Fans of former rap artist Soulja Boy are concerned for his health and welfare after he expressed suicidal ideations on SnapChat.
The 25-year-old rapper whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, announced "I'm going to die soon" on the popular video messaging app Tuesday night.
SB's concerned fans turned to Twitter.com to tweet Soulja Boy and beg him to reconsider his plans to take his own life.
The rapper made morbid announcement just hours after former NBA player Lamar Odom was found unresponsive and in respiratory arrest at a Nevada whorehouse on Tuesday.
Odom is presently listed in critical condition and on life support at a Nevada hospital.
Suicidal ideations are usually expressed by people who are preoccupied with persistent thoughts of suicide.
If you are having thoughts of suicide, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1 (800) 273-8255. A trained counselor is waiting to take your call.
