Vivica A. Fox says she divorced her first husband because she was tired of being the financial provider in the household.

The actress sat down for an interview with VladTV and discussed her failed marriage to Christopher "Sixx-Nine" Harvest in 2002.

The "Independence Day" star said she cut Harvest off after his music gigs dried up and he turned to her for financial support.

"Everyone was having their Cinderella day and I just wanted one too to be very honest with you. Why the marriage didn't last a long time is 'cause I didn't take the time to get to know him. I felt peer pressure."

Vivica is best known for her role as a savvy relationship expert in the movie Two Can Play That Game. She dated Harvest during that time when he was a member of an R&B group.

"At the time, [Christopher Harvest] was a singer. And his group that he was in [was] supposed to have been signed with Death Row Records... When Tupac got killed and everything kind of fell apart with Death Row Records, he didn't go out and try to pursue things with the same drive that I had for my career.

"You know, a woman doesn't like paying all the bills all the time. I can only ask for help so many times before I had to come to the conclusion that I didn’t want to be the breadwinner in this family. My mother didn’t raise me to take care of a man. And that was the deciding factor."

Vivica dated Atlanta club promoter, and friend of the blog, Omar "Slim" White, from 2009 to 2011. Vivica and Slim are pictured below in 2010.

Friend of the blog Omar "Slim" White had something to say about America's election process, but his voice is being silenced online. The entrepreneur and Spiritual Teacher took to Instagram to let his followers know he is being "censored" for sharing his knowledge.

Slim and others fear "What the future may hold."

"I'm being censored right as well so share this, if you feel this message," he wrote.
