Why can’t tennis superstars Venus Williams and her sister Serena Williams show some respect for their fans and cover themselves up? This is what Venus chose to show up in for her first round tennis match at the French Open on Sunday.
Even though Venus is wearing sports shorts in the above picture, it doesn’t appear that way because she deliberately wore a nude color material to blend in with her skin. Then there’s her black, lace tennis garment with red trim that looks more like a Victoria’s Secret corset than a tennis dress!
Doesn’t the World Tennis Federation have a dress code for tennis players?
With all the controversy surrounding Venus’s black, lacy, faux see-through outfit, it almost went unnoticed that she beat Switzerland’s Patty Schnyder 6-3, 6-3 during their first round match of the French Open tennis tournament at the Roland Garros stadium in Paris on Sunday (May 23).
SCANDAL: Poor Fergie Got Caught With Her Hand in the Cookie Jar
British royal subject Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess of York, will be eating crow with a side order of humble pie for some time to come.
That is because the 50-year-old, known affectionately as “Fergie,” fell victim to a sophisticated sting operation organized by British tabloid News of the World that has tongues wagging on both sides of the Atlantic today.
Poor Sarah was caught on camera taking a $40,000 cash bribe from a fake oil sheik in return for hooking him up with her ex-husband, Britain’s Prince Andrew — The Duke of York, and son of the Queen of England.
The $40,000 was a cash advance on $500,000 that the fake sheik promised to deliver to Sarah at a later date after she introduced him to Prince Andrew.
Sarah was caught on film saying:
“He knows that he’s had to underwrite me up to now because I’ve got no money. So if you want to meet him in your business, look after me and he’ll look after you. . . you’ll get it back tenfold.”
Sarah can also be heard on the video saying her ex-husband, the prince, would never take a penny from anyone because he is “Whiter than white.”
Fergie was apparently so destitute while living under the roof of the Royal family, that she risked her reputation and her shaky standing with the Queen.

Oscar winner Halle Berry was spotted leaving her Genesee offices today after a few hours of volunteering at the non-profit organization in Baldwin Hills, CA. It should be against the law for a 45-year-old woman to be this insanely gawgeous without the benefit of makeup or hair weave! Like fine wine, Halle only gets better with age.

Actor/comedian/singer Jaime Foxx was spotted arriving at Katsuya restaurant in Hollywood, CA with his daughter Corrine Foxx. By the way, Jamie is not gay. I thought I’d throw that in here because I received a confirmation from a very well-connected source who should know (*wink wink*).
Beyonce – Halo (Alternate Version)
When I first heard about this alternate version to Beyonce’s hit single “Halo”, I thought “alternate” meant she remixed the track with a more alternative sound. Instead, what we see is Beyonce’s director/producer skills on display.
Why is Beyonce producing music videos? I thought she was on hiatus from the music industry? Maybe she’s bored?
Surprisingly, I like this video. It shows a more laid back, fresh faced Beyonce than we’re used to seeing.
“Halo” is by far my favorite song in Bey’s repertoire. The only other song of hers that I like is “Hello.” Everything else she sings sounds like screeching white noise and I can’t take it.
Justin Bieber = 0, Revolving Door = 1
This viral video shows pop singer and teen heartthrob Justin Bieber getting conked on the head by a revolving door. Afterwards, Justin gave a play-by-play recap of his boxing match with the door. He is so funny! I like Justin. He’s so down to earth.
I just found out the other day that his main bodyguard (the brotha you see in most pictures with Justin) follows me on Twitter. Does that mean Justin himself reads Sandrarose.com?
California Jury Acquits Shooter in Rapper Dolla’s Death
A California jury today acquitted an Atlanta man in the shooting death of rising Atlanta rapper Dolla at a LA mall one year ago Tuesday.
Jurors on Friday rejected prosecutors’ contentions that the killing of Dolla, whose real name was Roderick Anthony Burton II, was a callous act of apparent revenge.
Burton and his accused shooter, Aubrey Louis Berry, had been involved in a fight at an Atlanta club less than two weeks before the shooting last May.
Berry hugged his attorney after the verdict was read while Burton’s family sobbed.
Berry’s attorney had contended the shooting was an act of self-defense, emphasizing that Burton glorified a violent gangster lifestyle in his rap lyrics and online videos.

Janet Jackson abandoned her short hair cut and glued a few pieces back in her hair to give it volume and fullness. Can you blame her? Janet had the blogs buzzing when pictures of her sporting her new wet look cut landed online. It was obvious from the pics that Janet’s hair was thinning on the sides and front. Janet attended the London preview screening of ‘Why Did I Get Married’ at Brixton Ritzy today. Wow she looks hawt!
