New Music: Beanie Sigel Destroys Jay Z

Aging rap star Jay Z should have just stayed retired. Even his former protégé Beanie Sigel is dissing him in this audio courtesy of 2 Dope Boyz.

Jay Z has come under fire recently for his anti-Christian lyrics on his track “Empire State of Mind.” Rumors that he is a devil worshiper continue to plague the 40-year-old rapper.

On this track, Beanie accuses Jay Z of being a snitch, among other cred damaging allegations. It does make you wonder how a former drug dealer (Jigga) remains unscathed while everyone else around him is getting popped on drug charges.

It might be time for Jay Z to step aside to preserve his legacy and to give Hip Hop a fighting chance to survive.

I’m not a Jay Z fan but in this particular case Beanie needs to take responsibility for his own life…or lack thereof. You can’t expect someone to constantly have your back if you’re foolish enough to keep getting in trouble with the law.

Jaz O is the first person Jay chitted on and left in the dust after he initially became popular.

I hear what Beanie is saying but why now? When he first got out he was given a choice and even though he initially said some sly words about Jay and DAME actually was there for him when he was locked up he didn’t choose to stay with Dame then eventually went back to Jay. I thought that was cold of Beans to do that to Dame myself.

Jay is the same kind of business man that Dame was only he’s not as grimy as Dame was in doing the job but it’s just as nasty. He used and dropped Dame and Bigg when Lyor, Kevin and probably Matthew had blown his head up so much about how he is The Roc and how much more he can do by cutting out Dame and Bigg and he took the bait….money and power over his friend…EPIC FAIL IMO.

Beans is kind of a snitch though. How’s he going to say he has something on Jay to make Bey look at him differently? I know I’d want to know. He put it out there that there is some kind of secret what NO ONE knows about.

I think I like the way Dame has handled this more than anyone and I thought he was the major asshole. When he spoke on Beef you knew he was hurt at how Jay played him but he didn’t go into it too much. That’s what men do. IMO

Just heard the song, and all I can say is WOW.. Bean’s has ethered Jay, but like he said in the song he had his mouth closed for to long, and if it’s true that Jay called C-O-P on him when he was sitting front row at the BP3 concert in Philly cuz he wanted to remember when they was the R-O-C. That is foul, I guess he figured that was the last draw. Everyone has there breaking point and maybe that was it for him. But if you look at Jay’s track record from the Jaz O days and before that he has burned alot of bridges. The only people that are safe in his circle is his son’s (Bleek) and (Tata).

This album is coming out on Warner but what happened with Rocafella?

To be honest with you, I don’t know what happened. I know they put a lot of money in the album, but it didn’t do as well as they anticipated it to do. It went gold, and that was great for me, because it was my first album I was like Hey! and coming from Detroit with nothing, going gold, and a hundred thousand okay I’m in the game. But this is a corporation we are talking about so it wasn’t enough.

So they called me on my prom night, I was getting out the shower, putting on lotion for prom and Jay Brown called me like ‘We are letting you go or whatever but you’re young and talented you’ll find something soon, or another situation.’ It sucked because Jay-Z didn’t call me or anyone else I was close to at the label, you know Jay Brown was cool but him and I weren’t really that close. That’s when the harsh reality of the music business really hit from me.

I think Kanye would’ve made it with or without the Roc BUT I did hear that Dame was the one that pushed to sign him when Jay didn’t want to. They said Dame said keep him on The Roc just for the beats alone. Dame knew what he could do, not Jay. Super Ugly wasn’t an entire diss song about Nas but Ether was. Now back then if Jay made an entire diss record the same way Nas did when he went at Jay then I could judge.

lol kanye a better rapper than jay kanye wouldnt even tell you that lol thats funny. kanye makes great music but as a whole better than jay lyrically not even close. jay raps about a lot of different things but what most people hear and what gets radio play might be similar things. like he said he makes some throught provoking stuff yall say he fell off he make big pimpn he the greatest writer of the 21 century. and daisy nas cant freestyle sorry ive heard him freestyle and he sucks he is 2 much of a thinker he is what i call a hiphop poet his lyrics and the way he writes have a certain poet point of view. jay is just blessed with a gift to where its in a sense effortless for him to rap because it comes so easy to him. liken jay to a lebron where basketball is just second nature like by default he is better than 99% of people by his god given talent but he still works at his craft to give him that edge.

now scream u know and everybody else knows that kellz messed up the best of both worlds thing first the sex tape then when they did it again from being unprofessional. dude was late to all the shows then ran up out of madison square garden cause he thought he saw somebody with a gun so of course u gonna blame somebody other than yourself. kellz wouldnt even let neyo shine on that tour. and freestyling doesnt solidify you as being the greatest its plenty of people who can freestyle incredible but can make a good record to save there lives. supernatural is one of the best if not the best freestyler but how many people even know who he is or even have an album of his. and to say u dont freestyle anymore doesnt mean you cant do it. jay and dmx had a legendary freestyle battle back in the day
