Sometimes celebrities forget who opened doors for them and it becomes necessary to remind them in a subtle way. But there was nothing subtle about the way Toni Braxton’s assistant, Zo, reminded Tamar that Toni is the reason for her being on that stage.
Zo draaaaged Tamar unmercifully on Instagram yesterday. It was a blood bath. Tamar’s weave extensions were strewn all over Instagram as Zo and his friend Mr. L Davis snatched Tamar’s edges.
The whole thing started behind the scenes, when Tamar disrespected Toni in mixed company. The details of their disagreement are not made public because Toni is a very private — and classy — woman. Calls to Zo were not returned. So we are left to assume — from Zo’s rants — that Tamar’s level of disrespect — and his response to it — was worth him losing his job.
We can also assume that whatever Tamar did to Toni was serious enough for Toni to give her blessing for her sister to be publicly reprimanded by bloggers.
Once the dragging commenced on Twitter.com and Instagram, Tamar responded with the IG post below — which some of her followers assumed was directed at me. But I was late to the party. Tamar’s IG post was directed at Zo and Davis, not me.
At one point on Saturday, Toni inserted herself into the bloodshed — although her friends now claim her involvement was “a mistake.” All evidence of Toni’s involvement was quickly deleted from Twitter before I could screen grab it.
Zo’s friend has a blog, too, MrLDavis.com. Hopefully he and Zo will enlighten us with a post about Tamar’s indiscretions.
