Denver Post: Morgan Freeman’s Wife Consulted a Divorce Attorney

I read some of the comments in the Driving Miss Daisy post and I see the typical responses from clueless women who don’t find it strange that a man is driving around the sticks late at night with a woman who isn’t his wife.

Once again I am called a man hater for trying to hip you ladies to the truth. I guess that’s why the divorce rate is so high in our community?

Thank you to loyal reader Neicy for pointing out the fact that Morgan Freeman’s wife sought a divorce from Freeman after she found out he was hitting on one of her “friends”. Care to take a guess who that “friend” is?

Freeman’s wife Myrna, 67, is consulting a divorce attorney after hearing that Morgan, 71, cheated on her, the report says.

His wife reportedly sought out the attorney after learning that Freeman had become “intimate” with a woman who had been her friend, a source told the Enquirer. READ MORE…

Rule #1: Never have your female friends in your home around your man. When you ask a man to be faithful you put intense pressure on him because their brains are not designed for that.

I know women who won’t invite their female friends to their house around their men. They meet their girls at the club for girl’s night out or for brunch at their favorite restaurant. If your female friend spends more time at your house than at her own, that spells trouble!

Don’t be dumb! Put that n*gga out at the first sign of trouble! Don’t wait until you’re 67 to get a divorce or end up in a freezer.

Since black people don’t even be getting married like that my guess would be the the divorce rate amoung whites is just as high if not higher. BUT I personally would be pissed if my man was alone with any woman. I’m not going to assume that Morgan is cheating with this lady, but it was inappropriate, in my opinion, for him to be alone with her anytime let alone at night. As for his wife wanting to divorce him over a friend, I doubt it was this friend as it seems that at least up until the time of the accident they were still friends.

How about finding trustworthy FRIENDS and a trustworthy man, they may seem rare but they do exist, a REAL FRIEND would never sleep with her FRIEND’S man regardless anyway. If a man is going to cheat he is going to cheat. He doesn’t need to wait until you bring an ASSOCIATE home to be low down enough to hit on/or sleep with her. If an ASSOCIATE is low down enough to hit on/sleep with your man, she doesn’t need the opportunity to do so when she comes to your house.

It depends on the circumstances and the woman if I would have a problem with him taking her home by himself or not.

As far as keeping certain friends away from my man – THEY KNOW! It’s one of those silent rules that the trifling ones already know about. I have a “new sister-in-law” that tries to use the “that’s my brother-in-law” crap to express her love for family. Most of my true friends wouldnt do it. The trifling ones will take an a@@s-whoopin just to try it.

Uhm my best friend with whom I have known since kindergarten. We have NEVER and I repeat NEVER, fell out over anything! But……..this chick, smokes, drinks, SNORTS, was a major “get arounder”, theif then turned LESBIAN and that has never deterred me from being her “friend”. I feel like The Almighty places ppl in your life for a reason. I think she is now beyond a friend and more like a sister. If something happened in my life and MY WHOLE family was taken away (Almighty forbid) guess who would be next of kin. HER. I don’t drink, or do drugs. I don’t hang in the streets or anything. I also don’t have thin skin. I would be no good if something ever happened to her. I pray for my friend on the daily. We talk about her drug use and everything. I tell my friend I love her all the time. We have an unbreakable bond. But she and I are on totally opposite ends when it comes to the way we live our lives. She at one time thought she was going to get a key to my house, uhm NO. I would NEVER bring her around my male counterparts when she wasn’t “lesbian”. Being I knew who I was dealing with at the time and even still. You know the saying “guilty by association” well ppl who know us, know that “it’s not me, but her” who has the problem. At one point in time I felt as though I was being a bad friend by not getting her help. But I also have a life that I have to live and I can’t be worried about some grown ass woman who makes a choice to live, work and act the way she does. I think I’m more of a friend for being there to listen to her when she needs it and giving her “tough love”. But I’m still her friend, regardless. It depends on the friend whether they have to go or not. The friend I told I could not be friends with anymore was not a long time friend so I had no bond there. I am a firm believer in the quality of friendship over quantity. I have been friends with my best friend since the 7th grade. I also have 2 friends I have been friends with since kindergarden.
