I love, love, LOVE me some Teena Marie! I can’t start my morning without listening to Teena Marie’s classic hit “Ooo La La La”. That’s my morning cup of java!

But who knew Miss Tee had a grown ass daughter? I found these pics last night when i was on Miss Lynn Allen Jeter‘s Myspace page looking for pics. Apparently, Teena Marie is one of Miss Jeter’s clients, or a close friend. Her daughter’s name is Alia Rose and I think she’s an aspiring actress.

Sandra, who you telling girl; I LOVE LADY T! She has been overlooked in the world of R & B and I hate that. Teena is the TRUTH and I wish R & B would give her her props.

I was wondering when pics of her daughter would surface. If you have her last album (La Dona) her daughter Ali is on it. Also, when she did her stint on that reality show that TBoz and Chili (R U The Girl) did, Teena would always talk about her daughter and how talented she was. She is a really pretty girl and if she can blow like her mama; watch out!

The most high knows we are all tested at some point or another, if I wans’t on this site and listening to music @ my desk … I know I would have had multiple altercations … soemtimes because of the position people have they think they can say anything and that just doesn’t work with me. Race and your economic class don’t mean you can opt to not respect people … ok … that was my rant.

I hear you … it must be something in the air …

I am not in the mood today and really haven’t been for the last 2 weeks. The work isn’t the issue … its the people here … my company finalized a merger about a year ago and everyone left is not receiving there severance packages so they are all walking around with attitudes because they feel screwed, plus the compnay we merged with is now sharing the same office, new faces, new policies, etc.

While all of the former co workers are home receiving unemployment and there salary because of displacement, we are all still here … cahnging roles and dealing with the new positions they ahev created for us …..

Instead of being thankful, everyone is complaining and its not like 1 hr of the day its all day … even if you aren’t talking to me and I can here your conversation two cubes away you need to just suck it up and shut the hell up ….

Off the record: Has anyone ever been or heard of Hairston’s? My friend told me they are looking for new employees. Thinking about getting a Par-time gig there for sh*its and giggles because it is fairly close to my home. I am spending to much money running around Atlanta trying to go here there and everywhere. If I am going to be on the scene might as well be onthe scene clocking dough.

@ iyonah…thank you, that is what i experience where people’s attitudes are just irking me and it really seems like everybody is severly moody or complaining about something all day long. then i got people around me talkin bout they need their meds this morning or they gonna snap. are you serious?? and when you have a F’d up attitude, it affects everybody around you. and i know im not a morning person but i snap out of it. its not like i have a nasty attitude all day long. and its one thing to vent your problems out and another to just be straight complaining all the time about every single thing.

the girl by me said “i need my meds or im not gonna be nice today, i just wanna go home”, so i told her to shoot herself in the foot. guess she didnt like that response

@ Mimi –haha I guess your respoisne was enough to make your co worker think twice bauot what exactly they needed meds or not – people need to leave all the stress and baggage from home @ home and if work is stressing you out then you need to really evaluate where you are in life ….

I know how it can be because these co workers of mine are winers, big babies and they are all older than me … I am probably the youngest associate here @ my location.
