Did Lil Wayne hire bodyguards to protect his only daughter from Memphitz?
It seems rapper Lil Wayne believes the stories about former music exec Memphitz’s alleged violent tendencies. Memphitz, real name Mickey Wright, filed a defamation lawsuit today in Atlanta against his former artist (and former lover) K. Michelle and Viacom (VH1′s parent company).
K. Michelle, who is a cast member of VH1′s popular reality show Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, accused Memphitz of stealing her recording budget and assaulting her. But Memphitz vigorously denies those accusations.
According to a website called Gossip Extra, Weezy isn’t taking any chances with his seed. The diminutive rapper has allegedly hired bodyguards — at a cost of $10,000 a month — to keep his only daughter, Reginae, safe from Memphitz’s alleged mood swings.
“You bet that Lil Wayne is concerned,” a source in Wright’s camp told Gossip Extra. “He mostly wants to make sure their daughter never gets caught in the middle of anything.”
The bodyguards are supposedly watching over Reginae — not her mother, Toya.

If Lil Gay hired body guards, thats a bitchmoove in itself. Go over there and talk to the guy you think will harm your kid, and tell him in person what time it is.
I believe K Michelle but who am I? and who the eff is Rasheeda? and the afterthought that is Toya? Who cares if anyone believes her. As long as she knows the truth.

I read this story somewhere else and it just doesn’t have the ring of truth. It would require Memphitz to say, “Sure Wayne, you can have your security post up in my house to make sure I don’t put dem paws on your peoples.” If he has any balls at all he wouldn’t agree to such a thing nor would Toya allow it.
K. Michelle didn’t say he was beating her on the regular. She said he snapped on her one day. We’ve seen her mouth in action and she hit Karlie with silverware for no reason. I want to slap the shat out of her at times. Toya is nothing like her. I don’t think she needs security.

It’s not that we love K’s “ignant ass”, because in all honesty they have all shared moments of ignorant bliss. But when speaking on Shug Avery (Rasheeda-the granny)and her behavior towards K concerning an incident for which she was not involved let’s just say her behavior is less than desirable. We know kirk’s kids don’t have “good hair” how did they feel when she referenced that woman as nappy head? What will her grandchildren think when say granny on tv name calling? What type of example is Shug setting come on now! #In that order….
ok so rasheeda says k has nappy hair but how many derogatory comments did k make? as the poster said, she started off the show going in and wouldn’t stop. loud, long, country, and wrong! rasheeda said, after kmichelle was all said and done, that she didn’t believe it.
i mean, people have the right to believe or not believe. saying it over and over and trying to force it onto his friends is not going to convince them. it’s a hurtful thing for people to not believe what you say but your attitude (such as that of evelyn) plays a huge part in how people perceive you.
if he’s spending anything on security, which I highly doubt, it definitely isn’t 10g’s a month. Wouldn’t those resources be better spent on resolving the alleged issue vs security for a kid? I call bs on this one, sorry.
If he felt she needs shielding or protected, why not take steps to get some form of custody? IDK why Memphitz wont just fess up to beating K. Michelle’s ass. It’s ok to say that’s who I once was in life.
Run it back….Rasheeda got out of pocket FIRST! Who cares that she doesn’t believe K? Shug is entitled to her opinion. BUT she knew who her “friends” were before she started the show, so why break bread and tee hee and ha ha with a woman YOU THINK is unstable? Shug’s story line was WHACK (as is her music), maybe that’s why she wanted to associate (picnics in the park, dinners etc) with K in the first place. The fact of the matter is no one knows what really happened between THAT MAN and THAT WOMAN, and if Shug were building an authentic realtionship with K she wouldn’t try to discredit her. You keep ish like that to yourself because it is OFFENSIVE in itself and YOU DON’T KNOW because you were not there! K talked about it (a lot even) but not with every interaction, so I didn’t see her trying force it. They all have displayed poor attitudes and child like behavior. K is not alone!
IDK if the story of security being hired is authentic, seems like a Dad would physically intervene himself…
K Michelle threated to slap Toya the next time their paths cross…
