R&B singer Monica Brown held a meet and greet for fans a CD signing at the Julian Scott Boutique in Atlanta’s high end Phipps Plaza to promote her new CD Code Red on Sunday, Dec. 20. Monica’s husband, Shannon Brown, and their children were there to lend support. According to early estimates, Code Red will sell 30K-35K in the 1st week. Fans in Atlanta complained that the album was sold out at Best Buy stores.

Peanuts Movie Screening Hosted by Ludacris

Atlanta’s stars and notables turned out for the ATL screening of the Peanuts movie, coming to a theater near you on Nov. 6.

V-103’s Ryan Cameron, his friend Phaedra Parks; socialite Monyetta Shaw and her twins, Mason and Madilyn, and more attended the screening (for those of you who can’t take a joke, I know Ne-Yo’s kids aren’t twins). The movie screening was sponsored by rap mogul Ludacris and his Ludacris Foundation. Lots of kids got a chance to see the movie ahead of its national release. And, of course, popcorn, hot dogs, beverages and Jujube’s were all on the house, courtesy of Uncle Luda.

Eudoxie Bridges Sip and Shop

Eudoxie Bridges, wife of hip hop mogul Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, held a Sip & Shop at Intermix Buckhead at the Shops of Buckhead in Atlanta on Thursday.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Eudoxie’s non-profit charity Unspoken Angels to raise funds for domestic violence awareness month.

Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James easily dismantled the Atlanta Hawks’ defense on the road at the Philips Arena in Atlanta Wednesday night. The sexy power forward finished with a humble 31 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. While Cavs guard J.R. Smith contributed a record 8 three pointers by a bench player in an eastern conf. finals game. Game 2 is Friday in Atlanta. The Cavs are expected to sweep the 7-game series.
