Mystikal

A 42-year-old female accomplice of rapper Mystikal, who was arrested on a first degree rape charge on Monday, says she has proof his accuser is lying.

Tenichia Wafford turned herself in on Monday. She was charged with one count of accessory after the fact to first-degree rape, for allegedly attempting to convince the unnamed victim to drop the rape accusation against Mystikal.

The rapper, whose real name is Michael Tyler, turned himself in to police in Shreveport, Louisiana on Monday. The 46-year-old “Here I Go” rapper was wanted for first-degree rape stemming from an incident last October, according to WENN.com.

Another man, 26-year-old Averweone Holman (pronounced “Every-one”), was taken into custody on Friday, August 18. Both men are accused of sexually assaulting a female fan after the Legends of Southern Hip-Hop concert in Shreveport last year.

Wafford admits calling the victim on the phone, but only because they were friends. She said the woman revealed to her that she was not raped.

“Ain’t nobody did nothing to that girl,” Wafford said in a statement to TMZ. “She even told me — and yes, I got it on record — that she said ain’t nobody did nothing to her. This is some bullsh-t, though. They done threw me for a loop, because if I would’ve knew all of this, I wouldn’t have even called. I was just calling to check up on a friend. That’s all I was doing.”

Mystikal was sentenced to six years in prison in 2004 for sexually battering his then 46-year-old hairstylist. He was released in 2010.

The former No Limit Records artist was back in jail two years later for domestic battery on his longtime girlfriend, Tedra. He served out the remainder of a 90-day sentence for violating his probation.
