New Music: Beanie Sigel Destroys Jay Z
Aging rap star Jay Z should have just stayed retired. Even his former protégé Beanie Sigel is dissing him in this audio courtesy of 2 Dope Boyz.
Jay Z has come under fire recently for his anti-Christian lyrics on his track “Empire State of Mind.” Rumors that he is a devil worshiper continue to plague the 40-year-old rapper.
On this track, Beanie accuses Jay Z of being a snitch, among other cred damaging allegations. It does make you wonder how a former drug dealer (Jigga) remains unscathed while everyone else around him is getting popped on drug charges.
It might be time for Jay Z to step aside to preserve his legacy and to give Hip Hop a fighting chance to survive.

I’m not a Jay Z fan but in this particular case Beanie needs to take responsibility for his own life…or lack thereof. You can’t expect someone to constantly have your back if you’re foolish enough to keep getting in trouble with the law.

Jaz O is the first person Jay chitted on and left in the dust after he initially became popular.
I hear what Beanie is saying but why now? When he first got out he was given a choice and even though he initially said some sly words about Jay and DAME actually was there for him when he was locked up he didn’t choose to stay with Dame then eventually went back to Jay. I thought that was cold of Beans to do that to Dame myself.

Just heard the song, and all I can say is WOW.. To be honest with you, I don’t know what happened. I know they put a lot of money in the album, but it didn’t do as well as they anticipated it to do. It went gold, and that was great for me, because it was my first album I was like Hey! and coming from Detroit with nothing, going gold, and a hundred thousand okay I’m in the game. But this is a corporation we are talking about so it wasn’t enough.
So they called me on my prom night, I was getting out the shower, putting on lotion for prom and Jay Brown called me like ‘We are letting you go or whatever but you’re young and talented you’ll find something soon, or another situation.’ It sucked because Jay-Z didn’t call me or anyone else I was close to at the label, you know Jay Brown was cool but him and I weren’t really that close. That’s when the harsh reality of the music business really hit from me.
