We’re not seeing much of Beyoncé now that the paparazzi are showing less and less interest in her. But Bee doesn’t seem to care. She had a good run and she realizes it’s time to pass the baton to the younger kids and take a well deserved rest.

In addition to being a talented singer and model, Rihanna is an art connoisseur too! According to Just Jared, our girl Rihanna recently picked up some pricey artwork as an early birthday present to herself.
Despite Rihanna’s worldly sophistication, her taste in art reveals the inner child inside her. One of the works of art Rihanna purchased included a piece titled “Fat Kids Are Harder To Kidnap.” Hopefully her haters won’t try to make a case against Ri Ri for disrespecting the calorically challenged.
The “Umbrella” singer, who turned 20 yesterday, purchased seven paintings by pop cartoonist Todd Goldman as an early birthday present for herself, including the one she is photographed in front of, “Fat Kids Are Harder To Kidnap.”
“Half of the paintings are going to her house in L.A. and half to her apartment in NYC,” a source exclusively tells JustJared.com.
Rihanna also picked up other pieces of artwork including “Goodbye Kitty in a Microwave,” “Gold Digger Like a Hooker Just Smarter,” “My Mom Says Not to Run With Scissors,” “Barbie is a Slut,” “A Salt with a Deadly Weapon,” and “Smurf Blue Balls.” (Source)

The sleek Chanel Choco phone looks like a translucent Rubic’s cube when closed. When opened, it resembles nothing like we’ve ever seen. If a real ET landed on earth, this is the gadget we would expect him to phone home with.
According to Tuvie.com, the Chanel Choco phone works by integrating an optical fiber system that display image between two glass parts. There are 12 micro lighter fibers, that throw image components to the glass, that offer a quite good luminosity, and keep the mobile phone concept as light as possible. All lights only appear when you open the phone, by pushing removable part on the side of it. (Source)

6 months ago this story about Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri getting married would have made headlines. But, today, not so much:
JANET Jackson is taking the marriage plunge again. Although the pop star has remained mum on her engagement to rapper Jermaine Dupri, she recently hit up designers like Badgley Mischka, asking for bridal gown samples. “She’s preparing for her private nuptials,” said one source. Good luck, Janet! Just last week, she confessed to Parade magazine, “After two divorces, I thought I was jinxed. Maybe marriage isn’t for me? Maybe it’s my fault it never works.” (Source)

If you thought our girl Rihanna was a big hit only in the U.S. – how wrong you were. Rihanna crossed the pond to perform at the BRIT Awards in London, England yesterday, and the British paparazzi went crazy! My spies tell me they’ve never seen anything like the pandemonium that erupted when RiRi appeared on the red carpet.
“They were pushing and shoving each other while screaming her name,” said my source. “I haven’t seen anything like it since Princess Diana was alive!”
Rihanna teamed up with British sensations the Klaxons to perform Rihanna’s “Umbrella” hit mixed with Klaxons’ hit “Golden Skans”. The response was so overwhelming that RiRi plans to release the song as a single. We’re so proud of her!

NBC News reprimanded an employee for “mistakenly” flashing a picture of Osama Bin Laden behind an anchorman during a segment on Senator Barack Obama yesterday.
The “mistake” happened during a segment on Obama on MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews. As Matthews spoke, a picture of Bin Laden flashed on the screen for more than a few seconds – certainly long enough for someone to see it in the control room.
Obama’s camp quickly called NBC to complain, and Matthews apologized on the air a few minutes later.
This isn’t the first time the networks made Obama the butt of their jokes: CNN apologized last year for promoting a story on the search for bin Laden with the headline, “Where’s Obama?”
And CNN’s Alina Cho reported that “Barack Obama’s campaign has been dogged by false rumors, among them that Osama is a Muslim, Obama rather.”

HOT 107.9 will broadcast live today from 12-6 PM from the site of 2 fires in Decatur that left over 40 families displaced. The families lost everything they own, including clothes, personal items, family photos and toys.
Young Jeezy, part owner of Eight732 Clothing line, heard Hot’s call for help and plan to go to the site of the fires today to distribute new jeans, t-shirts and outerwear from the clothing line to young men who have been displaced by the fires.
If you can help with donations of food, clothes, shoes or money, please stop by the Park apartments at 2751 Candler Rd today between 12-6 PM.
