Reality TV personality Apollo Nida is no longer a fugitive from the law. The white collar criminal turned himself in to prison authorities in Lexington, Kentucky early this morning — and get this — a Bravo producer and cameraman were with him.
According to AJC Radio & TV Talk writer Rodney Ho, Apollo’s inmate locator number is 65725-019.
I told you yesterday that Bravo producers reportedly ordered Apollo to film one final stunt for their cameras before turning himself in to serve 8 years on charges of bank and wire fraud yesterday.
Supposedly, Apollo and his wife, local attorney Phaedra Parks were involved in some sort of spat that was conveniently filmed for a future episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta.
According to Ho, Parks’ spokesman Steve Honig confirmed there was some sort of “incident” at her house Wednesday but he didn’t provide details.
Apollo should feel right at home in a federal prison. He served six years in a state prison for auto loan fraud from 2003-2009. He married his prison pen-pal, Phaedra, soon after his release.
Apparently inmates are allowed to keep their cell phones.
