Atlanta’s Magic City strip club responded to the public backlash over a promotional event scheduled for Monday, March 16 at State Farm Arena.

Last week the Atlanta Hawks announced a new promotional event involving the popular downtown Atlanta strip club.

The promotional event is marketed for the same night the Hawks take on the Orlando Magic.

Hawks fans will dine on lemon pepper chicken wings – which Magic City is famous for.

The event will also feature a halftime performance by T.I., who is currently in the midst of an Internet war with fellow rapper 50 Cent.

Magic City manager JuJu Barney and dancer Yaya addressed the controversy during an interview on TMZ Live on Wednesday.

Magic City’s famed dancers will be in the arena, but JuJu and Yaya promised there will be no nudity during the family-oriented basketball game.

“There will be no nudity whatsoever, at all,” JuJu told TMZ. “There will be no signs of nudity, there will be no nudity at all. It’s strictly just wings and music and people having a good time.”

JuJu also said Magic City is more than just a strip club, it’s a gathering place for Atlanta’s movers and shakers.

Rappers such as T.I., Migos, Jermaine Dupri, 2 Chainz, Killer Mike, Big Boi and Future have helped promote the club worldwide in their music and on social media.

Magic City Monday will also promote an upcoming STARZ docuseries about Magic City.

But the NBA is facing backlash from concerned players.

San Antonio Spurs center Luke Kornet called for the Hawks to cancel the Magic City Monday promo event, saying it’s disrespectful to women.

In a post on Medium.com, Luke Kornet said the NBA should protect and hold women in esteem.

He said many of the NBA’s female employees “work diligently every day to make this the best basketball league in the world. We should promote an atmosphere that is protective and respectful of the daughters, wives, sisters, mothers, and partners that we know and love.”

Kornet added:

“Allowing this night to go forward without protest would reflect poorly on us as an NBA community, specifically in being complicit in the potential objectification and mistreatment of women in our society.

“Regardless of how a woman finds her way into the adult entertainment industry, many in this space experience abuse, harassment, and violence to which they should never be subjected.”

Fans of The Breakfast Club can’t watch full shows on YouTube anymore because the morning show signed a $200 million podcast deal with Netflix.

Now co-hosts Charlamagne and Jess Hilarious are crying because they lost all of their viewers who used to tune in on YouTube every morning.

Netflix signed a $200 million deal with iHeartRadio to stream more than 15 iHeartRadio podcasts, including The Breakfast Club.

The Breakfast Club moved over to Netflix in January. Now the morning show is dead in the water.

They post short clips on YouTube, but no one watches the full show on Netflix.

Jess Hilarious is crying because the show on Netflix isn’t getting any views and there are no comments. The show sounds like an echo chamber.

A few more months and people will be asking ‘Whatever happened to Charlamagne and Jess Hilarious?’

$200 million down the toilet in one flush.

Charlamagne and Jess Hilarious have to think of other ways to keep their YouTube viewers entertained because their viewers don’t want to pay monthly for The Breakfast Club when it used to be free on YouTube.

Rose Garden member @Birdshu wrote on X.com: “That’s unfortunate. All money ain’t good money. If you get money and lose your audience, what’s the point?”

Youtube user @justin10davis wrote: “Man, I’m not feeling the Netflix move.”

YT user @treduce6637 wrote: “Sold us out for Netflix.”

Another YouTube user called Charlamagne out for marketing The Breakfast Club as a “podcast” instead of what it is – a radio morning show.

@arjunkannan6907 wrote: “Really surprised breakfast club analytics staff didn’t do enough research prior to moving to Netflix. Yes the content is the same. But y’all call yourselves a podcast when it’s more of a morning radio show in the disguise of a podcast. Everyone in morning wants what form of accessibility to reach you: youtube. No one’s opening up Netflix in the morning lmao.”

Wide receiver Stefon Diggs is out of a job.

The New England Patriots released him just weeks after the team’s brutal loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl.

New England reportedly told Stefon he will be released on March 11, according to CBS NFL insider Jonathan Jones.

Stefon scrubbed his entire Instagram page, after unfollowing the Patriots’ social media account.

Then the news broke that Stefon won’t be playing for the Patriots in 2026.

He posted a message to fans on his Instagram Story, saying “THANK YOU for a hell of a year. We family forever.”

Stefon was just one year into a three-year, $63.5 million contract. The team cut him because he was set to make an additional $6 million on March 13.

The father-of-8 recently broke up with rapper Cardi B, who accompanied him to the Super Bowl in February. The couple split after he invited his ex-girlfriends and at least one of his baby mamas to the big game.

Stefon’s private life and legal troubles were a source of concern for the Patriots.

He was recently arrested for allegedly assaulting his former live-in chef.

Cardi B asked the woman not to press charges against her baby daddy. She shares an infant son with the prolific breeder.

Stefon was arraigned on charges of felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault last month. He was ordered to stay away from the woman.

Cardi B dissed Stefon during a recent stop on her concert tour (see video below).

Gayle had a good reason to celebrate. She signed with CBS News to keep her day job as CBS Mornings anchor.

“CBS News is my longtime home, and I am committed to our mission,” she said. “I’m excited about continuing at ‘CBS Mornings.’ As always, I’m open to new adventures here and ready to go. It took a minute, but we got there. And now that we are here, I am all in.”

CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss is reportedly considering former ESPN anchor Sage Steele as Gayle’s CBS Mornings co-anchor.

Jasmine Crockett Threatened Lawsuit Over Voter Confusion

U.S. House Rep. Jasmine Crockett threatened to file a lawsuit against Dallas County for voter confusion during the Democratic primary on Tuesday.

State Rep. James Talarico defeated Crockett in the U.S. Senate race on Tuesday. Crockett announced that the election was “rigged” by Republicans.

“We’re about to file a lawsuit to keep the voting polls open,” she said. “I can tell you now that people have been disenfranchised.”

After conceding the race in a phone call to Talarico on Wednesday, Crockett said, “Texas is primed to turn blue and we must remain united because this is bigger than any one person. This is about the future of all 30 million Texans and getting America back on track. With the primary behind us, Democrats must rally around our nominees and win.”

Crockett claimed thousands of voters from her home base of Dallas County were turned away from voting polls.

A state judge ruled that polling places should stay open two extra hours because of “mass confusion” caused by new rules put in place by Republicans.

The two-term Congresswoman will not return to Congress next year because she gave up running for reelection in order to run for the U.S. Senate.

Gayle King gets to keep her job after months of speculation

News anchor Gayle King will stay at CBS Mornings after months of speculation. Variety reports Gayle signed a new deal with the network.

Rumor had it that CBS was considering replacing Gayle with Hoda Kotb or Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk.

Gayle celebrated her new deal with a statement: “Rumors of my demise were inaccurate and greatly exaggerated,” she said, referring to a Variety report from October that said her contract, which ends in May, would not be renewed.

“CBS News is my longtime home, and I am committed to our mission,” she added. “I’m excited about continuing at ‘CBS Mornings.’ As always, I’m open to new adventures here and ready to go. It took a minute, but we got there. And now that we are here, I am all in.”

Variety reported Gayle would leave the morning show, but the network would find another suitable job for her in-house.

At the time, Gayle denied the report.

CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss is reportedly considering former ESPN anchor Sage Steele as Gayle’s CBS Mornings co-anchor.

According to Oliver Darcy’s Status newsletter, Bari Weiss is searching for a new co-host for CBS Mornings after Gayle’s former co-host Tony Dokoupil was promoted to CBS Evening News in January.

The news that Erika Kirk might sit in Gayle’s chair was met with surprise and criticism. CBS viewers said Gayle should be replaced by another person of color, not a privileged multi-millionaire.

One person on the LGBT+ board Data Lounge wrote sarcastically, “This will surely get the highest ratings in CBS history.”

Someone else wrote on X (Twitter), “CBS just lost all credibility. Jesus Christ.”

Anderson .Paak’s estranged wife Jae Lin seeks spousal support

Singer Anderson .Paak‘s estranged wife Jae Lin is seeking spousal support for their two sons.

Jae Lin Chang (also known as Jaylyn) filed for spousal support in Los Angeles, California.

In court documents obtained by TMZ, Jae is seeking spousal support and shared legal and primary physical custody of their sons, ages 9 and 15.

They share sons, Soul Rasheed, 15, and Shyne Tariq, 9.

She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce.

Anderson and Jae Lin divorced in January 2024 after 13 years of marriage. The divorce moved slowly through the courts because neither Anderson or Jae seemed to be in a hurry to divorce until now.

The divorce picked up pace when it was reported that Anderson is dating both Mariah Carey and TV personality Jeannie Mae.

The news comes weeks after Anderson was spotted kissing and cuddling with Jeezy’s ex-wife Jeannie Mai. But that relationship seems to be over now that Mariah Carey is back in the picture.

Mariah was in the house when Anderson hosted the premiere of his new movie “K-Pops!” at AMC The Grove 14 in Los Angeles on Tuesday, February 24. Jeannie was not on the guest list.

Jeannie refused to confirm or deny her relationship with Anderson when BACKGRID spotted her on a night out alone last week.

In the film, Anderson plays BJ, a struggling L.A. musician who travels to Seoul in South Korea, where he learns he has a son competing on a K-pop talent show.

Anderson’s eldest son, Soul Rasheed, plays his son in the movie.

Anderson credits Jaylyn with teaching his sons how to speak Korean. He said Soul “knows full Korean and all about his heritage… And I was always trying to get his African culture in there too.”

“That’s when I started developing the [movie] script because I started to see how much Korean culture that his mom had passed down to him,” Anderson said.

K-Pops! Is playing exclusively at AMC Theaters.

Sheriff says investigators are ‘definitely closer’ to an arrest in Nancy Guthrie case

The sheriff for Pima County, Arizona says investigators are “definitely closer” to an arrest in the Nancy Guthrie missing person case.

In an interview with NBC News, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said police are investigating a car that passed by Nancy Guthrie’s Tucson area home the night she went missing.

Nanos said that a Ring camera video obtained by Fox News Digital shows a car driving past a home in Guthrie’s neighborhood about 2.5 miles away from her house at 2:36 a.m. on Feb. 1.

Guthrie was reported missing by her family hours later that day.

“I think the investigators are definitely closer,” he told NBC News.

Nanos said the sheriff’s department’s homicide unit is working closely with the FBI on the case. The homicide unit’s involvement implies that the 84-year-old mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie is deceased.

But Nanos added that he believes Nancy Guthrie is still alive after 32 days.

Evidence shows she may have been taken from her bed between 2 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. on February 1. She was last seen by her family on January 31.

“Look, what I would tell you is this: We’re aware of [the car], and we’re looking into it, just like any other piece of evidence,” Nanos said.

He said authorities have not been able to identify the car in the footage.

“We’re looking at that vehicle as well as hundreds of thousands of other vehicles that were out driving that time of day,” Nanos said.

Investigators are also looking into who purchased a backpack similar to the one worn by the suspect in Nancy’s Nest video footage.

The $10 backpack is exclusively sold by Walmart, but Sheriff Nanos says it may not have been bought at a Walmart.

“We’ve now learned that maybe it wasn’t purchased out of Walmart,” he told NBC News. “That backpack is new, is exclusive to Walmart, but who’s to say I didn’t buy it and put it on eBay? … That’s what we’re looking at.”

Jasmine Crockett Blames Republicans for Loss in Democratic Primary: “This is what Republicans do!”

U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett blamed Republicans for her loss to a Democrat in Tuesday’s Democratic primary.

Crockett, 44, lost the U.S. Senate race to James Talarico, a state representative.

Talarico, 36, held a slim lead over Crockett in the primary as election results trickled in on Tuesday night.

With over 60% of county polls reporting, Talarico held 49.9% of the vote over Crockett’s 48.9%.

His lead extended to 53.9% over Crockett’s 44.8% by 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Just after 9 p.m., Crockett announced a delay in election results and blamed Republicans for cheating in her county.

“So that’s my news… We’re not gonna have election results tonight, in my opinion, based upon what specifically is taking place in Dallas County,” she told her supporters.

Crockett continued: “Unfortunately, this is what Republicans like to do. And so they specifically targeted Dallas County, and I think we all know why.”

The Congresswoman told her supporters to enjoy themselves, but she wouldn’t be back “because I have no idea of when we’re gonna get [election] results, and I fully anticipate it won’t be until tomorrow,” she said.

But the election results came in after Crockett left the podium. She lost to Talarico by 8 points.

Talarico will face either US Sen. John Cornyn or Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in the general election in November.

The primary loss means Crockett will not return to Congress because she chose to run for Senate instead of seeking reelection to her House seat.

Crockett, a U.S. Representative for Texas’s 30th congressional district, began her race for the U.S. Senate seat in Texas with a speech at the 2024 Democratic National Convention.

She is one of President Trump’s biggest critics and is an outspoken advocate for voters rights.

Talarico, a former public school teacher, enrolled in seminary school while serving as a member of the Texas House of Representatives.

He criticized the Republican effort to display the Ten Commandments in the state’s schools.

Fans of ’80s Hip-Hop icons Salt-N-Pepa were shocked after Cheryl “Salt” James described satanic rituals in the music industry.

Cheryl, Sandra “Pepa” Denton and DJ Spinderella were inducted into the NAACP Image Awards Hall of Fame on February 28. The honor recognized their impact on Hip-Hop and Black culture.

Fans were shocked when Salt shared a video discussing the rituals in the music industry. She said “Now we know satanists and luciferians run the world. 2nd Corinthians, it describes that satan is the god of this world. They own the government, politics, Democrats and Republicans.”

Cheryl urged fans to investigate the companies they patronize. “Find out who they are, what their practices are. What their beliefs are,” she said.

“I know we love certain brands, but do we know their history?” she continued. She asked fans if they know who own their banks. She said they can close the banks whenever they want to.
