I didn’t even know a judge could do this, but apparently, the judge is a Dwight Superman” Howard fan.
Howard went to court and got an injunction to shut up his baby mama Royce Reed and prevent her from smearing his good name in the streets and on a reality TV show.
Some baby mamas are a trip! they think because they gave birth to a baller’s seed and he’s paying all their bills, they are still entitled to use his name for financial gain and sully his reputation.
Let this be a warning to all you potential baby mamas who think you can drag your baby daddy’s name through all the blogs and star on a reality TV show: Ballers have rights too!
According to TMZ:
The Orlando Magic superstar went to war in October with Royce Lyndsay Reed — the mother of his 2-year-old son — after she allegedly called him a deadbeat dad on her blog, Twitter and even during an ESPN interview.
Dwight also alleges Royce “is attempting to become a celebrity” from being his baby mama … even agreeing to “participate in a VH1 television show called ‘NBA Wives.’”
Dwight ended up winning a permanent injunction against Royce — and according to the documents, she’s banned from “using or publishing (orally, in writing, or otherwise), directly, indirectly or by innuendo, [Dwight’s] name, nicknames, image, brand photographs, and/or likeness.”

I don’t think he’s a deadbeat dad per se, as he didn’t start paying CS til he went to court and got that paternity order. When the court said “okay it’s yours”, then he started paying….or so the report said.
I think it’s bogish how he doing her.
She should just get the CS check, let him see his son, and do her own thing. He seems so standoffish…he freaked her, and seems like he don’t wants no parts of it, outside that baby. It sure is. There was a lady on the radio this morning. 32 with HIV from her longtime boyfriend. She has kids. Very sad but she was SO upbeat. She said she doesn’t hide it at all and her family and kids knows but her friends are uncomfortable even discussing the topic with her.
She said she is trying to tell them to strap up and that there are SO many men in the club that don’t believe her when SHE TELLS THEM SHE HAS HIV and are STILL WILLING TO WANT TO SLEEP WITH HER after she tells them she has it. She says you wouldn’t know she had it if she didn’t tell you because she takes care of herself. I was shocked. She said dudes are trifling and you’d be surprised. It’s your husband, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew that she is turning down but there are other dirty chicks that won’t. Strap up PLEASE people and know who you’re laying down with.

I wish things were like they used to be in reference to “celebrity/sports figures” and their significant others. We used to never know, see or hear about the girlfriends, jumpoffs, mistresses, etc..
Charles I think #39 is a VERY good question and as a married woman my answer is yes and not just because I’m currently pregnant either.
The trust question is iffy because I’m the type of person that doesn’t like to be surprised or caught off guard. It has nothing to do with me not trusting my hubby because I absolutely trust him so I’ll say I like to keep myself informed (just in case) because you can never say never.
When I have my annual woman visit with the OBGYN she always asks if I want to tested. My answer is sure, why not. She use to ask me why and I say, hey I can guess that I’m sure I’m good or I can absolutely know that I’m sure I’m good. I never worry or expect them to come back positive but I’d rather know than not. That’s just me though.
Now i thought slander is if someone is smearing ya name and its not true. So she must of been smearing his name somehow…See…rick ross ain’t get his babymama to shut up…cuz its true lol

In reference to being married and getting tested that is one of the things I miss about the Army, you get tested every year, everybody does so since most soldiers date other soldiers the dating pool was a little “safer” per say. Not entirely but more so than in the general public since those that tested positive were discharged.
I’m a virgin (i say it loudly lol) and whomever i sleep will be tested for everything before he even comes close. Heck, we can go tested together…but i’m not sleeping with anyone who isn’t tested.
There are people out there who’ve never been tested for STDs or anything…that ish scares me.
And it doesn’t help that i have issues with trust either….

but I think those who obsessively get tested and “trust” their significant other..should check that relationship because either they are cheating or they think their s/o is cheating…..But it is better safe then sorry so I don’t see a problem with getting tested…

Thank you, Shauny. It’s been awhile for me in the sex ed/counseling dept but I remember reading something to that effect a couple of years ago.
Girls here at my job, and they are active duty, still have un-protected sex with random guys. I know they do because one just had a baby from a random guy. I think they are crazy. I would be even more wary of military men, because they seem to think they are safe, even when they go TDY all over the world and sleep with random people from even third world countries. I worked in the STD clinic for a year and let me tell you, no matter how many times we passed out condems on the aircraft, they still came home with a burn or an itch.
I understand that qtip and you are completely right. I was just saying that when in the army at least you know that everyone is tested including yourself on a regular schedule and it’s mandatory for everyone. By no way is it 100% safe but better than your average person on the street.

Can’t the virus stay dormait for up to 10 yrs? Ppl think because someone does not look sick they are not sick. Aids really does not have a face nor does it discriminate. There is nothing wrong getting an Aids test, before marriage, durning marriage and after marriage. Too many DL men. I would worry if my hubby has ever been to jail/prison or was a drug addict. I know none of those to be the case and I also know he has not had any blood transfusions or organ donations. He has not had any surgeries. Some ppl back in the day got Aids from unsterile hospital supplies being reused.

(that is how she contracted…)
