Reporter: Christopher Dorner’s Mother Ate Chips and Salsa While Watching Standoff On TV
A reporter for a CBS news affiliate station in Los Angeles claims she spoke with Christopher Dorner’s mother as the woman watched her son’s saga unfold on live TV in a restaurant.
CBS2/KCAL9’s Michele Gile said a woman matching Dorner’s mother’s description dined with a female friend at La Capilla Mexican Restaurant in La Palma around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Gile said the 62-year-old woman drank a glass of white wine and ate chips and salsa as she watched the police standoff with Dorner on a TV in the restaurant.
Gile says she approached the two women and asked them if they knew Dorner. Both women shook their heads “no.”
After the KCAL camera crew and Gile left the restaurant, a restaurant worker said the woman began asking him “a lot” of questions.
“Right after you left, she got nervous. She started asking me questions, like if I knew (Dorner)… what I know about him… stuff like that,” said Joseph Munoz. “She was watching the TV, but she wasn’t really concerned about it. She was busy talking to her friend, like it was just an everyday thing,” said Joseph Munoz.
Later, Gile and her camera crew spotted the same woman pull into the driveway and go in the house where Dorner’s mother lives in La Palma, CA.
Gile said neighbors identified the woman as Dorner’s mother.
This makes sense if Dorner was a narcissist as some psychologists believe. Most children of narcissists grow up to be narcissistic themselves. Narcissists have no empathy or feelings for the suffering of others. Not even their own children.

Now I don’t for a minute condone his actions…wrong is wrong. But I too wonder if this case would have had a different outcome, especially if he had been white? Did law enforcement try to negotiate with him, or what?
As for Whites in positions of power, you know they will come up with all types of torture tactics when it comes to Black folk. Back in the day it was chains and extermination through diseases. Further down the chronological line it was whippings and lynchings to “keep us in our place.” They also make sure to execute both us and Hispanics at a rate disproportionate to Whites, so burning is not out of the realm of comprehension. #jmo
