…it’s time for a change. I am tired of hearing about strippers, bling, and sex. can someone make a song about love, marriage, investing, and being happy? Songs my family and I can dance to with hearing the f’ bomb every other word? Is that too much to ask?
As I wrote in an earlier post: the music industry is listening. Label A&Rs are putting down their X Box controllers and doing the jobs they’re getting paid to do. They know they have no choice but to change the game because the old Hip Hop as we know it is dead.
This is why I love this video and song by Sheek Louch. It takes us back to a time when rappers used their skills in creative and imaginative ways. Feel good Hip Hop is back!
