Gov. Who Went Missing Admits To Cheating On His Wife

Who didn’t think South Carolina Governor Marc Sanford was cheating on his wife when he went missing for four days and couldn’t get his story straight?

At a news conference in Columbia, S.C., Gov. Mark Sanford has now admitted that he had an extramarital affair with someone in Argentina, as he attempted to explain his mysterious disappearance from the state last week.

He said he had developed a relationship with someone in Argentina during the past year. Mr. Sanford returned from Buenos Aires this morning, after leaving the state capital last Thursday. His whereabouts had become a source of nearly national speculation, with aides first saying they didn’t know where he was, then saying he was hiking on the Appalachian Trail but unreachable.

Mr. Sanford also said he would resign from his position as head of the Republican Governors Association.

As for his wife Jenny, he said they had been working through this for the last five months. He and his wife have four boys.

“I hurt her. I hurt you all. I hurt my wife. I hurt my boys,” he said, and asked forgiveness from everyone. READ MORE…

His wife Jenny knew about her husband’s affair for five months (as most wives often do) and stayed with him. But now that their dirt is all in the streets, she refused to stand by him at today’s press conference.

Audio: Tiny & Toya on Ryan Cameron Show Pt. 2 *UPDATED*

Scroll down for update…

In Pt. 2 of Ryan Cameron’s interview with Tiny & Toya on WVEE, Toya refused to discuss her relationship with her new man.

But celebrity photographer Prince Williams of ATLPICS.net got a shot of the happy couple together at Charles Grant’s benefit this past weekend.

I’m sure Toya refused to discuss her man because this is Atlanta, and the desperate sharks are already circling him. But I have no doubt that one of you know who this hot hunk is, and will put a name with the face.

False alarm, y’all. According to loyal reader Miss Jenee, Toya’s new man is James Hardy, WR for the Buffalo Bills. He was a hoops star for the Indiana Hoosiers too. Unlike that other cat we mistook him for, James seems grounded and down to earth. In other words, a good catch.

Tiny & Toya on Ryan Cameron Show

Atlanta Socialites Tiny & Toya were in-studio guests on the Ryan Cameron Show on WVEE today. The ladies discussed their upcoming reality series which premieres on BET on June 30 at 10p.

Tiny confirmed our earlier report that her fiance, T.I. is not ill with gastroenteritis. The rapper is currently serving a 366-day sentence in a Arkansas federal prison for illegal gun possession. The prison was recently hit with a breakout of gastroenteritis prompting officials to temporarily suspend visitation.

Toya talked about her contentious relationship with her baby daddy Lil Wayne, who she says runs up in women due to his astrological sign.

In part 2 of their interview. Toya will discuss her rumored relationship with a professional athlete.

Those of you who are outside of the Atlanta area can listen to Pt. 2 of Ryan Cameron’s interview with Tiny & Toya via the webcast on www.v-103.com (click on Listen Live).

Sneak peek at 2nd season of RHOA

Flamethrower Dwight Eubanks gives NeNe Leakes a lesson on the art of bottle poppin’ in this short clip from the 2nd season of RHOA.

The scene opens with NeNe showing Dwight her newly leased or rented digs that she was able to afford with a portion of the $168,000 check she got from Bravo (I hear she blew through that check and the money is gone now).

While watching this clip, a thought occurred to me that I could be living large like a fake millionaire as well.

There are so many foreclosed mansions and mini mansions in the Atlanta area that are just sitting there empty. I bet I could rent a 5,000 sq. ft. crib like NeNe’s for less than $1800 a month. I’m going to look into that.

Another celebrity clothing line bites the dust (this time it’s J-Lo)

Jennfer Lopez joins the long list of celebrities whose clothing lines have flopped due to apathy among their fans. It seems the business managers for these celebs are running out of get rich quick schemes, aka investments, to sink their client’s cash into.

Remember when J-Lo was the ish? When her photos sold for thousands of dollars a pop and you couldn’t tell her anything? Well, those days are long gone.

In 2006, J-Lo’s clothing line, Sweetface, took in over $200 million in profits. But that was back then when she was the ish.

Lopez’s clothing lines seem just as volatile as her image. One day she’s Selena, then she’s Jenny From the Block, then she’s J. Lo, then you’re on a red carpet circa 2007 and all the photographers are saying you’d better not dare call her J. Lo or she won’t pose for pictures. And then she’s having Marc Anthony’s babies and getting bangs, all the while not wearing any of the clothes or shoes or jewelry she purportedly designs. READ MORE…

North Korea Threatens To Wipe The U.S. Off The Map

We interrupt your daily gossip to bring you this important message:

North Korea renewed its threat today to launch nuclear missile attacks against the United States.

A U.S. Navy destroyer is currently tailing a N. Korea ship off the coast of China. The ship is believed to be transporting missiles.

The new U.N. Security Council resolution requires member states to seek permission to stop ships and inspect suspicious cargo. North Korea has let it be known that if their ship is stopped by the U.S. it will consider that action an act of of war.

“If the U.S. imperialists start another war, the army and people of Korea will… wipe out the aggressors on the globe once and for all,” the official Korean Central News Agency said.

Now here’s the good news (sort of): the North Koreans don’t have long range missiles capable of reaching the U.S. So NKorea has announced plans to invade and capture Hawaii on the 4th of July in order to use Hawaii as its base from which to launch attacks against the U.S.

You can see by the map how close Hawaii is to California. As you can imagine, the residents of Hawaii are more than a little worried. Especially since native son Obama seems to be more concerned with kissing the butts of Mideast terrorists than he is about them.

But why would NKorea tells us how they plan to attack us — unless they’re bluffing?

At any rate, the U.S. military is busy moving missile detection systems and personnel to Hawaii in the event that North Korea isn’t bluffing.

Meanwhile, Barack Obama will be grilling hot dogs on the 4th of July with Ahmadinejhad and Diplomats from his terrorist regime.

Medical Minute: Gastroenteritis

According to an inside source, incarcerated rapper T.I., real name Clifford Harris Jr., is not among those inmates sickened by a gastrointestinal bug that’s going around the Arkansas prison where he’s serving a 366-day sentence.

Rumors that T.I was sick spread quickly after it was announced that visits to the federal prison were temporarily suspended until the bug could be contained.

This type of illness occurs frequently inside institutions, schools, college dorms, hospitals, or anywhere that large groups of people congregate.

The illness, known as gastroenteritis or stomach flu, can be caused by food poisoning, parasites, virus or bacteria introduced from the outside — which is why visits to the prison have been temporarily suspended.

Symptoms include:

  • Fever
  • Headache
  • Abdominal pain (cramping)
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea, vomiting
  • Loss of appetite
  • Malaise (weakness)
  • Bloody stools

Symptoms usually begin 1-2 days following the introduction of the infection, and may last for up to 10 days. Gastroenteritis is usually not life threatening and some patients recover without treatment. But gastroenteritis can lead to dehydration and death if prolonged diarrhea and vomiting are left untreated.

Treatment includes antibiotics (which are not helpful against a virus), anti-parasitic medications, and medications to relieve symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. In some cases, patients may require hospitalization to replace fluids lost (rehydraton therapy).
