, will handle business themselves. “Because you playing with my MF kids. Stop playing with my MF kids. Not everything is a f***ing joke, not everything is a f***ing prank.”

The rapper didn’t seem concerned that she’s threatening physical violence in a livestream video that is public.

Cardi B is under a lot of stress and pressure trying to raise three children as a single mom going through a divorce.

A Delray Beach, Florida woman was arrested four years after she committed Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) fraud during the global pandemic.

According to an arrest warrant, Destiny Harris was charged with illegally obtaining $19,000 in PPP funds and unemployment fraud for receiving unemployed checks while she worked a full time job.

Harris was surprised when half a dozen police officers showed up at her door and asked her to step outside. At first she denied being Destiny Harris. Then she confirmed her identity and asked police if she could call her mother.

Harris broke down in tears as she explained to her very concerned mom that she didn’t know why the police were there.

Detectives told Harris that they sent her letters but she refused to show up for scheduled interviews.

She also refused to answer phone calls to a number registered in her name.

The very patient detectives allowed Harris to call her job and kiss her kids goodbye.

The Justice Department has stepped up efforts to charge people with PPP fraud ahead of the November election.

Harris is among four people picked up by Delray Beach police for PPP fraud recently.

One person was found to be a victim of identity fraud, while the other three filed for unemployment benefits that they weren’t entitled to.

Rapper T.I. owes over $2 million in back taxes to the IRS. According to court documents obtained by In Touch, T.I. was hit with a federal lien on June 13.

Uncle Sam says the rapper owes $383,512.45 for 2021 and $2,142,360.73 for 2022.

T.I. and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris was hit with another lien in 2015. The government said the couple failed to pay $1.3 million in 2012 and another $3 million in 2013.

They paid off their tax debt before T.I. was hit with another massive tax lien this year.

Recently, T.I. and Tiny were awarded a $71 million judgment against toy maker MGA Entertainment. But the couple will have to wait until the toy maker exhausts an appeal before they can collect.

In another court victory back in August, a federal judge dismissed a sexual assault lawsuit filed against T.I. and Tiny.

“Jane Doe” claimed T.I. and Tiny had assaulted her in a hotel room in 2005. She sued, seeking unspecified damages.

Doe claimed she was drugged by the couple before being forced to engage in sex acts without her consent.

But T.I. and Tiny denied all allegations. Furthermore, the statute of limitations had expired.

“All the claims asserted in the Complaint are time-barred because the statute of limitations for such claims has long expired over sixteen years ago,” their lawyer said.

Former President Donald Trump’s appearance at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s has sparked calls for a nationwide boycott.

Trump served fries and worked the drive-thru window at a suburban Philadelphia franchise on Sunday. Videos of Trump’s campaign stop went viral and sparked fury among Democrats online.

According to the Associated Press, Democrats are calling for a boycott amid outrage from customers who say they will never return to McDonald’s.

“I will never buy anything from @McDonalds, shame on you,” one X.com user posted.

Another person wrote: “There is something about McDonald’s endorsing Trump that makes me just not ever want to buy anything from them again.”

A third person wrote: “It’s time to boycott McDonald’s in the United States. Make McD’s pay the price for getting involved in politics.”

Others accused McDonald’s of helping Trump’s campaign to undermine Vice President Kamala Harris who said she once worked at a McDonald’s in Alameda, CA.

McDonald’s corporate office issued a statement saying it doesn’t have any record of the former prosecutor working at a franchise in California.

McDonald’s also issued a statement saying Trump didn’t have permission to work at one of its fast food restaurants for a day.

However, on Monday McDonald’s corporate office admitted it did give Trump permission to work the drive-thru.

“Upon learning of the former president’s request, we approached it through the lens of one of our core values: we open our doors to everyone,” McDonald’s corporate said. “McDonald’s does not endorse candidates for elected office and that remains true in this race for the next president. We are not red or blue – we are golden.”

Two sources tell NBC News that incarcerated film producer Harvey Weinstein is undergoing treatment for bone marrow cancer.

The sources said Weinstein is undergoing treatment for Chronic myeloid leukemia at Rikers Island. Chronic myeloid leukemia is a rare form of cancer of the bone marrow, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Weinstein, 72, is currently in the infirmary at New York’s Rikers Island. His 2020 sex crimes conviction was overturned earlier this year. Weinstein was serving a 23-year sentence.

In a statement to NBC News on Monday night, Weinstein’s representative Craig Rothfeld said in part, “Out of respect for Mr. Weinstein’s privacy, we will offer no further comment.

Weinstein has suffered from various health problems since his arrest in 2018. Last month, he underwent emergency heart surgery.

In July, he was hospitalized and tested positive for Covid-19 and double pneumonia.

Weinstein’s New York conviction was overturned this year by the New York’s Court of Appeals which found that the trial judge made improper rulings.

The judge’s improper rulings included letting women testify about allegations that weren’t part of the case.

But Weinstein wasn’t free to go. He was also convicted of rape in Los Angeles in 2022 and sentenced to 16 years in prison. His legal team is appealing that conviction.

Democrats chastised pop singer Lizzo for saying America will look like Detroit if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the election.

The “Truth Hurts” singer, who is a native of Detroit, appeared alongside the Democratic presidential nominee at Western International High School on October 19.

It was supposed to be a celebrity endorsement for Harris, but it ended in disaster when Lizzo made the unscripted comment in front of cameras.

“They say if Kamala wins, then this whole country will be like Detroit,” Lizzo said.

Realizing her error, Lizzo tried to backtrack.

“Well, I say proud like Detroit, resilient like Detroit. The same Detroit that innovated the auto industry and the music industry. Put some respect on Detroit’s name,” she added.

However, Detroit is one of the nation’s most poverty stricken cities. A recent study shows more than half of Detroit’s residents live in poverty.

Detroit’s population peaked at 1.8 million in the 1950s. But that number has dwindled over the decades as residents fled the city.

Just over a decade ago, city officials filed for federal bankruptcy protection after a years-long financial crisis.

Democrats blasted Lizzo on social media. Many wondered who said such a thing about Harris and Detroit. They wondered if Lizzo simply made it up.

One person wrote on X.com: “Regardless of Lizzo’s strenuous efforts to spin it, all that will be ringing in people’s subconscious is: ‘Kamala will turn America into impoverished, run down, and unsafe, Detroit’.”

Another person wrote: “So Lizzo just told us the entire country will go to hell just like Detroit if we vote for Kamala!”

A fan noted that Lizzo flew to Detroit on a private jet. “Brags about Kamala turning the whole country into a poverty stricken Detroit – Struts onto private jet to prove she knows nothing about poverty.”

The digital billboard is the latest campaign tool in Beyonce’s partnership with Levi’s jeans.

The country-pop star featured a track titled “Levii’s Jeans” on her country music album Act II: Cowboy Carter.

Beyonce has worn Levi’s jeans since before she skyrocketed to fame as a member of Destiny’s Child back in the day.

“My song Levii’s Jeans celebrates what I believe is the ultimate Americana uniform — something we all wear with pride,” Beyonce said.

“I am honored to work with Levi’s to create quintessential American iconography. Denim on denim has often been seen through a male lens, so this reimagining campaign, which celebrates the iconic female perspective, is important to me,” she added.

In a commercial for the brand, Beyonce strolls into a launderette and strips off her high-waisted jeans to reveal a pair of white underwear. “Come here you sexy little thing/Don’t you wish you were my Levii’s jeans,” she sings.

“Give you high fashion with a simple white tee @levis,” Beyonce captioned the ad on her Instagram.
