We really didn’t need talk show queen Wendy Williams to tell us Bow Wow’s career is over: his appalling numbers did all the talking. Shad’s latest CD moved a measly 18,586 copies in the first week after very little promotion at radio. Gee, you think Bow Wow’s sales might have been better if he spent more time in the studio than he does on YouTube, Twitter and Myspace?

That’s because Bow Wow’s 15 minutes of fame ended after his success with that basketball movie he came out with many years ago.
No one cares about Bow Wow. Why should they? He still retains the name ‘Bow Wow’ and his only dalliances with exposure is asinine stories about him and various yawn-inducing video hoes.

I thought record companies would go out and buy albums to help boost sales? Have they stopped that practice or are they just not even bothering wasting any more resources on him? It’s clear they didn’t spend money marketing him, because until yesterday, I didn’t even know he had an album out, not that I would have cared, since I don’t buy his genre, but at least I heard when other rap”pop”ers were releasing albums.

he is a young man is what i was getting at. he is used to being successful and he has fallen off. he has been working since he was a child.

i dont think bow is finished he is talented and its just the state of the music business. flo rida got a smash single that has ruled the billboard charts for like 7 weeks in a row and his album only came out to sales of 55,000. you just gotta grind away to make people buy your album these days. tour and all that let people feel like you’re tangible
