This Morning Wood is strictly for the fellas! Struggling R&B singer Trey Song strikes questionable gay poses in the current issue of Urban Ink magazine. These heavily Photoshopped pics of Trey look like they came straight out a gay themed magazine or a male online dating service. Trey has the gay poses down to perfection (and why not?) He tries so hard doesn't he? And he wonders why we bloggers keep spilling his tea.
It was like a scene straight out of the classic book Lord of the Flies. But instead of British schoolboys descending into savagery and killing each other on a bucolic deserted island, we have Chicago area schoolboys beating 16-year old honor roll student Derrion Albert to death in the South Side Roseland neighborhood last Thursday (9/24).
What's equally as disturbing as watching children turn on children in this video is watching the savagery unfold through the eyes of the nig-norant videographer who reacts gleefully to the senseless violence as if he's watching a video game come to life.
The video shows Derrion in the mix of a street brawl that erupted between dozens of his fellow Christian Fenger Academy High School students as school let out around 3 p.m. on Thursday.
Derrion can be seen at the 45 sec. mark swinging wildly at a teen. As he does so, another teen wearing a red jacket over the same high school uniform as Derrion's, comes up behind him and strikes him over the head with a 2x4 board.
Derrion crumpled to the ground in the parking lot adjacent to a community center in the 300 block of West 111th Street. As he struggled to get to his feet, a younger boy, wearing a dark shirt and Chicago Bulls shorts, dropped him again with a vicious punch to the jaw.
Derrion tries to rise again and stumbles a few yards to a street corner where the young savages realize he's easy prey and set upon him with their fists, feet and boards.
Several youth workers, and a passerby who abandoned his truck in the street, helped drag the mortally wounded boy into the nearby Agape Community Center. Police arrived on the scene seconds later and remained with them until an ambulance arrived.
According to the coroner, Derrion died from massive bleeding in the brain caused by blunt force trauma to the head. Four students in all were injured in the melee.
Monique Bond, Chicago Public Schools spokeswoman, tried to distance Fenger Academy from the violence that claimed the life of one of its students.
According to the Sun-Times, Bond said the school district was told there is possibly a conflict between two gang "factions," but "it has nothing to do with the school."
But clearly the video shows otherwise as most of the participants in the brawl, including the assailants, wore Fenger Academy school uniforms.
Chicago police were questioning several "persons of interest" Sunday night in connection with the fatal beating.
A woman who was arrested at a Malibu, Calif. restaurant went missing after she was released hours later from a sheriff's station, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Mitrice Richardson, 24, was reportedly intoxicated and unable to pay her $89 bill at Geoffrey's restaurant on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu about 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, the newspaper reported.
Deputies arrested Richardson at the Malibu-Lost Hills station, where they booked her on suspicion of not paying for the meal and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore told the Los Angeles Times.
She was released about 1:25 a.m. the next day, he said.
"She exhibited no signs of mental illness or intoxication," said Whitmore, explaining why she was released. "She was fine. She's an adult."
According to her mother, Latice Sutton, a manager she spoke to at Geoffrey's said Richardson appeared to be in "no condition to drive."
Sutton told the newspaper that she called the Malibu-Lost Hills station to ask about posting bail and picking up her daughter, but deputies told her they had released her because they did not have room to keep her in jail.
"They allowed her to walk out of that facility and down that road in the pitch black night," Richardson's father, Michael, told the Times. "That's not right. Now, I just want to find my child."
The woman's mother said deputies told her nearby residents had called to say a woman was sleeping on porches, indicating to her that Richardson was stumbling around a nearby residential neighborhood early Friday, the Times reported.
Richardson is African-American, 5-foot-5-inches and approximately 135 pounds. She has brown, curly hair and hazel eyes, and was last seen wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans, police said. According to a flyer made by her family, Richardson has tattoos on her lower abdomen and behind her neck.
Police asked anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the LAPD's Missing Persons Unit at (213) 485-5381, or 1-877-LAPD-24-7 after business hours or on weekends.
The NY Education commissioner ordered an investigation into a video showing school children singing songs deifying Barack Obama.
B. Bernice Young Elementary School in New Jersey was put on temporary lock down yesterday after death threats were phoned to the school's principal.
In a statement to FOXNews.com, Education Department spokeswoman Beth Auerswald said the commissioner would review the matter. She said the commissioner wants to ensure that students can celebrate Black History Month without "inappropriate partisan politics in the classroom."
"In addition, it is our understanding the teacher in question retired at the end of the last school year," the statement continued.
Parents were outraged as the video depicting their children singing praises to Barack Hussein Obama went viral on YouTube and other media outlets yesterday.
Parents and conservatives accused the school of indoctrinating their children into Obama's "communist regime."
One song that the children sang was a remix of "Jesus Loves the Little Children," but Jesus' name was replaced with Obama's: "He said red, yellow, black or white/All are equal in his sight. Barack Hussein Obama."
"I'm stunned -- I can't believe it's our school," said Jim Pronchik, who told FOXNews.com his 8-year-old son Jimmy was one of the 18 students in the video. "We don't want to praise this guy like he's a god or an idol or a king or anything like that. That's the wrong message to be sending."
A teacher uses profanity to get through to a hardened streetwise thug who used the 'N' word in his classroom. This boy is a perfect example of a lost young man who doesn't have a male role model at home.
I'm not saying the teacher was right, because respect goes both ways. But we don't know what transpired before another student began recording the verbal exchange.
I did notice that all the boys were wearing shirts and ties, which might explain why they, for the most part, behaved civilized.
Kanye West has 99 problems and hard liquor is just one of them. We don't believe Kanye's camp when they say his drinking problem made him go onstage and act a fool at the VMAs. But we do give Kanye's camp a little credit for trying.
We know that Kanye had some sort of promo deal with Hennessy or he wouldn't have had that bottle in his hand for the entire show. It was also revealed that both Kanye and Taylor Swift are represented by the same agent. So there you have it.
Rumor has it Kanye is considering checking into rehab! According to Star, Kanye has been boozing ever since his mother Donda died one day after receiving a tummy tuck in November 2007.
An insider tells the mag, “His drinking is getting worse — and when he has too much, he can be mean and obnoxious. If he doesn’t get help soon, things could really spiral out of control.”
Apparently he’s planning on checking in after his Fame Kills tour with Lady Gaga wraps up in January. “Kanye’s afraid to go to rehab, but he knows he needs help and is taking steps in the right direction.”
Why wait until the tour is over to go into rehab? Why not go now? Because this excuse, like everything else Kanye does, is a bunch of BS.
Poor NeNe probably had an easier time swinging from that pole in the strip clubs than she's having trying to be the antagonist of RHOA. I'm sure Bravo convinced this small minded woman that she was the star of the show and urged her to ratchet up the drama to boost the ratings this season.
But unfortunately for her, the end result is that she's losing her once adoring fans who loved her sassiness and fierce independence. Now she's just a bully.
I still can't watch the show, but I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one who thinks RHOA is totally staged. Trust me, there aren't a bunch of Derek J's and Lawrence's walking around Atlanta with handbags and high heel pumps on.
AJC's Radio & TV blog has a recap of last night's episode 9. Nene's former fans bare their claws at her in the comments section. Here are my favorites:

NeNe – she is out of control. A book!?! Give me a break. I saw it in Costco and was stunned. Again, a Bravo thing to pump the show. Her house is empty. All the camera angles are set so you can’t see the barren walls and empty rooms. Her “co-author” is just now (in show-time) learning what will be in the book. I just can’t wait to spend my money to learn about her youth in Athens, GA. Should be exciting. Perhaps the book is a “tell all”. I’ll wait for the Cliff’s notes on it. So clearly she is being propped up by Bravo. And that has gone straight to her ego. I used to think she was really “real” – but now I don’t. I feel sorry for her and her husband. They obviously don’t have money (there’s no crime in that) and they are living a fake life. I would take any bet that her ring is a Cubic Zerconia (not that there’s anything wrong with that). Not having money is more the norm now-a-days, but acting like you do is another story.

I was a huge fan of NeNe’s but not anymore she want’s to be the center of attention and she is doing it the wrong way. NeNe you already tall and big and loud spoken you don’t have to bring attention to yourself you are the first seen when you are with the other ladies you stand over them like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. You should be more lady like, I truly hope you try and find some etiquette some where cause honey you need it. You need to concentrate on the lazy son you have living at home with you; your husband says he should be get a job in which I somewhat agree but how about stressing education since you don’t have any. NeNe I am so disappointed you said Gregg your husband was into property investment then I heard you on the radio say he was a motivational speaker c’mon give us a break. You just a big ole country girl who got lucky and you need to act like that is truly what happened, this what you have want last for long, trust me. “Smooches."
Casandra Pertusio from Florida shows her Michael Jackson tattoo as she starts a three day wait in the line to buy tickets to the Michael Jackson film at the LA Live theater in Los Angeles on September 24, 2009. The movie titled 'This Is It' will open in most countries around the world on October 28 for a limited two-week run. The film is being culled from more than 100 hours of rehearsal footage shot between April and June in Los Angeles, where Jackson prepared for his comeback before dying suddenly on June 25 at age 50.
Rapper Nelly was out & about in my hometown of London, England yesterday. I heard a rumor that twice-divorced Tameka Foster (Usher's ex) has been blowing up Nelly's cell phone lately. I'm guessing she's trying to hook up with him now that he's single too. I don't know how true this is, but they say Nelly stopped returning her calls and instructed his boys not to take her calls either. Hey, Tameka, JD is single.
Singer/songwriter Keri Hilson is so wrong for this outfit. The paps caught up with her signing autographs in London, England yesterday.
Two of the biggest attention whores in the country got together for a narcism love fest on Wednesday. By that I mean Oprah Winfrey and Jay Z. I'm not interested in what either of them had to say, but I'm sure you are.
