VH1 and Shaunie O’Neal fire 3 cast members due to falling ratings
According to gossip website TMZ.com, VH1 and Shaq’s ex Shaunie O’Neal have axed 3 cast members of the problematic Basketball Wives reality show. If true, it can be assumed that VH1 and Shaunie found 3 new cast members — who were recruited to be “friends” of the other cast members.
A source told TMZ that Royce Reed, left, Jennifer Williams (right) and Kesha Nichols (center) also got their walking papers — and will be replaced next season.
TMZ claims Royce was axed because her baby daddy, Dwight Howard, got a judge to force Royce to keep his name out of her mouth. Jennifer was let go because she filed a fake lawsuit against Nia Crooks for slapping her on the show, and Kesha was just too “boring.”
If this is true, the women are being fired to make room for new cast members who will breathe life into the show’s falling ratings.
As you know, most urban reality shows are scripted urban soap operas surrounding a cast of fake “friends” who really didn’t know each other until they met to read the scripts for the first time.
Networks such as VH1 and Bravo have audiences of gullible women (and some men) who believe everything the network throws at them. Thanks to blogs and other intellectuals, the public is now more aware of the wicked motivations behind these so-called urban “reality” shows.
An inside source told me that VH1 is dismayed that I seem to know so much about what’s going on behind the scenes. The source told me that one of the producers asked her if she was telling me anything about the cast members. But she didn’t have to tell me anything. It really doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see through their bullsh*t.

I could barely watch that reunion….I flipped back and forth between it. This was the worst season and the most boring at times too.

There ratings were good last season. Royce n Keisha add nothing to the show. Jen was only entertaining when she was friends w/Eve or fussing w/Eric. That being said this needs to be their last season same w/RHOA the show and ladies have run their courses time for everybody to move on to their next project.

Scrappy came in with his blue bandana around his head like Pac use to wear. Scrappy was super sexy to me. I like a hood dude so he was just my type. JUDE NOT lol
All the ladies of the cast were gorgeous & Nina Brown was as well. (I think my fav will be Scrappy’s girl/baby mama) Frank Ski was nice & took a pic with me & laughed & joked.
NOW THE SHOW…. THE SHOW IS TOO GOOD!!! I will defiantly be tuning in. I love “scripted drama” I love hood things, and this is all that & then some.
The show is almost identical to New York. You gotta hood mama like Jim Jones mother. There is a relationship where the man is a nobody, then becomes somebody, & leave the ride or die, then get backs with her, yada yada. That’s Scrappy & his girl. A former stripper now an “artist”
All & all it was a great show, very dramafied & will bring in the ratings.

The only reason the got rid of ole girl was because of some BS
They thought by not filming with her and shait it would make her look bad…but Royce not being in the group made her seem smarter than the Older ones on the show… she had more sense… maybe not about Men but Everything else she was on point. I still say no matter what.. Shaq is laughing his ass off right now. The only way Shaunie can produce any other TV shows without people thinking bad she’ll have to take her name off of it.
So, let me make sure I understand this.
Ratings are failing. People are telling you that they’re simply not interested in your gutter, toilet-b*tch, incessant childish behaviors… and to repair your “image” and recoup the fans you lost as a result of your ghetto behaviors, you decide to fire the ONLY 3 broads on the show who conducted themselves like women?
Your justification(s):
1) Fired because her baby daddy doesn’t want her to mention his name (although, since the inception of the show, she’s never mentioned his name ONCE).
2) Because when grown a$$ women with adult children start pulling off their earrings and start embarrassing themselves in public places, like a REAL lady, she removes herself from those ignorant situations
3) Because she decided that she would handle someone who decided that they reserve the right to put their hands on her because they didn’t like what she said by calling the police, instead of posse’n up some equally ratchet broads and handling it, or because she didn’t “take her a$$ whoopin’ like a woman and keep it movin’.”
I think Shaunie has officially let her ignorance and refusal to adhere to the “reality” of what people are clearly saying they’re tired of dealing with will be her undoing.
I know I’m out next season. Particularly after watching Shaunie try to convince Jennifer that she is dead wrong for calling the police on a broad who thought it was OK to slap her.
Not ONCE did Tammi, Evelyn, or Shaunie sit the broad who SLAPPED Jennifer down and say, “You were dead a$$ wrong, I don’t care WHAT she said, you don’t earn the right to put your hands on her!” Not once did they say that to HER.
But to JENNIFER, you sat on TV in front of whites, blacks, messikens, etc and tried to convince the world that the way “we” handle things in black America is, “no matter WHAT a person does to you physically, you don’t call the police on them because they could lose their jobs, homes, etc.
Sooo, was Naya concerned about losing any of that when she hit Jennifer?
SMH @ the sadness of it all.

Kesha really didn’t bring anything to the show and actually neither did the other two that are being let go. It’s gotten to the point that Jennifers voice is just grinding on my nerves. However the fighting and damn near 50 year old women jumping over tables and spitting sun flower seeds on the ground is too much for me too. It was interesting at first but I think the show has definitely run it’s course. Get out while the gettin is good. That’s my say.
