Netflix has officially parted ways with embattled actor Kevin Spacey amid more accusations alleging sexual misconduct. The video streaming service also announced it would cancel upcoming projects featuring the embattled actor.
“Netflix will not be involved with any further production of House of Cards that includes Kevin Spacey,” a Netflix spokesman said in a statement late Friday.
The news comes after a 24-year-old teacher in New York detailed a very graphic account of Spacey attempting to rape him when the man was only 15.
The unidentified man met Spacey while taking acting classes in Westchester County, NY, where Spacey taught.
The man recalls Spacey saying he noticed him several years prior when he was only 12 years old.
The man claimed that Spacey offered to help his acting career by introducing him to producers.
Spacey is said to be seeking treatment at a sex rehab facility.
