Ex-convict Apollo Nida seems to be taking his latest brush with the law lightly.
Nida, 35, who is married to local attorney and reality TV star Pheadra Parks, 44, was arrested last week and charged with bank fraud and identity theft. Nida spent 5 years in state prison — from 2004 through 2009 — for his role in an auto title theft ring.
Facing multiple serious federal charges that could land him in federal prison, Nida seems to be taking it all in stride.
On Tuesday, Nida retweeted a Forbes.com article written by a “forensic accountant” titled “The Miseducation of Aollo Nida” — an obvious takeoff on singer Lauryn Hill’s Grammy winning debut album, ?The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

I too used to date a guy similar to Apollo in looks and personality. He was very manipulative and very convincing. Hindsight showed me his true colors. We dated for 2 years then he just disappeared. Come to find out he had robbed a bank and was in prison. He did about 70% of his time and was released. I no longer deal with him in a personal manner, but personality wise he has not changed. But all the while we dated he was using people and swindling them out of money. I did not know what was going on and if I did I would’ve left him alone. That being said I think Phaedra turned a blind eye to what was going on with him because she didn’t really want to know. And yes I believe he is a TRUE opportunist that only loves himself.

He said traffic just stopped, people left cars, feel asleep in cars on both sides of I-285W, he sat at Hollowell Exit for 6 hours without moving. Words cannot express the way I was feeling, his phone went dead around 11pm, by 4am I left my babies in the house and drove to the top of my subdivision like SupaWoman but unoccupied cars blocked all roads- its was like the Walking Dead. There was a BMW that literally drove up a pole and was sitting there with two back tires on the ground, the driver had to jump down to get out the dang car.

Well, full disclosure, so gone ahead and clown me if you want, but my guy was driving the bus when I met him. And my well-paid self was on the bus because i had been dealing with some nothing arse dudes and my credit and money was all jacked up. i was really off the whole relationship thing anyway because i figured i was making all the wrong choices and was better off doing bad by myself. this guy was a homeowner by the time he was 30 while i was still in my little apt. long story short, because he was a more responsible level-headed guy who maintained his credit score, didn’t live above his means, and wasn’t competing with the jones’ HE was able to buy a vehicle for miss high earner over here with the bad credit. not too long after that HE put ME in a house in a nice neighborhood. I’m different though, cause i believe that my steps are ordered by GOD, and when I decided to stop accepting less than what HE intended for me, the right one found me. if i had been worrying about the wrong thing (as Gigi said) I would have missed out on a good man. but that’s just me… i have lived

This is the same day Apollo surrendered to authorities.
1. Why wait until January 23rd to post a ‘Happy New Year’ message?
2. Notice the last sentence where she states how busy she is. She wants readers to believe that she has been so busy, she never had time to question Apollo about his business and what he was doing to earn money. Once Apollo had turned himself in, she had to hurry up and try to get justification posted as to why she would have no knowledge of what Apollo was doing (She was too busy).
“Everybody knows” that there is no way Phaedra would not want to know exactly how much money Apollo is earning and how he is earning it. I would bet that if Phaedra/Apollo were asked the name of ONE legitimate client of his ‘recovery’ businesses…or any other business he has operated…they would be unable to provide a single name.
On RHOA, Apollo said that he has spent upwards of $8k in a night at a strip club…8K of “his” money. Phaedra said nothing to indicate that she had a problem with this.
For a wife to be cool with her husband spending 8K in a strip club, the wife would have to know that said spouse is bringing in a substantial income – income that she would have direct knowledge of in order to know that her husband is able to afford to blow this kind of money.
There is no way Phaedra can explain this away. She can’t say that she was too busy to know what Apollo was doing to earn money.
I look forward to seeing future indictments that are connected to Apollo’s, because we all know that Apollo does not possess the brain power to pull something like this off on his own.
I think Phaedra the mastermind like Angela Stanton said and that Phaedra was hoping marrying Apollo would help her when this day came. True, they can’t force you to testify against your spouse, but please believe that for immunity he will. That’s probably why he is so nonchalant.
