Don’t Tell Chris Brown F.A.M.E. Will Not Do 1 Million

According to music industry barometer, Hits Daily Double, Chris Brown’s fourth studio album, F.A.M.E. is on pace to sell 250-275k in the first week.

That’s a far cry from the 1 million in sales that Brown had hoped for. In an interview with Hot 97 DJ Angie Martinez, Brown said, “I would love to do like a mill the first week, honestly.” But sadly, it wasn’t to be.

With over 2 million rabid Stans, er, followers on Twitter, 250k in sales is laughable.

It will probably anger Brown enough to throw another chair through a window. But he can find a little comfort in the fact that he didn’t do Soulja Boy numbers (15k in the first week).

The 250k sales figure makes F.A.M.E. the 2nd largest seller of the year for Jive Records.

F.A.M.E. stands for “Forgive All My Enemies.”

Lawrence Taylor’s Teenage Prostitute Wants To Get Paid

Ex NY Giants star Lawrence Taylor was sentenced yesterday to six months probation for soliciting sex from an underaged prostitute in May 2010.

The 16-year-old sex worker who received $300 from the former football great in exchange for sexual favors, now wants to really get paid.

Taylor, 52, was accompanied to court yesterday by his beautiful wife, Lynette. The couple have a 5-year-old son together.

Holding a press conference outside the court after the sentencing was Christina Fierro, now 17, and her famed attorney Gloria Allred. Although Allred didn’t mention a lawsuit, her mere presence suggests that one is in the works.

In the meantime, Taylor appeared on Fox News’ Studio B with Shephard Smith last night, where he said “everybody” solicits sex from prostitutes.

“It’s the oldest profession in the world,” he said. “Everybody does it.”

Taylor added: “I am not the cause of prostitution – I didn’t pick her up in no playground, she wasn’t hiding behind a school bus, this is a working girl who came to my room.

“Its the world of prostitution you never what you are going to get. I don’t card them, I don’t ask for a birth certificate,” he said referring to the fact that Fierro told him she was 19.

“I had been on the road 10- 11 days, I made a phone call to a friend of mine and he made a phone call.”

But Fierro says she’s a victim — not a prostitute — who was forced to go to Taylor’s room by her pimp, a hardened criminal who was later arrested and jailed.

Fierro accused Taylor of taking “something precious” from her when she was only 16-years-old. She said she believes Taylor knew she had been beaten by her pimp and was underage.

Taylor, who must register as a sex offender, will have another hearing on April 12 to decide at what level he will be classified on the sex offender register.

Jay Z Ghostwriter to Chris Brown: “Seek Therapy”

Industry insiders have been whispering for months about the mental problems that continue to plague troubled singer Chris Brown.

But after Brown’s sensational meltdown yesterday at the ‘Good Morning America’ studios in NYC, one industry insider is publicly urging the 21-year-old to seek mental health treatment.

In an article for BET.com titled “The Problem With Chris Brown,” noted journalist dream hampton, who penned Jay Z’s biography, Decoded, writes:

He clearly doesn’t have the kind of support system that is encouraging—even insisting—him to seek mental health treatment. His mother is an enabler, and his handlers huddled him into a truck the night he boxed in Rihanna’s face, leaving her to fend for herself—an incredible misstep. Even if they hated Rihanna, they had to know leaving her there would lead to a publicity Chernobyl. These handlers were twice his age.

In lieu of therapy, Chris Brown has Twitter. His small army of fans uses the hashtag #teambreezy to avoid forcing the still young, imploding star to seek the therapy he so desperately needs to not become his stepfather. It is tragic. He’s young enough to be saved. Imagine what a true public healing would do for young Black teenagers entangled in the deadly dance that is domestic violence.

R.I.P. Elizabeth Taylor

According to online reports, Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor passed away today of congestive heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. She was 79.

The former child star and two-time Academy Award winner was most famous for her films “National Velvet,” “Cleopatra,” and “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

She was also notable for her impressive diamond jewelry collection and her notorious love life, which included 8 marriages to 7 men (she married actor Richard Burton twice).

“I never planned to acquire a lot of jewels or a lot of husbands,” Taylor said in her last major interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine. “I have been supremely lucky in my life in that I have known great love, and of course, I am the temporary custodian of some incredible and beautiful things.”

Chris Brown Dodges Another Bullet; ABC Will Not Press Charges

According to TMZ.com, ABC network will not press charges against troubled singer Chris Brown for destruction of private property after he went on a profanity-laced rampage inside the GMA studio yesterday morning.

That’s especially good news for CB — because he’s currently on probation for beating up Rihanna …
and could have faced prison time if the judge violated his probation on grounds he committed vandalism.

We’re told the judge will not violate Chris’ probation unless New York prosecutes him … and that’s not going to happen.

This news surely means that ABC will get that exclusive interview that was promised by Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos.

If you recall, a loyal reader who works for ABC emailed us yesterday to say that ABC and Geragos were in talks to bring Brown back for an exclusive interview to explain his bad behavior — and to possibly apologize to co-host Robin Roberts.

That interview — and apology — could take place as soon as tomorrow (Thursday).

My ABC source revealed that “higher ups” at ABC — the ones who cut the checks — have “no tolerance” for Brown’s behavior and they wanted to press charges for vandalism.

But the ABC execs who are in charge of booking artists saw blockbuster ratings in store for them if they scored the interview with Brown.

While Brown has dodged this bullet, it is clear that he is a severely troubled young man who is still a danger to himself and others. The situation could have been much worse if that chair went through the window and landed on someone in the street below.

This latest chapter in Brown’s sad story will only feed his delusion that he is omnipotent, entitled and above the law.

Brown’s story will not end well. And I predict the final chapter will be written soon.

Ciara Throws Shade At Rihanna

Moments after I put up my post this morning about Rihanna canceling her U.S. tour due to slow ticket sales, Ciara took to her Twitter page and tweeted: “well, well, well……u dont say…”

If you recall, Ciara and Rihanna recently dissed each other on Twitter.com. At the time, Rihanna tweeted that Ciara couldn’t book a stage.
