Michael Jordan Paternity Suit Dropped

An Atlanta woman who claimed NBA legend Michael Jordan fathered her now 16-year-old son has dropped her paternity suit, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

“Ms. Smith has authorized a dismissal of the current suit against Mr. Jordan,” Pamela Y. Smith’s attorney, Randall M. Kessler told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution via email on Monday.

The two sides met for a status hearing last week in Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane’s courtroom. Jordan was not present.
