Street pharmaceuticals salesman Paul Wall has been ordered to present a valid prescription for the prescription drug Codeine found in his favorite beverage Purple drank.
The former rapper, whose real name is Paul Slayton, and his business partner Baby Bash were arrested and charged with felony drug possession early Friday in Houston, Texas.
Slayton, and Bash, aka Ronnie Rey Bryant, were also charged with felony intent to distribute between four and 400 grams of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), following a raid on a building in Houston.
The two rappers appeared in court for a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, Dec. 27. They were each released on $20,000 bond, according to WENN.com.
The presiding judge demanded a valid prescription after Wall said he would test positive for the controlled substances codeine, hydrocodone and Ativan - medication he claims he is taking for chronic back pain.
Neither Wall nor Bash entered a plea on Tuesday, and an arraignment has been scheduled for January 17, 2017.
Both stars were previously busted together for marijuana possession in 2011.
