Bruce Jenner’s six kids are struggling to accept his radical transformation from a closeted cross-dresser to a public one.
According to People magazine, Jenner allows his kids to call him “dad” to make it easier for them to adjust to his transition.
“(Caitlyn) spoke to each of the kids separately and told them to take their time in getting used to this,” a source told People magazine.
“She would prefer not to be called ‘Bruce,’ but told the kids that they could still call her ‘Dad,’ at least for now.”
The source added: “Caitlyn has been really understanding that it doesn’t come naturally for anyone,” the source told People. “No one expects this change to happen overnight. If one of the boys slips up, it’s not a big deal.”
Jenner’s four oldest children from 2 previous marriages refuse to participate in his reality TV show on E! Network.
Sadly, the children say they hope Jenner will be nicer and more attentive to them now that he has emerged from the closet. They seem to think Jenner is not the same man who was emotionally and physically distant throughout their childhood.
Jenner has always been a narcissistic self-centered man all of his adult life. But for some reason his kids his personality will magically change.
Also having difficulty adjusting to Jenner’s now public psychological disorder is his mother, Esther, whose clothes and shoes he used to wear when he was 8-years-old.
Esther Jenner said she will continue to call him Bruce for the time being.
“Think about it. It’s a difficult thing when it’s habit. But I will accomplish this,” 89-year-old Esther Jenner said Tuesday.
In related news, Jenner is being considered as a Miss USA Pageant judge. And since joining Twitter.com this week he has racked up over 2 million followers.
